I have stayed here multiple times and have had wonderful experiences until today. The woman at the front desk was extremely unprofessional and rude. We booked two rooms and only had one car, but there were no spots left in the parking lot. We mentioned this to the woman at the desk and she said, “That’s not my problem, my shift is almost over,” and proceeded to laugh at my mom. A gentleman walked in and said he was here for a party, so it was clear as to why there were no spots left outside. Another man came in and said he had to pay for parking at a meter and she told him it’s “first come first serve,” yet they took down our car information when we checked in. Why do you need the information of our car if you’re not going to ensure each paying customer gets a spot? We ended up getting a pass from the police to park on the street so we could avoid a parking ticket. Absolutely ridiculous and inconvenient. We never experienced such poor customer service here until tonight.

Pay a little extra and go elsewhere. I traveled with 2 kids from out of state for my daughter’s surgery and booked the room in advance. The incompetent people that work there never put in the reservation when I booked it. The day I arrived I was given the same room for twice the price. If I hadn’t been there for my daughter’s surgery and if it wasn’t raining like the monsoons, I would have gone elsewhere. After traveling in the pouring rain for hours my kids and I were tired and just wanted a hot shower and a bed so I had to take the room for the higher price. Won’t happen twice tho.

Old-school motor inn with the basics. Conveniently located next to everything. Ample parking and a short walk to the LIRR station, delicatessen, convenience stores and laundromat. It's about a 5 minute drive to Belmont Racetrack. The staff is friendly and the rooms are nice but basic.

I will never stay at this motel again. And that’s a shame when I have stayed here well over 30 times. But most recently their service is horrible. I try to give them chance after chance becuz the rooms are decent and the prices are right……But when everything else goes wrong from TV not working…Or something with a shower not getting hot water….Or the front desk have absolutely no clue what they are talking about and giving customers misleading information. Hopefully they make some major changes….because I was loyal to them…and if there are many others like me , They won’t last much longer.

It's an alright place to stay, mostly because it is a very affordable option on the outskirts of the city proper. The staff is incredibly friendly and does a great job; they're wonderfully personable. The rooms leave much to be wanted as some of them have lights that are in need of some love, linoleum floors which passed as odd, and very little lighting to fill the room aside from the one hallway light and an assortment of bedside lamps. What really struck me was, despite the median room quality, the bathroom was incredible. It was like stepping into a completely different hotel. So I have to give it to them for keeping quality where it counts. In summation, great staff, great bathrooms, great price, but middling rooms. A perfect place to stay if you only need to stay a night or two.

Smells like smell all over the hotel, hallways and bedroom. I felt really suffocated. I pain $200 for one night and it is totally waste. Im extremely unsatisfied. Bedroom floor is very sticky, table and side lamps has lot of dust. It was totally horrible experience. The worst part is washroom smells like poop. Omg! How can I explain what was that.

Great location! I took my daughter to the UBS arena for Harry Styles concert and we stayed here for one night only ! The staff was super friendly and helpful. The only mirror was in the bathroom so I’m glad I brought my travel makeup mirror. Would definitely suggest bringing a mirror if you plan on getting ready for an event !

Ask for non smoking and the minute you walk in the hotel, the entire building smell like cigarette smoke. Disgusting place. The chair had stains on them. The mini refrigerator was old. Did I mention that I request non smoking and it was still smelled like smoke?

Front desk is very slow and really rude. He could not find my resevation, so I had to wait for about 2hrs at night to check in. Before online booking company helped me what he repeated is I could cancel my reservation with online company and purchase their only 1 left room with higher price.. I have to leave early morning with 4hrs sleeping there.

My family and I had problems with our apt so we stayed there for a month. It's close to everything. The room was very nice, spacious and clean; too many bulky furniture though. The manager should know that less is more. I wish that they would update the shower head in order to get some good shower pressure. The staff was quiet helpful. It was great not to have had to look for parking. The only thing that I really didn't like was the fact that they only had one microwave in the whole building; I had to wait in line to use it sometimes. Also their website included breakfast, but there was no breakfast in sight. All in all a good exprience for a motel.

Ok, it's not a 5 star hotel, but the rooms are clean and comfortable. Internet is slow unfortunately, but it's free. Reasonable rates for the area as well. I have been here before and will use them again.

It was clean and the wifi was great. However it is Old and outdated. Pillows are as this as a pancake. No shampoo or conditioner. No microwave. TV is small, old and picture was defective. Shady characters hanging out in the stairwells. It's a last resort if there are no other places available. It's not somewhere that I would readily book again. It's also lacking places to plug your devises. There was a plug on the light fixtures at the bed sides, however only one worked.

No breakfast served at this motor inn .it says breakfast and I asked when I made the reservation online for a extra blanket and they said they don't have any extra because the front desk don't have access to linean closet and then this morning I asked the maid and she said that she has to get it from the laundry . She didn't deliver a extra blanket. I had to buy my own blanket before coming here. They should have access to the linean closet or have a place behind the front desk where the maides give them extra towels and wash clothes and sheets and blankets. This is the winter time and it's snowing and they have the audacity to charge so much money when there is a attitude and a language barrier

I only stood here to me closer to a relative. This hotel is only good for an emergency stay only. The price is to much and smells funny.

If you are looking for convenience this is your place. It is pretty basic but good for a one night stay. Everyone was very nice.

Two days ago I checked in and I asked if they had a extra comforter and they told me they didn't. Then yesterday morning I asked the housekeeping if they had a extra comforter and she didn't understand and she called it a blanket and she asked me if I needed my room cleaned and I said yes and I left for a while and the maid didn't clean the room. There is no breakfast as they advertise there.

I’m here to visit my longtime (50+ years/from Rolla JHS!!!)/good friend KJ [not only decades of comms, but also contact; he rescued me from the fantastic Campbell River General Hospital/Vancouver IslandBC-CANADA, he/wife have given me/both my children overnights around the conterminous 48; he is particularly gifted at adolescent misadventures…]! Anyway, they are now homeowners in beautiful BrooklynNY-USA, which became the turnaround point during my “Fourth Annual First Quarter Odyssey: East Coast/BrooklynNY”. Being fairly ignorant of this area, my primary concern was safety for my (motor)vehicle. After several hours searching TripAdvisor/google suggestions/reviews, I was satisfied with this fine motel. The reality is that the parking is extremely satisfying; alas, it us simultaneously extremely distant from their beautiful Brooklyn home☹️. Due to my being (slightly) disabled, I requested a ground floor room, which reception accommodated by assigning me king bed/non-smoking room 132. The bed is big, but too soft for me—I may end up on the floor for the best needed firm support. There is a small floor change between the bedroom and bathroom, which could be a tripping hazard. I was surprised to see that there is no microwave in the room, though there are the usual accouterments of flat screen/mini-fridge. I’m pleased with the number of electrical outlets—important for all the electronics we (8+ billion) carry with us consistently now. Also, I need to recharge the eBatteries for my eBike! The hot water comes up very quickly and is very hot. The greatest downside is the distance between Brooklyn and Floral Park. Other than that, this is quite a satisfactory overnight, and has my coveted “iWheel of Approval!”

worst hotel I've ever stayed at. rooms were filthy and had no amenities. hallways and rooms smelled of weed and cigarettes. 0/10 would rather sleep in my car. don't waste your money here.

The rooms are a little small and I requested a non-smoking room but it seemed like the smell of smoke is everywhere. The staff was very nice except for one of the gentlemen with glasses at the desk at night and I'm being nice by saying gentlemen but I'm sure the hotel knows who he is,everyone else was friendly and helpful.

I stay here often when visiting my family in Queens where I was born and raised. Overall, The rooms are decent and clean. The staff is very responsive if you need something. Just keep in mind on busy holidays the parking lot can become full after 10:00 p.m. and you may have to park a few blocks away. Plenty of places to eat nearby and easy to get to from the parkway

I Just Wanted To Thank Everyone, Who Both Worked and I Had The Pleasure Of Meeting at The Aforementioned Motel. It was So Refreshing To be back in My Old Neighborhood In Queens, NY. The People were Wonderful and I Truly Enjoyed My Stay. I Stayed At The Above Motel Due to an Ongoing Tumultuous Family Situation and it was Nice to Have the Time To Recooperate and Visit Some Old Family and Friends. I Would Recommend This Facilty To My Family, Friends or Anyone Who Requires a Place To Stay.

Very disappointed Poor service at arrival. 11:30 pm we arrived to check in super exhausted from a 3 hour long drive from Pennsylvania. At front desk service We were asked to wait 5 minutes than after young men not able to find our reservation 😡 Finally gave room key it’s already been at least 8 to 10 minutes. Walking down hallway horrible cigarettes smell. Finally Enter room to find smell musty odor , hairs on bed to rate this place one to 10 I’ll give a below zero horrible. That’s what we get for renting last minute cheap hotel ! Highly not recommended 👎👎

Have a bunch of relatives in Long Island and Queens so this place is the go-to whenever we need somewhere to stay in New York. The beds are comfy, only complaint is the occasional smell of strong marijuana in the hall.

  • 1/5 Rob E. 1 year ago on Google
Room was smelly, bathroom was smelly, the pillows were as flat as pancakes and uncomfortable, shower faucet was wonky and didn't put out hot water unless you turned the knob in the perfect direction. We only stayed one night and it was for a concert in the area, pretty expensive too, but I guess it's normal in NYC to get ripped off for junk rooms when we had a wonderful room in PA only a few days ago which was spacious, didnt stink and even included breakfast.

My stay at the Floral Park Motor Lodge was terrible. Between both buildings there was only one microwave to use (and of course it wasn't in the building that we were in), the towel rack in the bathroom coming undone from the wall under the weight of the towels, and only 1 working ice machine. I feel like if you are going to charge your guest full price for their rooms then the amenities that you advertise that you have should be functional. Its absurd that you require your guest to go to another building to use the microwave or to get ice.

Super clean without strong smell of chemicals. I had a room with hardwood floors. Thank you because i have the worst allergies. Seemed safe enough.

I have had out of town guests stay here often, but the customer service has been in great decline lately. The workers will just hang up the phone on a customer, or keep them on hold endlessly while they are "busy." I heard employees laughing in the background as one hurried me on hold. As this area expects more out of town guests in the future, this place may be a frustrating experience as it is for me lately.

This hotel surprised me in a very good way. Walking in I thought the hotel would be iffy but when I walked in the room I was wrong. The room had the fresh hotel smell and was very clean in the main area and in the bathroom. The furniture and bed were big and comfy and we’re very good to sleep on. The WI-FI could be slow at times but was good enough to run Fire TV which fit all my needs. The TV was also close to the bed(s) and had good picture and sound quality. The room had a fridge with an ACTUAL freezer that worked decently and had plenty of storage everywhere. The bathroom shower had decent water pressure. Room service would make the bed and restock towels and soap every day I was there. The front desk offered multiple restaurant menus that you could order delivery from to the hotel which were very delicious. The only cons about this place is that it is slightly far from Manhattan but the LIRR station was a 6 minute walk. The parking lot and the lobby occasionally would smell like weed, and the only microwaves we’re in the hallway. But I would 100% stay here again

Overpriced $200 and the room smelled, the hallways smelled. The floor was rubber uneven and sticky. The king-size bed was uneven bumpy and the pillow were flat. It was a nightmare. Some of the side lamps didn't work. I was unable to get a good night's' sleep. I stayed the night only because I don't like night driving. My wife woke up with a painful sore neck. The place is a dump. The best part was parking, I should've slept in my car. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!!
