I came in with my son who is super picky and they accommodated him and they were really cool about it. I just told them to surprise me on my sandwich. I have no idea what they gave me but it was killer. 10/10 recommend!!!! If anyone is in Denton don't pass this place up. It give you dive bar vibes but everyone here is chill and the atmosphere is relaxed. We are totally coming back.

I’ve gone here since I was a lil lil kid and trust me when I say it’s BEYOND worth it. I sadly live in NY now but I would gladly visit Texas again to have another sub of theirs. The last time I was there was probably a year ago from a vist. Its honestly a wonderful place.

This place is amazing, great charm, great quality food at an affordable price with excellent customer service. The parking maybe tight in front but there is parking in the back also. One of the best subs I have ever had. Definitely a recommended place to go (I drive 30 mins one wat just go eat here). I had so far the # 1 w/bacon (pictured), #14 (pictured), and the #13, all of them were really good. The atmosphere in the front dining area is a little busy but they have a side area that is a little more quiet if you want less traffic while you eat.

As someone from Brooklyn, I can attest to quality and freshness of these subs. While it will never have pastrami quite as good as delis back home, it was still delish (and very affordable). Kept me fed through years of college, including over the pandemic. Always have to stop and grab an 18 w/ cheese or a 31 whenever I’m in Denton. These guys are the real deal. Only complaint is always paying extra for pickles or extra veg but it is a locally owned business at the end of the day, not Subway or Jersey Mikes, so that is understandable.

Love the Sub Hub!! Walking distance from Epoch on Eagle, so it is very convenient for those who live there. Love their Chicken Parmesean sub, and their New York Cheesecake is not to be missed! Great self serve fountain drinks, great service, kind staff. Always a chill vibe in the place. Love going to eat here! Best subs I have had! Skip Subway, go here!

This place is not what I consider a chain restaurant - it is unique. Great staff, efficient service and the venue is decked out in street/subway signs and New York related newspaper articles. Plenty to look at and discuss. The location also has a side area that is tucked away, quiet and less traffic. The parking is real tight in the front, there is parking in the back. Careful, some of the sandwich bread has hard crust spots, like taping on a Turtle Shell, which made part of the sandwich uncomfortable to eat. The sandwiches were still outstanding.

Today I had a meal from New York sub hub and quite honestly I don’t know if I will ever be the same. Eating this sandwich was an out of body experience that changed me and the way I view humanity. It altered the course of my life and gave me a new sense of what it means to be alive. If you haven’t tried New York sub hub before, you are missing out on one of the greatest experiences mankind has to offer. Every bite I took was better than the last and if your mouth could have an orgasm, this sandwich would make you finish. I’ve never experienced such a plethora of pleasurable senses in my mouth before. This wasn’t a sub sandwich, it was a spiritual awakening. New York sub hub, I am your number one fan forever.

The sandwiches here were delicious. I had the turkey and cheese sub, which was a good choice. The New York themed decorations in the shop were a lot of fun to look at as well.

I am a huge fan of sub sandwiches and have previously owned a family sub sandwich shop. New York Sub Hub is owner operated every day and it makes a huge difference. The quality of meat products is high. Their offerings for toppings is more than an average chain. The biggest and most important thing to me is the bread. They have a very nice soft roll that they serve their sandwiches on and it is better than any chain offers. Their fountain soda machine offers “sonic” style ice which is always great and the New York themed decor is fun. Don’t waste your time at a chain. Go here first! Pictured is their All Stops sandwich. It is my standard order. It is consistent and never disappoints.

Awesome customer service!! I never wrote a google review but this place deserves recognition, fresh ingredients and flavorful taste within each bite. As long as I have to come here to Denton, this will be my new spot. I will never be able to eat at subway or witch which again. They don’t compare to New York Sub Hub

If you are really looking for a great sub-sandwich, look no farther. This restaurant has been in business for years, and they make the best sandwiche. Hot or cold, wheat or white bread, it's available. Soups and salads are a plus too. Price point is good, customer service is good and it is definitely kid friendly. I strongly recommend this establishment! My favorite is the number seven, ( Italian meats, salami and provolone cheese).

The selection of subs was perfect! Nice amount of veggies, quality ingredients. Loved the atmosphere! Genuine subway tokens under the acrylic tops of the table, a turnstile to walk through to the ordering line. Lots of fun genuine recovered subway signage, newspaper articles, NYC trivia, with lots of UNT coverage, too. Service was great!

Always well maintained, been coming for decades now. Food always good. Management also very helpful when the rewards program deleted my reward. The texts don't tell you, but you have two weeks to get your reward otherwise it's lost. Worth every penny.

The sub's are delicious. I chose the smoked turkey. Loved the inside. All the classic photos are awesome! The service was great and friendly staff too. Will come back for sure. Thank yo for such a good meal tonight.

My fave was the decor. Food was ok--bread was nice and toasted. Limited parking in front. More in the back. This is near the UNT campus.

By far my favorite sandwich place in the area. I love the turkey and cheese but they have so many choices to choose from. They have different toppings to add to your sandwich. They toast the sandwiches!! They also have cookies and of course New York Style Cheesecake! The prices are great!! Definitely recommend to everyone especially my college friends on a budget lol

Went here on a whim with the family. I had a steak and cheese sub. I was expecting a Philly cheese steak but it was very different. The veggies were raw, and different but still good. Instead of mayo they used A1, which added a great flavor. I enjoyed the sandwich. My kids had meatball subs, they loved them. I also got a cup of broccoli cheese soup and it was fantastic.

Delicious Deli sandwich perfection. They keep it simple and make every ingredient count. This place is truly great plus it looks like you walked into 1985 when you walk in there.

Ever since moving to an office on the west side of campus I have been going to sub-hub at least once a week for my lunches. I have eaten sandwiches, hot dogs, soups, at sub hub and they are always great, fast, and on-point. This place is fantastic. I leave very few reviews for anything, but subhub definitely makes it worth my time to make one. Good prices, great selection, accurately made, and well worth what you pay for.

Not from the area and needed to pick up lunch for friends. Saw this place and could tell it had to be a well known local place, it did not disappoint! Asked for the most popular sandwiches and that was a great choice as we got a couple and loved them both! When I arrived with lunch my friend was super pleased with the choices!

This place is an institution and food fixture for UNT. Amazing prices, great taste, and good service. Every sandwich can be turned into a chef salad. This place is a hidden gem. The oil and vinegar is my favorite salad dressing.

This is one of my favorite sandwich places but the past two times I have come I had a bad experience. I usually come here all the time and get the same thing, but I had my first bad experience a few weeks ago, I got rock hard bread on my sandwich. This wouldn't have been a big deal, but i always order togo, and didn't notice until I was home. Then, the last time I came, the lady who was taking my order was clearly stressed out, which i get, but i have seen it way more busy than it was, there was like 2 customers other than me. I have a dairy allergy, and told her no cheese, but then discovered after eating half of my sandwich that there was cheese on it (the cheese is white and melted into the bread). I was very sick that night into the next day.

First time here. The food smells great when you walk in the door. The staff was friendly and answered all our questions. Sandwiches were made quickly and they were very fresh. We will be back.
