Today
(3/8/2023)
my
husband
and
I
decided
to
try
the
24
hour
gym
Southlake
location.
Since,
we
work
in
Keller
that
would
be
a
close
ride
(15
min)from
our
job.
When
we
arrived,
we
were
greeted
by
a
manager,
Christina.
Her
first
words
were
that
it
is
required
to
have
a
Southlake
Id
in
order
to
use
the
three-day
pass
before
seeing
our
Ids.
Which
for
me
was
very
intriguing
since
I
have
not
seen,
in
any
business
that
you
have
to
show
a
specific
Id
to
try
out
a
free
pass.
Also,
we
called
the
day
before
and
a
sales
associate
(Thomas)
was
very
polite
and
welcoming
told
us
to
go
and
try
the
free
pass.
After
we
explained
to
her
that
we
wanted
to
try
the
gym
she
decided
to
make
us
fill
up
the
online
free
pass
again
and
gave
us
a
tour
around
the
gym.
After
a
couple
of
minutes,
my
husband
decided
to
talk
to
Christina
in
order
for
her
to
explain
in
detail
how
come
in
2023
the
first
interaction
with
a
customer
she
does
is
profiling
and
informing
that
a
Southlake
Id
is
required
to
use
the
gym.
She
said
that
in
the
website
was
this
information
“in
small
letters”and
that
is
the
way
that
they
avoid
people
to
try
out
the
gym
if
they
are
not
committed
to
becoming
a
member
and
receiving
a
“free
workout”.
She
guided
me
to
the
website
and
showed
him
where
is
said:
*3-day
pass
is
valid
beginning
on
your
first
day
of
usage
at
a
club.
Pass
good
at
multiple
locations.
User
must
not
have
been
a
guest
or
member
of
24
Hour
Fitness
within
the
last
6
months.
Photo
ID
required.
Local
residents
only.
He
told
her
that
she
was
segregating
people
and
that
local
does
not
mean
that
we
have
to
possess
a
Southlake
Id.
Even
though,
we
live
in
Fort
Worth,
we
work
in
Keller;
which
is
considered
local.
She
apologized
and
agreed
that
she
was
segregating
people
and
she
justified
herself
by
stating
that
she
was
only
an
employee
doing
her
work.
At
that
moment,
we
decided
to
leave
the
gym
and
got
her
information
and
the
manager
information.
It
is
very
sad
to
see
that
in
a
“civilized”
business
we
still
let
people
do
these
kind
of
horrible
interactions.
