Growing up we called these restaurants.. a meat and 3!! Where you get all the good stuff like grandma used to make!! Figuratively speaking!! However, you want a solid meal with a basic daily main entree ..with almost every side you can think of?? This is the place! Most of the time I order food here for lunch and I get another order to take home for dinner!! Always been a fan of this restaurant! I’ve watched it grow over the years to a local landmark! The owner is fantastic! The staff is friendly and helpful! The food is delicious and the place is clean and welcoming! There is no telling the amount of patrons this establishment has coming in and out?? They’ve definitely made a local name for themselves! It’s called good food buffet style food.. fast affordable and delicious!😁💯

We tried out a new restaurant for lunch today! It was pretty good! I had the country fried steak and hubby had the baked chicken. They only have white meat chicken by the way. We even got strawberry 🍓 shortcake for dessert, but ended up bringing it home. The place was packed and even their drive thru was wrapped around the building 45 mins before they were to close at 2pm. You can't beat the "small town" atmosphere in this place. They have a donation box for old American flags, multiple flyers posted about local car shows they support & they are running a donation box for school supplies for the community! Just a wonderful place! Definitely delicious "comfort food!"

This was our first visit and it won’t be our last! Located near Friendship Road & Thompson Mill Road, this is hidden gem. When they say family owned, southern cooking, Papa Jacks is the place! Known for their breakfast, they also offer lunch. When you enter, you order your food ala cafeteria style but they also have a grill. Heard they are known for their brisket & catfish. Service was 10 out of 10 and they make you feel like family as soon as you enter.

So today my son and I wanted some good home cooking breakfast. We googled this place and decided to drive 30 mins to have a relaxing breakfast. Walked in the lady who fixed our plates was very pleasant. So I am thinking ok very impressive went to register and the cashier was so so but nothing to brag on. Got our tray sat down and not one time did any of the servers knowledge us. But they made sure to ask others was they ok. As we was eating a CUSTOMER walked up and started conversating with us. I was so uncomfortable as a black woman with her son in this establishment. I will NEVER ever step foot bk in PAPA JACKS ever again. If you can’t be respectful to ALL customers please do BLACK customers a favor and close your business down . I don’t care if you run a business acknowledge your customers. It was a tip bucket at the register I did not leave a tip there but I wanted to see how service would be. I am a server so I am a very good tipper ……oh well they missed that tip great day

Where do I start?? The food was incredible. I ordered bacon, toast, hash browns, and pancakes. Everything I ate was top tier, especially the hash browns. Just so you know, the pancakes are HUGE (and delicious). The service was also amazing. A whole lot of kind hearted southern people wishing me a wonderful day. I also love how Papa Jack’s supports small businesses. I always judge a restaurant by how clean their bathroom’s are, and Papa Jack’s was no short of pristine. Highly recommend!!

This place has such a homey feel. Everyone is always nice. This was the first place my husband and I visited when we moved to the area. I work maybe 3 minutes from here and every morning I’m at this location, I get breakfast. They stay packed but I’m never waiting long. Food is always hot. Highly recommend!!

I would rate the atmosphere and service as a 10! I’ve been here 4 times, for breakfast or lunch. All four times I found this place to be exceptional in any way I could rate them! Debra patrols the dining area, speaking to anyone and everyone with a sweet, caring manner, the people serving and checking me out are so friendly and anxious to please! It’s my absolute favorite place to eat when I’m out this way! It’s definitely worth the drive!

I have never been here. I will have to say I'm impressed!! Food was excellent so was the service! I'm really picky about my sweet tea and it was perfect. I have already told another friend about it! I had biscuit and gravy and it really was like my grandmothers home cooking.

This used to be a family friendly place to take the whole family and enjoy a meal.I guess being so close to Chateau Elon it’s become affordable by the elite class. The staff is friendly, service is great, but twenty dollars without the tip for (2) pancakes (2) eggs and bacon and coffee is more than a little expensive. This was a place I would frequent, but I made my last trip today.

If you want a freshly cooked breakfast with great coffee, this is the perfect place to go. My wife and I eat here every time we are in the area. The employees all serve you with a smile and always go out of their way to take care of you.

The pork chops are tender and breaded nicely. The broccoli and cheese was great. The mashed potatoes with gravy excellent. The biscuit was dry, ? Left from , it was 12. I've never had a biscuit that dry. The service and staff are happy , very friendly and helpful. My friend and I love Papa Jack's. ❤️ too so much that you for your great restaurant.

My overall experience every time I come here is excellent. The food taste good. The staff are friendly. However, just please stop asking for your customers to leave a tip. It’s distasteful. This is coming from a person that provides a tip for their wait staff, barber, Uber driver, and more. But to leave a tip in the drive-through line. Come on, stop it. Ask your Papa for a tip.

First time here 1/5/24. I can't believe how big their chicken biscuits are! They're bigger than my hand and SO Delicious! Staff is friendly to boot! Wife and i will definitely be back.
