Terrible terrible service!!! There is a coffee and tea in the room, but no cups. We asked a cups in room twice and only we ask personally again cups appeared in out room. Next accident happened after 1 hours. The hotel gifted a sweet compliment and where we was in restaurant our sweet compliments disappeared! Because service woman wanted to take away it. And today the hotel without hot water!!! And nobody came to us, nobody called to say “sorry”. No, I absolutely don’t recommend this hotel, only maybe after renew all service and management in the hotel. The views are nothing if you don’t feel comfort.

A majestic hotel in a beautiful location perched up a hill with a magnificent view of Florence. The staff is exceptionally efficient , courteous and attentive. The restaurants offer great cuisine. The bar has a selection of the best wines of Tuscany and other regions. In prime tourist season the property offers an idyllic refuge from the hustle and bustle of the city. The walks around the propery are wonderful and one can walk to the nearby village of Fiesole.

I have been to Florence a number of times, but I had always stayed in the city. Villa San Michele is just outside of the city and has amazing views of the cityscape. The property is a multilevel property which provides great views from most of the rooms. The hotel provides an amazing dining experience at La Loggia restaurant and the food throughout the property was amazing. The pool is at the top tier of the property and so when you’re sunbathing you have an opportunity to get lost in your thoughts as you take in the views. The property has a special magical feel and while we were there for 4 nights they hosted two different weddings. That would probably be the only negative is that the hotel had too many weddings which non-wedding guests have to cope with. Lastly, the hotel provides shuttle services into the city which makes exploring Florence easy. It's truly a beautiful property well worth the visit.

We visited this spectacular hotel for dinner in 2020. We booked the secret garden and were blown away with views of Florence. Service was amazing, food was outstanding. The perfect venue and view for a proposal... I said yes!!! We hope to visit this ideallic spot again some day. Thank you

My wife and I stayed at Villa San Michele for our 10th wedding anniversary in September 2023 and we can’t recommend the hotel highly enough. If you are looking for a hotel in Italy with breathtaking views, outstanding food and truly exceptional service then book Villa San Michele, you won’t be disappointed. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, the service was of a truly exceptional standard. Every member of staff we were fortunate enough to deal with was attentive and knowledgeable, and I’m sure there’s a whole supporting team behind the scenes equally as capable. Gorgeous hotel in the hills above Florence. Staff is exceptional and incredibly friendly. The restored monastery and grounds are exquisite. Only disappointment was not being able to enjoy a Florentine steak at the restaurant when they ran out. Wish we had stayed longer. Highly recommend.

Had the pleasure of dining at San Michele restaurant last night. Our waiter Marco was devine. We had a great experience thanks to him. Food was good and I suggest going before the sun sets to grasp the amazing view!

wonderful, professional, friendly and helpful staff, just outside Florence . breathtaking view contemporary pears inside the hotel is a museum with frescoes on the ceilings, I have often stayed in Florence in wonderful hotels this one beats them all.

Definitely one of the most beautiful places in the whole country - a 15th century palazzo with beautiful views over Firenze (the city of Florence), with food and service as impeccable as the environment maintained here. Definitely worth a visit to taste the delicious cuisine and wines of Tuscany ✨

This place is a dream. Historical, breathtaking architecture meets a fantastic view over Florence accompanied by incredible food. The Club Sandwich is a must!!
