Management and maintenance staff are very helpful, polite, and professional. They go out of their way to accommodate with little resources to upgrade. Rooms, stairwells, and outside landscape could use a little more TLC. Overall, my stay has been comfortable and the residents have been respectful of one another.

If you like to get spied on by you upstairs neighbors, you're love it here. From the front door to shower. Is having no privacy your thing. The this place is gonna get your motor reving. Cameras everywhere. You won't know til you hear them come tate your every move. This place is insane. I could not believe it was happening, then couldn't believe they refused to stop. Negative 8 stars

This is a document recording of The Inn Town Suite Building Manager at Broad River Road, Columbia, SC has told police officer Lance Corporal Police Officer R. Steiner , and additional officer who arrived to room 110. To begin with today 5/15/23, I have previously, on 5/10/23 informed the Inn Town Suite at Broad River, Columbia, SC that the shower was not hot at all. Additionally, the window required a drape to block out the bright parking lot light at night preventing me from sleeping at night. I had followed up and spoken to a female deskclerk a few days ago and she informed me she would install a drape. On Weds. 5/10/23 Troy Browers or Bowers, the Inn Town Suite at Broad River manager, suggested he had a drape for the window. At least that was my understanding, and I was asking about the drape installation that I need it tonight as I could not sleep in room 110 due to not having a drape to block light and all the neigbhor apartments besides room 110 have a drape curtain to block light. Troy the Inn Town Suite denied he said he had a drape and that the one he mentioned is a valance or not the right size. Our conversation ended and as I left I took his business card. To my back Troy got sarcastic and made comments in a harsh sarcastic manner in regards to my taking his business card. As soon as I opened my room 110 door, the Inn Town Suite building manager came running towards me and shouted at me that he Troy Bowers or Browers had come over to inform me he was NOT renewing room 110 lease option. I told him I do not care I cannot sleep. He then summarily out of the blue told me to get my belongings and depart the room immediately. That HE was calling the police on me to make me leave now. I called the police and I cleaned the refrigerator and packed my belongings. The officers arrived I told them The Inn Town Suite Building manager had no just cause to demand I leave. He was retaliating against me for requesting maintenance in a curtain to sleep. There will be a police report. I am seeking return of my $50 security deposit as well as two nights hotel stay at this time. Sincerely, Jeanette Fraser

Been here 6 months. Great management! Service and Staff been A1. Grounds security cameras. Love when Richland county post up to keep everything civil. ONLY issue is what they can't change. Nobody should have to be on PISSY ELEVATOR DUTY... MUCH love to the staff straight up...

I've never stayed here but know someone who has. (At the broad river facility)The exterior is well kept, the elevator smelled like a public men's restroom, the rooms are clean and includes a kitchenette. It's located near restaurants, a mall and major highways. It gives u a feel of home and a peace of mind.

Been here for about three months now and the few upsides are close proximity to the highway, plenty of local (fast)food spots, decent storage space, and the front desk service. Otherwise, I average seeing about one roach every other day even after using borax, mopping the floors myself to remove layers of dirt, cleaning the mold in the shower, my room smelling musty regardless of how much I clean it. The location is in an impoverished area so expect to see drug addicts and homeless people, although I havenโ€™t experienced any violence or car break-ins thus far. Maintenance tries the best they can but is clearly overwhelmed and it took 2.5 months before there was a curtain in my shower. Expect to pay about $350 a week depending on the room.

The place has roaches and my rug was so dirty that when I spilt water it turned to mud. I asked for a vacuum and was told they don't have any no house keeping .

They had a great remodel several years back and really made the rooms look good. Now they have remodeled a few at a time to different degrees. Some are a little nicer and some are really, really nice. Lots of extra storage space and all wood floors. No carpet to get tracked up or extra dirty from wear. Even glass top stoves in the premium rooms. Some rooms are larger than others and the price differs between them.

Why is this just good because for the most part when the managers and the workers are not bothering me other people that are staying here it is a good place to stay like tonight sitting in my car with my windshield covered one of the employees that was at the trash can came came up to my car with a stick in his hand threatening me saying I don't belong here I know I'm not a guest here stop watching him I let it went the first time he came back again this time closer pointing the stick I let it went the second time the next time he was almost in my door I got out my car looked in the face and told and told him that will put him in the ground if he comes to my car one more time when he seen that was serious he backed away to the trash can still run his mouth and me still running mine telling him to come over one more time and one of us will be going in the ground tonight told him don't ever threaten me what you going to do to me what you going to do to my vehicle who do you think I am and when he seen I was serious then he walked away

We stayed 2 weeks, worked out great for us. Some of the guests/tenants seem to have a habit of leaving trash laying around, but the staff did a good job trying to keep up with it. Management and staff were professional and we would stay here again.

There was always a problem with staffing that is not my problem so because of that I rarely ever got my room cleaned that I was paying for and the manager would never listen to me or any of the guests when we had a complaint she did not like those she would tell us to move out if we didn't like it bad customer service but before I left I got strangled by the manager and got into a fight that I started trying to stand up for my rights as a guest Fed up with all of the b******* but a woman named Rebecca that is on the board was very nice and refunded my money back but I will definitely not be staying there ever again

One of the worst hotels I stayed in. Stayed for 3 weeks and paid for a day then got kicked out. Elevator smells like urine. They donโ€™t give deposits back also.

  • 1/5 Alexis K. 1 year ago on Google
They are beyond unprofessional! They took extra money out my account. And was suppose to refund me my money and didnโ€™t. None of the stoves works in the room they have roaches. The power kept going out. It was a horrible experience. The only reason I gave it one star is so I can leave a review please find another place to stay

The room in my reservation was not available so I was given another room. While the room itself was nice, I lost count of the number of roaches I killed in the two hours I was there! Not to mention the gnats. Will not stay here again.

Changed my reservation dates (1 week stay) with an offset of the arrival and departure date. The front desk hours are very limited and they are closeminded to the current business than assisting with questions or comments. My example, I was booked a week and did not arrive on time for check-in (1200 mile drive presented complications), I booked a different hotel for the night with intentions of paying the remaining days regardless. The Front Desk Rep stated I did not arrive on time for the prior night and the my 7 days had been cancelled (with a charge for the prior night). I asked if they were ok for me to pay $1k to another business rather than assist with ensuring I can still have the original booking. It was stated "You don't understand, because you did not arrive you were a no-call/no show and we cancelled you booking." Stated, " If you would like to come back during check-in hours we may have something for you." Is is just me? Needless to say, I booked another Hotel less than 1/4 to 1/2 mile from this business with a Awesome Service, a full Pool, Deck Grill w/ Patio for a family gathering and a room that was absolutely perfect..... Sorry, Intown- NEVER AGAIN!!

Day #34 of living in the jungle: As of 02/27/2022. The water has been cut off this Sunday. There is no one working in the office Sunday. They cut the water off while no one was working because they knew ppl would be angry. But tomorrow is Monday and we want all the smoke when y'all get back. This place should be shut down. People are paying $50-70 a day. $311-480 a week. $1300-1600 a MONTH. But there is no working water. People are spending their hard earned money and can't even wash their behind, flush the toilet, wash clothes, etc. Grown ppl! Ppl with kids! Then if there's an issue with the water ok.... But why are you still charging people full price??? People agreed to pay with the understanding that they were going to have working Water, housekeeping, cable, wifi, etc. The lady just walks around saying she's going to clean stuff and never does. If we can't get what we paid full price for why are you still charging full price???? There's roaches in every room. The light fixtures make this loud humming noise. These rooms should be no more than $200 a week. When people are in a bind you don't kick them while they are down. Ppl here are homeless, waiting for housing, etc. Going through enough and the fact that y'all can't even be decent human beings is sad. That's why I'm going to report yall if the water is not turned on by 12p.m. You can't leave tenants without working water for long periods of time. I know that for a fact and the water is contaminated. This place about to get shut down FOR GOOD.

Absolutely shocking. This place was a great reminder of the realities of human living. These rooms are well worn. Employees going in your room while you aren't there.. Harassment by management and employees ..Why? Because when i left , i kissed the hand of my beautiful African American girlfriend and said ..That is ๐Ÿ˜ž sad. And you will be if you choose this place.

The staff was great. Very welcoming and kind. From the manager to the maintenance man, I was met with nothing but kind hospitality. The room was clean and met all of my needs. I would recommend a stay here.
