My Family and I just spent the last two nights here. We we're in town for an Army graduation. At $70 a night, I would just expect a clean room. The bathroom did not appear to have been cleaned well ever. This morning before we left, my Husband beat us all down to the breakfast area for coffee and waffles all to have someone walk by with their dog that walked by and dropped dog poop all over the floor. Not a good thing while one is trying to eat. This seems totally unacceptable to me. The two stars are for the nice lady working the breakfast area and the close proximity to Fort Jackson. But shame on them for recommending this place for Families. No LaQuinta for us ever again.

Customer service was great. Hallway smells of stale cigarettes but rooms just smelled older. Carpets are old & worn (didn't notice soiled spots, but wasn't looking)......sheets, pillows, & room looked clean. Washer dryer on 3rd floor & dated but did a good job on my 3 loads of laundry! Too hot to go to the pool (>100 degrees) located behind parking lot......no pet deposit but they should charge 1 to keep things to standard. I am pretty sure flees need to be taken care of (as I have a bunch of bites around my ankles....

This place is mind blowing! I stayed here for 3 nights and what I experienced was surreal!! From everything looking glossy and bright, to the loving attendants at the front desk! From the fresh smelling rooms to the spark of the new amenities! From the best variety of breakfast to an affordable stay! I have no option but to recommend this place to you all!

Extremely loud doors, dog hair all in the bathroom, hot water in shower and sink never worked and the employee (female) this morning was very rude. She walks around starting at 10:00AM yelling house keeping and going door to door. If check out isn’t till 11:00AM she shouldn’t be bothering guests. I’ve been here three times. Hot water in showers didn’t work two of my visits.

Zero complaints, at all! The staff was incredibly accommodating to last minute changes, the continental breakfast was solid, and the hype about the renovations is real!! Everything was clean and well-maintained, and the beds were virtually brand new (and super comfortable). We will definitely be back. Thank you LQ Crew! Photos are representative of a two-queen room (before and after); the bathroom had a low bathtub/shower so if you need a roll-in shower, go for the King room or one of their ADA rooms.

A great stop for the night. You can tell the hotel has been remodeled. It's a family own business, and they take pride in their business. Very friendly, very clean, comfortable beds and pillows, bathrooms are fabulous. We had a small issue with TV because it was unplugged, and you can't get to the back. They promptly came and took care of it. I highly recommend this hotel. Stay away from the other LA Quinta off 77, rude and dirty. The breakfast is top-notch.

This new location is excellent! It is clean, breakfast is very good, and the workers are very pleasant. I would recommend anyone coming to this area to stay here.

Staff was excellent. Hotel newly renovated and very convenient to the highway. Wish there was carpet in the rooms when I'm walking around in my bare feet on day 2 of stay after declining house keeping on day 1.

They re-opened 3 weeks ago, everything was very clean. Rooms were perfect, breakfast was great! Would definitely stay here again 100%! Had mini-fridge and microwave if needed and bed was comfortable!

Room was nice, with the convience of a microwave and fridge. Loved the dove soap in the bathroom. Everything was nice and clean with no bad smells. The only thing was that the mattress was a little uncomfortable, but I still rested well. Overall it was a good stay.

Great stay! Much better than expected. Only real complaint is the shower was on the chilly side, but the ac was amazing! Breakfast was definitely worth it for sure. The hostess was very polite and professional

Great pet-friendly hotel. Room looked brand new. Very clean. Service was excellent. Front desk staff was welcoming and very helpful pointing out nearby places to eat. Just off I-77 and the mid-point of our trip. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived here at the hotel after check-in time to discover that the room was clean and ready for us to stay except for someone forgot to log it in at the check-in desk computer. It took about 10 minutes for us our two room suite. I was very pleased to say that the room was very tidy and clean. The nicest thing about this room is the two bathrooms. It has a comfortable king-size bed and one sofa bed this is a wonderful room for for two to four adults or one small family.

I have never stayed in a La Quinta before. I was a little worried about what to expect. We were in town visiting my niece at University of SC and the hotel we had booked was not at all up to our standards. I couldn’t stay there. By this time everything was full but one of the hotels recommended this place. They said it was brand new. I went over to look at it and while the area around it is in transition and far from downtown the hotel itself is immaculate! They gave us a tour and showed us the room so we would feel comfortable. The whole staff was extremely friendly. We booked it right away and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were super comfortable and the whole place is sparkling clean. No issues at all. We didn’t have time for breakfast but the coffee was good. I would recommend it if you need a place and are having trouble finding something close to downtown or are on a budget.

Okay for a night or 2. Breakfast was good with good options at 730 am. Room was sufficient. Bed was comfortable. Dog friendly hotel, would suggest tile or wood for floors, remove carpet, lots of stains on carpet. Bed comforter was dirty, went to front desk and they replaced right away. Staff very nice and helpful. Pool onsite. Overall, good experience

I stay here frequently as it is a waypoint on a route I travel often. I travel with two cats and La Quinta is always accommodating of my cat family. My cats prefer La Quinta since they too have a very comfortable stay, and bask in the welcome vibe. The rooms are VERY nice. I don't know what people are talking about when they put up reviews that say "roaches, dirty, urine smell, etc.," Every single time I stay here, the rooms are pristine, the linens are sparkling and fresh, and the rooms are nicely updated and the beds are extremely comfortable. I've stayed in several different rooms and each one was just as nice as the other. It's not brand spanking new in terms of bathroom fixtures and all, but almost everything else has been renovated. The breakfast was great and the service staff (every one of them) are friendly, efficient and genuinely caring about you. Nothing smells of urine and the place smells like all hotels smell. So if you're writing bad reviews because the hotel room is clean and likely your home is not so you have to bad mouth a place because it's nicer than what you're used to, please stay at Red Roof or some other consistently horrific place. I'll bet you'll like it better.

We arrived around midnight and needed a place to stay. Staff was nice, quick and helpful. Other than that I wouldn't go back. Lobby floor was dirty (it rained all day), place didn't smell good since smoking is allowed. Carpet had stains everywhere (breakfast area, halls, bedrooms). Small roaches by the ice machine and hallway. Bedroom look nice but it was dirty. Pee stain on one of the bedsheets, stains on bedsheets, pillows, carpet, towels, mold in shower curtain, mold in sink and the sink got clogged somehow. Breakfast was not good. It had no flavor, syrup tasted like water, no flavor. My kids didn't eat. Bananas were green and the orange juice was either watered-down or really cheap. I gave it 3 stars because it fulfilled our needs at the moment, bed to sleep, roof over our heads and nice staff.

My experience at this hotel was awful. I was told we were going to be in a non smoking room but it didn't matter the room was filled with smoke smell on everything. I had to sleep with my head covered to avoid smelling smoke through the ventilation system. The room wasnt cleaned well dust on the lamps and night stand, cigarette butts and ashes on the floor next to the bed. The staff was ghetto acting, decor in lobby/breakfast area outdated. This hotel differently wasn't worth the $135 I paid... I would have been better off sleeping in the car.

Absolutely wonderful, friendly staff. Beds were so comfy, especially when so far from home. We were displaced by hurricane Irma, and La Quinta and their staff were there to make us as comfortable as possible. Breakfast was great as well. Also loved that they were pet friendly. I cant say enough good things about them. Thank you again for making our stay comfortable for our family.

Being pet owners we have always been fond of staying at La Quinta hotels while traveling and have mostly found them to be clean and comfortable. Recently stayed for one night at this hotel in a king suite. Fortunately the mattress was new and comfortable but the upholstered couch and chairs were in bad shape and in need of deep cleaning or replacing. Location is not the best with limited choice of restaurants. Breakfast is served but there were many complaints heard from the people who were staying there from the coffee being too weak, the cereal being stale, no fruit available and no bread for toast since it had not been defrosted? Saw no one there that seemed to be responsible for taking care of the breakfast area. The only redeeming value was the manager at the check in desk who was pleasant but overwhelmed with that plus other problems with staff, phone calls, check outs....etc.
