This place offers a variety of options, with weekday specials, and weekday events. The pizza is not your typical pizza and has a different cheese so expect something different when you get pizza here. They have pizza and burger specials. The burgers and pizza are good, unfortunately we came here one time and were served a burnt pizza which was very disappointing. The crab dip was delicious, I recommend trying it. I also came for trivia one night and the host unfortunately said a lot of slurs that are not appropriate and most of my party was very offended, so I do not recommend coming in for trivia night. The booths are small and fit 4 people, there is a small enclosed outdoor seating area and the parking is down the street for when the parking lot gets full.

The king of the Maryland pizza. Half price pizza on Mondays and Tuesdays is hard to beat. Fantastic happy hour selections as well. I would try the blackened Thai wings, crab pretzel, curly fries with a side of queso.

We love the Stained Glass Pub for its great food. Today we had a delicious pizza which is half-price on Mondays and Tuesday. We also love their sandwiches and salads. The service is very friendly and the prices are not hard on the budget.

Great place for meeting or party (especially adults group age) around suburb of Silver Spring area. It's located next to Glenmont Metro Station. Convenient location - and free parking available near by the restaurant. Inside dinner room is an average size with ordinary traditional style decorations. Atmosphere was comfy-not too loud or crowded. Food is just ok for me. (I had burger, coconut shrimp - nothing fancy) but I have heard they make a pretty good pizza and some dishes though. Next time I might try. As for service is fine, price and value is ok. If your main point is finding a local chill out bar in Silver Spring with comfort American foodies and alcohol drink, I suggest this place "Stain Glass Pub and Sport Bar" will be fit for you. p.s. another good thing is they always have promotions offers throughout week for customers. Also special events, karaoke and live music.

This homey pub reminds made me feel cozy on a cold winter evening, and proved to be the perfect setting for the memories made. The hot crab dip was very yummy, and it came with a side of warm bread. We were also offered chips, but we enjoyed the bread just fine. I also really enjoyed the rolls- get those from the appetizers menu! Last call on a Friday night was at 1:10 am. Another thing I appreciated greatly- while we stood outside talking, the bartender let the group know that if we felt too inebriated to drive, then we could park our cars there free of charge and not get towed. This pub cares about their customers wellbeing, and I look forward to coming here again.

Old pub 🍺 but also has a family restaurant vibe. I came here on Tuesday at 6 PM. The place was already getting crowded. It took about 15 minutes for the pizza to come out. Even though pizza was made with canned mushroom and canned pineapple s, I enjoyed the old fashion fresh made pizza. Beer comes out in a 12 ounce beer glass, I have not seen the small beer glass for a while. a large pizza, will give you 24 pieces.

I primarily go for the pizza. It is one of my aunt's favorite. There is a home made feel to the dough that stands out. I ask for everything on it minus fish, pineapple, bacon and C bacon. Too much salt otherwise and unless an Italian in Italy builds a pineapple pizza... I'm not touching it. ☆with extra toppings ask for the pizza to he well done. The crab soup is one of my favorites here. Always want more crab added before serving the bowl. Sorry... raised in MD... never enough crab. The picture is of the clam chowder. Too thick for me but I ate it all. The place can get crowded and there may be a wait. It's not fancy at all but great for a good pizza, beer and a game on tv.

I've been going here since 1974. Used to have the best pizza. Seems the sauce has changed and you can't even get what you ordered anymore. My last two orders have been completely wrong. Whether it's because the cooks can't read English or because the dumbing-down of America continues I don't know.

I left here more pleasantly surprised than I’ve ever been after eating at a pub. 6 of us came, all had different meals and every single one was fantastic. The kids meals are BIG and just as flavorful as the adults. The prices are great, the wait staff was attentive and the food came out quickly. If we didn’t live in another state this would be our new favorite place to eat. Loved it!

It’s not the Ritz but it’s cozy with good food. Our server wasn’t exactly the most responsive and it was a quieter night so not sure what the issue may have been. He also gave me commentary about what I ordered. I’ll chalk that up to him and not ding the pub in my review. I’d come back. It’d be great if they had a beer list or board.

This gem is a classic stop any night of the week. Great selection of beer, food, and there's always something awesome on or good music playing. This place will forever be my cousin Alex's favorite place to visit when he'd come home. RIP. Best pizza in the area, and no I'm not overselling it. The sauce makes it taste like mini lasagna pizza slices and oh baby is it yummy. The price you pay is honestly respectable especially because of the kind of service and vibe you get just being there. All the workers are amazing, understanding, and know how to have a good time. Went here with 10 of my coworkers for lunch, had a few drinks, pizza and wings. They had no problem accommodating our group size. Everything was amazing!!! This place has a friendly local vibe and the wait staff are Excellent! They’ve earned a life customer out of me in just one visit!!!

Let me make it clear, I don't review anywhere. I had heard of this place from my best friend, and he mentioned the food is good, I checked the review, and they seemed very nice. I was starving, so we ordered parmesan chicken spaghetti, soup, a burger, and two sandwiches. The food quantity was excellent; however, the food was totally bad or undercooked. I had ordered extra separate French fries, but they never came. After finishing the food, we waited for the cheque for more than 15 minutes. This place is bustling, and I have heard they are known for Pizza. However, I will never revisit this place.

Fantastic pizza! Don't live in this area. Was in the neighborhood for another reason and remembered Stain Glass Pub pizza. It didn't disappoint. 👍🏻 The carry out cashier was very friendly and,unsolicited, offered me a drink which resulted in a combo deal special and discount. Bravo SGB ! 👏👍🏻

Just a great place to get good food. Good mix of real people. The pizza is excellent, and there's lots of different choices for kids and adults alike. A lot of different tastes in our group, and everyone was very happy afterwards.

Remember the TV show Cheers? This is a close fit to the theme song of the show. The bar is great. The food is very good and they have a nice sit down area for family's to enjoy the restaurant. I give it a 10. Oh the pizza is great.

It was crowded and no one knew about a back table we reserved for a friend's birthday, but Ryan Schumm helped us get drinks quickly while they handled the situation. Service was good. Clean bathrooms. What food I did try..french fries were hot and fresh.

Food is fresh, hot, very flavorful with a homemade taste. Pizza and wings were amazing. All types of fries from curly to skinny and loaded are delicious. Crab dip was beach quality. Steamed shrimp was perfectly steamed and seasoned. 100% recommended if you've never been to the pub. Ask for Monica she treated us like royalty and was a great server and on our next visit she was our bar tender. Stainglass is a much try!

We tried this place just to order the cheesy crab pretzel. My wife loves a particular restaurant's crab pretzel but it is about an hour's drive away. My hope was to find a suitable replacement that was much closer to home. Mission accomplished. I also ordered a small pizza to try. Not bad at all. It reminded me of Ledo's style pies. All in all, we will visit again to get our pretzel fix.

One of my all time local places to go for a great pizza. Fair prices, fast and efficient service. This place is a legend within the community! Been going here for 35+ years!

I have been coming here so long.. so long I forget when I got my first pizza here. Probably like 1988 or something like that. Great pizza and always have great sandwiches too if you are looking for a lunch option. I have never seen the small bar in front empty. They gave quite a local loyal following from the area and the dining area is packed on Friday and Sat. Only problem is once the metro was built parking was limited and for to go food the lot is hard to get into when it’s dinner pick up time. Still worth the wait hands down one of the best square OG pizzas. When Ledos cuts corners on quality, this place doesn’t.. will keep going back for many more years.

You wouldn't think this place has good pizza, but its great pizza! I usually cannot handle much lactose in my food, but this is and will continue to be one of my favorite pizza spots! Not only is the food good, but the service is just as amazing. The Waitress and bartenders are extremely polite and the beverages are ice cold. I will definitely be returning [with friends] on Monday and Tuesday evenings for more good times.

Pizzas are 1/2 price on Tuesdays. If you have nowhere to be quickly, settle in with a drink from the bar for a bit of a wait. Tuesday, the wait staff was hustling! If you order a multiple topping pizza, there might be some mistakes. Just use your fork to remove the guilty parties. Your mouth will be rewarded with the most delicious pizza you have ever eaten! The thin crust was cooked to perfection! It had just the right amount of cheese, so it does not slide off the top. Other than our order taking much longer than anticipated, we came as strangers but left as friends!

The friendly bartenders and servers accent the great food. Erin, the day manager is very sweet and fun. I've gone to The Stained Glass Pub for many years and have always been very happy with the experience. Parking in front of the restaurant is sometimes a challenge but overflow parking is available at the 7 ELEVEn next to them. The food and drinks prices are very easy for most budgets. You really should try them and I'd bet you'd be back again!

Pizza is fabulous! Servers are attentive and quick. Very busy on Mondays and Tuesdays, half price pizza night. The ambience has been the same for years...but very decent for families and friend groups. Noisy and fun!

I've lived in the area for 50 years, and my friend and I finally visited the location in Silver Spring. I went there for the pizza and I can honestly say it's among the best pizza you'll find anywhere! The sauce, crust, sausage and cheese combined to delight my taste buds. Our waitress was pleasant and extremely helpful. My buddy had the steak and cheese and absolutely loved it. I highly recommend this place. I wish it was closer to where I live so I could eat there more often.
