Great restaurant with nice outdoor seating. We came for lunch and were lucky to find a table outside. Inside decor is very cute and spacious. It’s part of a small shopping center so it’s convenient to go to CVS or get delicious ice cream next door. Plenty of parking soaces.

Up until a couple of days ago, Flower Child was my go-to for a quick, healthy meal that's tasty and reasonably priced. A couple of days ago, I picked up a lunch bowl and found a peace of metal wire in it. It was about 1 inch long and very sharp. I am lucky that I did not swallow it or break any teeth. I called the restaurant (the location in Bethesda) to tell them about it- they reimbursed me for my meal and sent me a whopping 15$ gift card towards my next order. I think I may get a few bottles of kombucha for the $15 as I will be reluctant to get any fresh food from them again.

The Avo hummus is delicious. The bread is fresh. The restaurant is nice and clean. And staff is nice. But you might need extra time for the food. I order only chopped salad and hummus it takes about 25 minutes.

I was heartbroken when the Flower Child near me closed (the space is still available to lease FC!) but was thrilled to see this location still open. This one was amazing too. Very nice employees, large space, cute decor. The food is all healthy with most of the dish being some type of vegetable. It is not vegetarian unless you want it to be. They have a selection of proteins that includes meat and other options. My old standby (Forbidden Rice) was still on the menu but the Glow Bowl was making promises it was able to keep. It had sweet potato noodles with shitake mushrooms, squash, and other vegetables and two slices of lime. It's got an Asian flavor to it with a hint of ginger and sunflower seeds. The steak wad the right choice for protein. I also had the yuzu roasted Brussels sprouts which was also delicious but ended up being too much food with the glow bowl. They have the option to create an entree out oft the sides too. My gf had the Spaghetti squash and zucchini "bolognese" with grilled chicken was tasty too. Love it and we'll be back again and again.

I really liked the mac n cheese with salmon. So much so that I can't wait to go back and have it again. One area for improvement. My friend and I arrived at this location at 8:11pm, it closes at 9pm. We bought self serve iced tea, chose our table and got served fairly quickly. My friend went back at 8:35pm to refill his iced tea and realized that the staff had already packed it away for closing. Was a bummer because there was still time to close. I understand the staff wanting to start closing since it was almost 9. But wish we could've gotten refills.

On a scale of romances to documentaries, Flower Child is a summer read set in the country. Bright colors are the rule of thumb when it comes to decor, and the menu provides a number of healthy and tasty options. My partner opted for a bowl and added salmon, and I went for a wrap...and in the very typical way, I wish I had ordered what they had ordered. Parking was plentiful, and we really enjoyed our visit!

This was a great place to meet my friend from Arlington who is gluten-free. She lives in Virginia and I live in Wheaton and Flower Child was right in between us with easy access right off the beltway. The place has feel-good vibes and the good choices are fresh and delicious with many gluten free options.

Everything is so delicious here. I always get one of their bowls and have never been disappointed. Lots of seating inside and out. I like meeting friends here for a quick meal. They have wine too.

If you come here, you cannot be in a hurry. On a Saturday at 3pm, with the restaurant 10% occupied, my one wrap still took 18 minutes. Food was as tasty as “healthy” gets. Cute decor.

I have a 45 minute lunch. I called my order in. I was told it would take 15 minutes… 35 almost 40 minutes later. I finally got my meal but by that time. My lunch break was over. I get the meal back to work, and I finally eat it about a half an hour later, and the sweet potato glass noodles were hard as rocks. The salmon was water boarded, and it taste so bland. It was horrible!! There was no seasoning. The glow bowl was just awful! I was so dissatisfied that I had spent my entire lunch break, in fact I was late getting back from lunch plus $19.50 for this meal and it went into the trash.

Awful experience !!! Sweet potato fries were refried and served. Returned it. then ordered the humus with vegetables. All old veggies put around the humus. A rude young man walked out to my table to collect $4.00 more for the humus before they bring this awful dish. total rudeness! Such a waste of good location terrible food . We did not order anything else after those two items and left.

Delicious food, I loved the Ginger Miso Crunch salad, and the side of glazed sweet potatoes was yummy. But the menu is a little confusing to me (what exactly is an entree?), it's kinda pricey, and take out service took longer than I had hoped. In the end, the food tasted great, and that's my main takeaway from the experience.

This location is an extraordinary place in terms of cleanliness. I just needed some juice, and was impressed with the choices. It's a different experience indeed. Kind people, making good food is a winning combination.

We’ve eaten there in the past and liked it. They need better vegan choices though. The cauliflower risotto was horrible! And it would be easy to make the potatoes or broccoli vegan or vegan optional. Bummer. Won’t eat there again until I can eat dairy again.

Fresh and good! Got the Turkey cob salad and replaced the turkey with shrimp here’s a photo :)

Just passing through on a road trip and holycowwww! It's so hard to find quick healthy options on the road and they absolutely nailed it here! My food was ready in a timely manner and the woman at the register was super sweet! I'm also a very "particular" eater along with food sensitivities so I always have to modify my food and they nailed my order!!! I ate the entire wrap and side salad and wouldn't change a thing! From the avocado spread to the dressing, I was so impressed!!! I also had to use the restroom before I left and they were clean! 10/10 Definitely recommend!!!

The Bethesda restaurant was spectacular! Food was so fresh and deliciously prepared with flavorful seasoning to die for! Decorating was so warm and fresh with plenty of outdoor seating! I will definitely be back and recommend to friends! You inspire me to be healthy!

Great healthy options from salads to protein bowls to kids meals. Avocado toast was tasty on seed bread and cauliflower risotto uses a lemon zest for extra flavor. Also love the local beers on tap.

It’s definitely GOOD. it has become a little ghetto lately though. Messy bathrooms and “we can’t do that” responses to requests that they’ve done many times before. Outside tables were mostly a mess also…and they could use a bug zapper. Also portions smaller and prices up but I guess that’s everything everywhere now.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is very nice. Their was a line but it went quickly. You place your order give them a table number and they will bring the food to you. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The salmon with brussel sprouts is my favorite. The washroom were very clean.

I am sorry, but I thought the food was very underwhelming. I got the salmon with a side of macaroni and carrots. I will admit that the carrots were very tasty, but the salmon was so small for a $15 main dish, plus it had no flavoring. The Mac and cheese was also flavorless... It tasted more like Mac and milk.

Our meal was delicious and our service quick and friendly. I got the salmon with mashed gold potatoes and asparagus.

What can I add that hasn’t been said? I went with a friend Saturday night March 12 to order takeout. The food was delicious. I ordered the roasted butternut squash salad with salmon. Every bite was tasty and exciting, containing unexpected and very pleasant flavors — some that I could place, some that I couldn’t. My friend had the Glow Bowl and the vegan coconut soup and said both were phenomenal. I also ordered the broccoli side and had it for breakfast. Just delicious even cold. But I also want to add that the woman who took our order at the counter was just so lovely and delightful. Interacting with her was a true pleasure. Sadly, I didn’t get her name or I would shout it out. She’s just a sparkling star, calm and understated yet effervescent. Made the whole experience feel warm and a bit magical.
