Visited Dr. Green today as a new patient for a skin cancer check and acne treatment. The staff was very welcoming and professional. Was seen before my appointment time and everyone had a great attitude! Dr. Green was knowledgeable, took his time answering all my questions while educating me on prophylactic measures. One of the best overall medical experiences I’ve had, would recommend Dr. Green for any of your dermatological needs.

I can’t express how happy I am with this practice. I had sclerotherapy on my under eye veins, and Dr Green was absolutely amazing. I’ve had under eye veins for years which have always been something I wanted to get rid of as it affected my confidence. He explained the procedure, in a calm collected manner which put me at ease. The procedure itself was nearly painless, and I am absolutely ecstatic with my results. Confidence has fully been restored and I am so thankful I found Dr Green.

First time at Dr Green practice, I needed to have a mole removed, everything went perfectly. Dr Green was great, he really took the time to explain during my first visit, didn't pressure me in doing it, then I called back to schedule the procedure. The whole team there is very nice and attentive. Dr Green called personally the day after the procedure to make sure everything was ok! I highly recommend this place.

I wish I’d found Dr. Green years ago. When I first became a patient, I was seeing another dermatologist but sought out Dr. Green’s services as he was one of the few providers in the area who offered the Excel V laser. During my consultation, I was so impressed with his ability to quickly identify my problem and its causes (my previous dermatologist had diagnosed me, but didn’t really care to look into the causes of my skin issue, leaving me with ineffective treatments that weren’t targeting the root of the problem). I got two rounds of lasers with Dr. Green and my rosacea is as good as gone - it’s been over six months since my last treatment and while it wasn’t cheap, I can honestly say that this was some of the best money I’ve ever spent. I now see Dr. Green exclusively for routine skin issues. He is objective and matter-of-fact but never dismissive, which I really appreciate, and I’ve never felt pressured into buying something or pursuing additional treatments - on the contrary, I’ve even inquired about (costly, non-insurance-covered) treatments that he advised me against getting. I have a much better understanding of my own skin now that I’ve seen him. The office is very responsive, upfront about pricing, and easily reachable, which is so rare for this city. Michelle is always friendly and I’ve never had a problem scheduling an appointment or receiving a reply via phone or email. I don’t live anywhere near Bethesda but wouldn’t even consider going to another dermatologist. The assistants are very friendly, knowledgeable, and ask questions to fully understand your concerns. Anyone can prescribe you things but if you want results, I highly recommend coming here.

He takes his time with patients, and is very thorough. His factual knowledge enhances your ability to make informed decisions regarding your treatment plan-above personal gain. Visited Dr Green on advice from my employer so assumed that I would have a good experience. While I cannot fault the front desk and other members of staff, I can fault Dr Green himself. I found his bedside manner to be below the standard that I expect. Today was my first appointment and he came into the room, no introductions and what I felt to be dismissive questions. At the end of my appointment I felt rushed out of the examination room. I thanked Dr Green but he just walked away without saying anything. I don't think I'll be coming back.

I have been Dr. Green's patient for many years. He is always professional, thorough in his examinations and explanations. He is an excellent listener and you never feel like you are being rushed. His staff is also very friendly and professional as well.

I was incredibly disappointed by my visit to Dr. Green's office. I am giving one star because the staff (front desk and medical assistant) were incredibly pleasant and professional. The building is also very nice and the facility itself seems clean. But after my visit (which was about 2 hours ago). I felt compelled to write this review about what an awful experience I had. I was referred to Dr. Green's office by my primary care provider because I have been experiencing swelling in my calves for several years. It is not a life threatening issue, but something I have been seeking a medical opinion on. I arrived to my appointment at Dr. Green's office early and to my surprise they put me in exam room about 5 minutes before my appointment was actually scheduled. The medical assistant came in right away, took my history, and I described to her why I was there. I then waited 30 minutes for Dr. Green to come in to see me, which I did not complain or fuss about. I found Dr. Green to be unprofessional, condescending, impatient and uncaring. After waiting for him for 30 minutes, he came in, took about 1 minute to actually examine me (look at my legs and feet) and then talked AT me for 5 minutes straight, incredibly fast. When he would break, he would say things like "so what is your question?". When I answered his questions, he would ask me "is that the answer or are you just saying that?" which I found unacceptable. He did not do anything unethical, which makes it difficult for me to describe how uncomfortable this appointment was. His 'bedside' manner is non-existent. He made me feel as though I was just there making up my issues and wasting his time. I am a patient, not a doctor. My doctor referred me to him; I did not go there suggesting I have a vein issue to waste his time and my money. After that 5 minute exchange, he told me basically there are two types of swelling and mine is definitely not due to veins it is lymphatic so "it is just you". He said over and over, "it's just you"..."Its just you, so what is your question?" As a medical professional, I think it is entirely reasonable to tell a patient that what they are experiencing in their body is natural but again, the way he delivered this 'diagnosis' was abrasive and condescending. He said he could do a scan if it would make me feel better but the technician isn't here right now and he's sure it wouldn't find anything anyway. By the end of this 10 minute appointment, I know it was visibly apparent to both Dr. Green and his medical assistant how upset I was after the whole thing. I was choked up, shaking and teary eyed. I do not consider myself to be a very emotional or sensitive person; I never write reviews like this. I am also shocked to be writing this after reading all the positive reviews and being referred here by a PCP that I very much respect and like. I don't know if this is just an off day for this provider as this is the only time I've seen him. Maybe this practice is more favorable for cosmetic procedures than medical conditions. In summary: I would not recommend this practice to anyone seeking medical advice. I am just one person, but my experience was a thirty minute wait to have a doctor barge in to basically tell me "its nothing" in less than 10 minutes and make me feel completely demoralized in the process. I hope this post discourages other patients from seeking medical care here or at the very least encourages this provider to consider how he may improve the patient experience of care. It is a shame to have such a nice practice and kind staff be overshadowed by a berating doctor.

A few days after leaving a less than perfect review I got a call from Michelle in Dr. Green’s office to find out what went wrong and inquire if I wanted to give the doc another try. Michelle’s concern seemed heartfelt and I really appreciated her call. I’m adjusting my review higher and while I probably Wont return there myself I think he might be a fine doctor for someone else.

I’ve been to Dr.Green’s for only a handful of times, but I’m always made to feel comfortable and taken care of. Front desk staff and others are kind, organize, attentive, and always on top of things. Even when the doctor was a bit late, which was unusual from the other times of been here, someone made sure to let me know, they apologized (even though it wasn’t necessary), and asked if I needed anything like a water. During my appointments, I’m always felt heard and seen, especially if I have any questions or concerns. Plus, I’m typically in and out of my appointment pretty quickly. I highly recommend Dr.Green’s office for any of your dermatology needs!

Dr. Green is an exceptional doctor and dermatologist -both for medical and cosmetic procedures. He is also THE leading doctor for treatment of vein disease, which is the reason I went to him so many years ago -for spider veins on the back of my legs. He was honest with me and he was realistic with me about the proper treatment -where there seem to be so many charlatans who advised laser treatments -which would not solve the problem. He was correct and I’ve been happy for many years with the results. Since then, he has been my trusted doctor for any skin problem or enhancement that I have been interested in. His office is warm and responsive and always accommodating. Highest marks.
