Simple lite meal for one. $10 frozen margarita on a hot SP day by the beach with some grilled corn on the cob. Mex menu looks decent. There are quite a few MX food options around the area and would want to come back here next time to try out the mains. Happy hours is daily from 3-5pm.

I Went for breakfast at Alma the other day, have ro say the atmosphere and setting was amazing. The new look really stood out a refreshing change for a mexican restaurant, much more classy. The view was hard to leave, food and service 5 star.

I do recommend to come here if you want to eat good Mexican food . Jalapeño poppers are spicy , be careful ;) however , very tasty . Kindly staff recommended me to order fish tacos. I can honestly say it was so yummy . Will definitely come back with my girlfriends , as they have handsome staff in the restaurant ;)

Coffee is a good blend but only shines depending on who makes it which is unfortunate since the owner has spent the money for state of the art equipment. Perhaps better training is needed. The eggs with guac dish although using high and fresh ingredients just doesn’t work together. Fennel seeds was really out of place. Not to mention was left with a pool of liquid at bottom of takeaway box which was quite odd (see photos). Great location and concept just needs abit more tweaking.

This place was amazing. I’m on holidays with my friends and we came here for a last meal before we go home. I’m so happy we chose this cafe. The menu was great, with clear pictures of everything and lots of options to make the meal best for you. The food came out in adequate time. The staff were very friendly too. I’m happy with the price I paid for my meal too, I am so satisfied. Oh and the location is stunning. Highly recommend.

Great location,Nacho’s and calamari are perfect. 🤩 😋 but my friend and I are disappointed with the chilies margarita’s taste like just water and chilli I don’t know if they forgot to put tequila on it.😏

Cheeky date night on the beach and stumbled across Alma’s. Got a table easily, great service from staff. Good spot to watch the street life go by.

Great experience at Alma! We were visiting GC for a girls trip and Alma was on our list of where to go for food. The food, service and location was great. Meal sizes were generous and cocktails were amazing! Will definitely be back for our next holiday 🤍

We had a lovely breakfast at Alma. The St Ali coffee was good and our breakfasts were served exactly as ordered.. lovely, friendly staff. Happy to recommend. 😊

Let me just tell you - Alma is where it’s at. Their drinks are so refreshing before or after the beach - try the coconut margarita (best one I’ve ever had). Specifically ask for Joe to make it. Cara was our waitress and she had the biggest smile on her face the whole time. She made our experience here so much more enjoyable.

The food was very average, even more so when considering the price. The Jalapeño poppers were nice inside but the batter was really hard which was unusual. The taco’s were underwhelming, our pulled beef was almost cold and lots of liquid came from the taco when trying to eat it.

First time visit for half price taco Tuesday night. Hubby and I shared 5 different tacos, 2 per plate. Usually around $22 per plate, which seems a bit steep for 2 tacos, but at $11 were reasonable. They were all varying levels of delicious. Finished off with hot crispy churros between us. We walked out full for $71. Staff were friendly enough. Service was mostly prompt.

Wow, best halloumi tacos ever! Only issue is the portion sizes are a bit small for the price (the picture has two different tacos serving for two people). However; I highly recommend Alma. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m on the Gold Coast.

Lovely place with great coffee from Melbourne... amazing, good staff and delicious food, and this signature frech juice of Alma is the best. It is perfect for Sunday catch-up with friends near the Surfers Paradise beach. We'll done to the all Alma team!!! Highly recommended to visit it!!!

Ended up going to Alma’s a couple of times because the food was great with very reasonable portion sizes. Awesome location so close to the beach and always had seating, particularly liked how easy it was to order with the QR code and not too long of a wait, even with a big group being served too. Competitive prices given it’s one of many in a row of shops. Would definitely dine there again!

This place is right across from the beach and has good outdoor seating with heating (for the colder months). They also have indoors bar area with a great selection of drinks. The service is A-class - best you can get. Food was of good quality but not very flavoursome. I had vegetarian nachos which was large serve but the guacamole was very insipid and there were hardly any beans in the dish. The mojito, however, was superb!

Really great!! I got the soul omelette, very delicious and beautiful presentation! Loved everything! Highly recommend!!!

My hat goes off to the chef for this incredible breakfast, the soul omelette was so delicious, so many extra touches to make it burst with flavour, avo, feta and sweet onion garnish. I can’t wait to have lunch and dinner here! The staff were super attentive and the location doesn’t get any better with the ocean views - will definitely be back!
