I love this secondhand pawnbroker shop. pennywise has two areas of the shop. One is retail and the other is the loan/sell shop. This business is not a large franchise company and is locally owned and operated. The stores accessibility in terms of location is wonderful, convenient & easy to get to. The store is located in Ipswich across from coles. The front door is not automatic and may limit customers who have walking aids. Public transport options are available near by via train and bus services. The retail shop is always clean and very well presented. They have an extensive range of items available. surprisingly, the shop isn’t overwhelming like some secondhand stores tend to be, when stock levels are high. Yes, the prices are very competitive. This is my go to store, for everything!! Tools, toys, jewellery and so much more it’s just awesome. I have always received the best customer service experience. I highly recommend that everyone go and check this place out!!! You will be amazed, show this local business support and go grab a bargain!!! An additional bonus is that all products can also be found online, so you don’t even have to go anywhere!!

Be careful when buying from this store. Their prices for second hand goods are often WAY ABOVE retail (+25%) and they refuse to negotiate. I even offered $30 for an item which at JB HiFi is currently only $29 and they still wouldn't budge. Do your homework and don't be fooled into thinking second hand automatically means a good price.
