Hotel rooms are disgusting! Very outdated, but worse dirty! As everything close by was booked out we ended up staying despite not wanting to. I went and purchased bug spray, cleaning wipes etc. just to feel ok with it. Probably the cleanest room they’ve ever had now! Does not feel like a safe place at all. Clearly all the money goes into pub. Bistro was good meal and service but I’ll never go back. Do yourself a favour and do not book a room.

If I could give it 0 stars I would. Don’t. Believe the photos at all. Could not believe how disgusting the rooms were, really noisy outside past midnight people were still sitting out the front partying drinking and making so much noise. Rooms are so thin walled, could hear the fights going on. The clientele were questionable didn’t feel safe at all. But the most disgusting thing was that we literally saw cockroaches, walking all over the beds, bathrooms and our stuff it was disgusting. Checked out asap could not stay it was gross!!! 🤮🤢

After chatting to the ‘manager’ well after midnight, she called us “naive” for booking accommodation at a “pub” despite all advertisement calling Acacia Ridge a “hotel motel”. I’m concerned that the manager of this establishment prioritizes the bar over her hotel guests. I have never been so insulted by someone who calls themself a professional. The manager told us to leave if we didn’t “fit in here” and that she can’t help us and that heavy noise will continue until 4am. I am nothing short of disgusted at her attitude towards her hotel guests. Very unprofessional.

Absolutely disgusting! The rooms look nothing like it does on booking.com! I understand this is a 3 star motel but as a mother, I do not want my infant baby on these floors! The room smells like mould & looks like the last people may have done some drug usage in this room. I refuse to stay here & have requested a refund through booking.com that could take up to 5 days. I do not recommend if you have Children!!

The room had mould and a hole in the ceiling the carpets were dirty and the man hole in the bathroom wasn't secure . The price for garlic bread is ridiculous at $9.00 so we got a pizza from next door

the food was great, but the chubby blond girl working on wedn night is really rude and makes ppl waiting inthe line, even though she saw us waiting at the counter she just ignored us and ran off from the bar to clean the tables. The beard chef served for us and very kind , for better business you should really care of the reviews that complains about the foh staffs

Tried to give it ago as it was our local but food is terrible. The vibe is odd for family's no kids area no music feels like it's just there for pokies and smokes and rough pub bandits. Such a shame with right community approach it would be pumping.

Photos hide the horrible state of these rooms. Smoke detector not working, no microwave, no wifi. $120 a night for this is such a money grab. Also music and noise all hours due to location next to train lines. If staying here be prepared for bed bugs.

Do yourself a favour and book elsewhere. Room is old, carpet looks about fifty years old covered in stains. Bathroom was disgusting, floor wasn't even mopped not to mention the banging pipes in the wall when you try to take a shower. Old, grubby mismatched furniture looks like they grabbed it off the side of the road. Beds looked as old as the carpet. We couldn't wait to get out of there. Random pools of water from air conditioners on the walkways outside too, paraplegic event waiting to happen.

Good weekly rates, friendly staff, close to everything you need. Plenty of parking. Pub has great meals at good prices. Cleaner was great, made sure we had everything we needed. Great customer service.

Picked this hotel on the corporate booking site due to proximity to work locations. They're very good at staging the photos to make the rooms look more up market than they are. Unpadded carpet. Painted brick walls. Second single bed hard up against the wardrobe making it inaccessible. The shower was dripping. No natural light. Mobile data doesn't work inside the rooms. Had to put the kettle on the floor in order to plug it in. Bright security light outside the bathroom lit up the whole room all night. You have to wrestle the doors to get them locked and unlocked. Won't be staying here again.

The food is awesome, $19 Steak never disappoints. I really feel for the staff that are there as they appear to be run off there feet, you can wait ages to put on a keno or order food, sometimes there is no one at the bar at all. You can walk in serve your self and walk out again . If you need staff pay for me to do the course 's and I will be happy to help these poor girls out.

I work locally and several time i have seen your Mover Man peeing on the side of the road. this is unacceptable. Please ensure your Mover Man does pee on the side of the road!

Went for poker. Very old and outdated in need or dire restoration. Bathrooms straight out of the 1980's and smell discusting. Freezing cold inside and many had to wear jumpers.

While staying here we were only a few minutes away from where our son needed to be. While staying we were in two different rooms which while the rooms are dated we definitely had no problems with the cleanliness, the staff, and the meals were beautiful. Sorry, but for those who have left very negative responses, Iam really sorry maybe try them again going in with a positive attitude. Sure something's could be better but they don't say they are 5star. Loved the staff, they were so helpful and always went above and beyond to help me with anything I will definitely go back given the opportunity.

Never stay in this dump. You will get robbed, if not worse. Don't support a community of grubs, they all work together.

Can only comment on the food which I was served. It was not cooked fresh, it was microwaved to reheat. The mash was tasteless and the peas were cold and undercooked. I only managed to eat a small portion of my meal. Was totally unappetising. Would I order it again, NO.

I came in to enjoy the meal at the Bristo and didn't stay there. The meals were delicious.

I was there for the South East Queensland Tattoo Expo. The food was plentiful, but the wait was significant - lots of people ordering, so perhaps unavoidable. On the third day the line was long, so I went across the road to KFC. The dining room was ok, but downstairs was dated. The staff were for my and helpful and the drinks range was good. We didn’t stay there, so I can’t comment on the room.

It was ok for a night only. On a good note, we were there for a 21st function and our room was 2 doors from the function room.

Look I can always get a room here ... If it's not booked out .. I don't need a deposit anymore when we stay there , so maybe our names are down on their books with a happy face next to them lol, but it's a fair motel never had any dramas , cars always been safe there too ... Cleaners are decent also ... ..

Your typical local tavern with bars, gambling and restaurant. The staff are competent and friendly. The food is great value and the serving sizes generous. Full range of seating from bar stools, to table and chairs to booth and lounge style.

Room clean & comfortable in the main but pillows always seem past their use by date. Shower screens never seem to be properly on the tracks. WiFi (for accommodation rooms) well & truly needed.

My wife and I visited your hotel today for lunch and decided to spend a couple of hours gambling on the pokies. I cant say how impressed I was with the friendliness and efficiency of Jade, I think that was her name. Could not have been looked after any d better, thankyou. Sincerely John Cullen

Very handy for me because I get paid at 11.30 they close at midnight in bottle shop, staff are always happy to help and they don't shut early unlike other business because they think it's too quiet, I like that. And they have a lot more as in accommodation, pokies, and sit in pub.

Good pub. Had lunch with a friend, meals were great. There is also a $10 lunch menu, good value. Happy staff, good vibe.

Drive through bottle shop, pokies, pool table, keno, TAB, bistro and accommodation. Food is great for the price and staff are friendly. Plenty of on site parking and function rooms available.

We had booked the function room for a wake. The room was presented very well. Tables were dressed perfectly. Staff were not intrusive and approach guests only to subtlety remind us to replace masks between eating and drinking.

Went to drag trivia on Tuesday. The host was wonderful. We had the ribs. Great value for money. But the cocktails were a waste of money, more mocktail than cocktail.

Went to the bottle shop today. Was refused because I wasn't wearing a mask. I explained to the lady that I have a medical certificate. She still would not serve me yet she served the bloke in front of me whom also was not wearing a mask. Doesn't a medical certificate mean anything these days. DISGUSTING SERVICE.

Now I realise why, although living in the area for over 16 years, this was the first time I have gone there. (Seminar). So many other choices around that makes the Ridge look so sad.

Food was very late and not good. Had lunch here yesterday and although we ordered the 3 meals together, they all came out apart. Mine being a full 10 minutes after the first. Taking a full 40 minute from ordering chicken wings to table. One of the table ordered Full rack of Pork Ribs that were ice cold in the middle. Scared of getting food poisoning we left the meals on the table and went elsewhere. Really poor service and terrifyingly undercooked Pork....... No excuses for this one I'm afraid.

Definitely paid less for alot better. Rooms were behind the motel and they were old and stuffy and didnt even have wifi. Only come here if its a last resort.

Acacia Hotel is a great place to stay if you're looking for something affordable. The bistro is excellent and the weekend nightlife is great. The rooms are comfortable and the pokies are cheap. Overall, it's an excellent hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. Thanks Acacia Hotel!

Positive: Convenient and quiet location. Friendly staff. Heap of parking for cars and trucks. Supermarkets, fuel and take away within walking distance. Large bedroom and bathroom, good linen, laundry, bar fridge, kettle and toaster, air conditioning and a comfortable bed Negative: The room has a smell I cannot get ride of, the chairs and carpet are badly stained, lots of marks on the walls, Housekeeping keep knocking on the door at 09:00 everyday which I find too early (I work in the hospitality industry) I ask them to come back later, which still hasn't happened. In the chest of drawers there was some fake nails and pieces of paper left behind from previous guests

I found the function room men's toilets to be a be a bit unpleasant. The cubicle doors were all graffitied on with obscenities for a start, and then there are the toilets. The first one was quite filthy and it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages, so I was quite put off with that one. Both the middle ones weren't even working and there wasn't even anything to say they weren't working. I noticed the second one was leaking, so I tried flushing it to see if it would work, but it didn't. I lifted the lid on the third one and I noticed it hadn't been flushed, so I pushed the button, and nothing happened. The fourth one at the end was quite useable, however. There was also a fairly strong odour coming from the urinal, so it looks as though they don't regularly sanitise it with deodorant blocks. On a more positive note, though, the function room was perfectly fine and the food was great!
