We recently had our wedding at Spicers Clovelly Estate and it was absolutely incredible. They deserve 10 stars out of 5. From the very beginning the Spicers team was professional yet warm. They took care of everything and nothing was too much trouble, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy our celebrations. We received genuine care from every staff member we interacted with. Our guests even made mention of how amazing the Spicers team was. I cannot recommend Spicers Clovelly Estate more highly. We’ve always loved staying here, but they truly went above and beyond for our wedding. Not to mention - the food was exceptional. Thank you for the best few days of our lives!

A beautiful location with such amazing staff. There is no wonder this place is amazing. The accommodation was super comfortable and luxurious, the friendly staff were superb. The food was amazing and a must experience.

Wow!!!! I have no words to describe how amazingly beautiful this place actually is!!!! Thank you to all the wonderful Staff that gave up their Christmas Days to make ours one we will never forget. Fabulous place, rooms nice super comfortable and breakfast is good too, multiple choice a la carte on the terrace, service is hit and miss though. Dinner was fabulous again on the terrace. Mixed up our reservations though...

Booked a staycation for a few days in the Montville Suite and couldn’t fault the room. Absolutely beautiful, we were lucky enough to have a private courtyard as well as a balcony! The property is beautiful and relaxing and of course the service is top notch. Had a lovely time.

We attended a wedding here on Friday - it was beautiful and the staff were excellent! The food was divine - I had very strict meal requirements (low histamine, gluten and dairy free and vegan), and they did VERY WELL! I loved my food and I cannot thank them enough for going to all of this effort for me. Highly recommend!!!

Big benefits include type2 EV charging, outstanding restaurant, beautifully appointed and comfortable accommodation, staff are highly trained and professional at all time. spa treatments and facilities are excellent. Many inclusions which are tiny but add up to the perfect stay. Do not leave without experiencing breakfast on the terrace!

The decision to have our wedding at Spicers Clovelly Estate was a no brainer for us. We have been to Spicers several times before for food, wine tasting, staying, and every time Spicers didn't disappoint. From the moment we toured the venue up until the wedding weekend we were totally looked after and treated as if our wedding was the ONLY wedding they had on all year. When we arrived our guests were treated as if they were the only guests staying on site, that's how welcoming the staff were. The wedding itself went off without a hitch (of course!) the venue was beautiful, the staff amazing, the food was an absolute hit, and we'd do it all again in a heartbeat. When we were hit by an unfortunate circumstance days before the wedding, they went out of their way to ensure that we were looked after and our minds put at ease so that the wedding could be amazing. Massive shout out and thank you to Steph (original wedding coordinator) and Sharayah (current wedding coordinator) for making our day the most special day in our lives! Much Love Team, Mark and Erin

We decided to have the Scones on the Terrace experience. Beautiful surroundings with friendly, attentive staff. The scones were delish, served with jam, Chantilly cream and fresh blueberries and raspberries. A real delight. Something different to try when out and about in Montville. Most enjoyable. Treat yourself to this experience.

My sister and I have just returned from a stay at Clovelly. I must say I didn't want to leave. The room was beautiful, the food just amazing and the staff fantastic. So kind and friendly and can't do enough for you. The views are superb as well. I would recommend it highly. Thank you SO much for making it a memorable stay. Quite simply, perfection. From the moment we stepped foot on the property we knew this was going to something special. We only live 10 minutes from Spicers Clovelly but we couldn’t think of a better place to celebrate our 21st wedding anniversary. Rachael greeted with us with sincerity and two glasses of bubbles in the garden. She suggested we make our way to the deck overlooking baroon pocket dam to watch the sunset. Alex showed us to chairs by the fire pit (blankets for our knees on the back of the seats) and poured us each a generous glass of wine. He very kindly chauffeured us back to our room where we had a chance to relax and freshen up before dinner. Hannah greeted us at the restaurant door and while we waited for our table she made (and we enjoyed) a couple of perfectly hand crafted cocktails in the sofa. At 7pm Alana told us our table was ready. She look after us for the rest of the night. She was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She made us feel very comfortable and seemed to know what we wanted before we realised it. Then the food. Oh. My. God. The food. Five star all the way. Well balanced, thoughtful and uncomplicated flavour combinations. We’ve dined a few Hatted and Michelin Star restaurants over the years and very often the hype outshines the food. I’ve lost count of the amount of disappointing dinners we’ve had where the chefs have used too many ingredients in a dish and the food looks beautiful but ends up being over complicated and nothing shines through. Expensive and gravely disappointing. It all just ends up tasting flat and grey. This is certainly NOT the case at Spicers Clovelly. From beginning to end. Exquisite. The flavours, and the plating, fresh, bright, and clean. Kudos to the kitchen. One knockout was the sweet potato dessert. I’m still thinking about it. Alana was right. It was incredible. Our room was perfection. Clean as a whistle, comfortable, and plush. Turndown service with handmade chocolate pralines? Yes please! We WILL be back, and we will tell friends, family, and strangers on the street how impeccable Spicer Clovelly is. Well done. Courtney, Alex, Alana, Hannah, and Rachael you are a credit to your organisation. You all deserve immediate pay raises. Our visit to Spicers Clovelly was utterly delightful; the cocktails were delicious, food was exquisite and the whole experience was relaxing but refined. The service in particular was impeccable, in keeping with a luxury experience. We can't wait to go back.

My First High Tea with Spicers after trying many great high tea experiences over the years I was looking at all the reviews and I was excited, sadly it was most disappointing, staff were fantastic, ambience lovely but the food very disappointing, we received no pot or cups of tea to enjoy with our high tea, warm dishes were cold, pastry dish the meat was so dry inside it was disappointing, sandwiches were of an unusual texture and flavour, no special crockery, and nothing to suggest it was a special event. I had hoped for more 😞.

Special shout out to Margie and the team for going above and beyond to organise a special picnic for my partner and I. They made her birthday celebration a truly memorable one. We were only there for the afternoon. But we are definitely going to stay next time. Thank you Margie!!!

The stay was absolutely incredible. We are always welcomed warmly and Margie made us feel at home as soon as we arrived organising a drink in the garden for us while she sorted our room. She was lovely throughout our stay including our check out. Alana was so lovely and made both our dinners and breakfasts enjoyable and relaxed. Her knowledge of the wines and her relaxed and yet professional manner was excellent. Geoff the chef is a maestro. The food is incredible. David was also a stand out during our stay. Thank you all for a brilliant stay. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely incredible experience from the moment we walked in. We were greeted by the team in a very friendly manor. This followed by being seated in reception on some very comfortable couches. Being able to wait in comfort and have a drink, whilst our table was prepared, made our experience so relaxing & comfortable. Every aspect of the food that came to our table was presented beautifully with flavors we had both never experienced. Truly amazing 10/10 to the kitchen. Serving intervals were also timed perfectly from entree, to mains & dessert. David, our waiter, was clearly dedicated to his professionalism. His interactive service delivery excelled in every aspect you could ever ask for. After our dinner and dessert, we were invited to take a seat back in reception (lounge area) where the staff organized a complimentary chocolate & cognac (we got married the previous day) so this was a nice way to kick off our honeymoon.
