The team at Bentley were incredible at being able to take the stress out of engagement ring shopping. I had a pretty specific ring design which they were able to bring to life. My first consult with Dave was very informative and comforting. He truly listened to what I wanted yet was able to guide me around aspects that I hadn't entirely considered. I gave them a pretty difficult deadline which they nailed even after having staff away sick. Amy was very easy to correspond with throughout the process which was also quite comforting, especially as the deadline edged closer. Whilst my design was rather simple, their craftsmanship was absolute perfection. My fiance and I couldn't be happier and will definitely be back for our wedding bands.

My partner and I were looking for an engagement ring but we’re completely new to the idea of getting quality. We knew we didn’t want something that everyone else would have. We walked in and we’re greeted by the lovely Tereza and were taken through the process of designing our own ring and what to look for when purchasing a diamond by Dave. Incredible experience with Bentley De Lisle from the very first moment of meeting the team. The team showed SO much patience and reassurance as I flustered my way through various ideas in mind. Dave spent over an hour and 45 minutes before we (I) finally chose our amazing parti sapphire and had our design finalised. The staff are incredible, great knowledge and no sales pitch just advice and solutions. The design for our engagement ring came out even better than we'd imagined, and to design something from loose stones to final piece was really nice. We came to Bentley De Lisle for a remake of my wife's engagement ring using a new centre stone and reusing the existing side pears. Frankly, the entire process was amazing, and I strongly recommend Louise, David, Amy and the whole team to anyone in the market for diamond engagement rings (don't let Bentley De Lisle's penchant for coloured stones or art deco put you off - they are flexible and were completely across and open to both contemporary and traditional designs). David and the team customised the design of our ring in a way that got us the best of both worlds in terms of aesthetics and practicality. It felt like we didn't need to compromise on design choices that would otherwise, for example, create an unsightly gap between the engagement ring and wedding band. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that the team takes progress photographs and videos of the ring being made, which results in your own personalised gallery of the process. The ring was ready earlier than anticipated, and a little bit of coordination with the Bentley team allowed me to surprise my wife with the new ring mid-holiday on Noosa Main Beach. We got the sense that Bentley De Lisle care deeply about their product an their customers. We're also turning the old centre stone into a necklace - I will update once complete.

From things like getting little video updates on how the ring was being made, to really taking time to go through the details of choosing the right stone and design, it all made for a memorable and delightful experience.

It has been hard to translate this story to "paper" and even harder to express my sincere appreciation and thanks to Tereza, David and the entire team at @bentleydelisle. We live in Brisbane, and with my planned proposal date fast approaching (5 days, with a flight booked to Townsville, early Thursday morning), I contacted the jewler in Melbourne from which I had ordered our custom designed engagement ring, to check on delivery. They replied with a brief email, explaining they had been effected by Covid, and were unable to supply the ring. With most of our families in on my planned "surprise" proposal to Ranee, I was fraught. On a Saturday afternoon, I email @bentleydelisle and Tereza responded promptly. After explaining my situation, she consulted with David and told me they could have the ring ready by Wednesday! She called from the car on the way home Saturday evening to finalise details and design (after I might add, doing a good deed and helping a driver of a car crash out in horribly, rainy conditions.). The team @bentleydelisle worked through the Sunday (a regular day off), Sunday night, and into Monday, to have the ring ready for their stone setter on Tuesday. All working from a single picture I had supplied and telephone communication with myself. The ring they produced was perfectly spectacular (as you can see😊). From start to finish, Amy, front of house for @bentleydelisle kept me updated on progress, with photos and videos of the entire process. It was truly amazing to see the team producing our ring, the love and passion for their work is truly evident at each stage and makes our ring that more special. Needless to say we won't be looking any further for our wedding bands! We will give them a little more notice on these though 😉. We don't have a family doctor... But apparently we have a family jeweler. I can’t thank David and Tereza enough, they were absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of my engagement ring creation. I wasn’t an easy customer as I changed my mind multiple times and David was extremely patient and accommodating. I am so happy with my ring, it’s perfect!
