Northernmost of the southern beaches in the coastal section of Olympic National Park. There is no booth / gate to go through - so you could escape without a park pass. From the parking lot its a short descend to the beach. The beach is just stunning. There are so many rock formations right off the entrance. Plenty of driftwood as well. Unlike Rialto Beach, you donot need to hike to get to the rock formations. I would allot at-least 2 hours to spend on the beach. The parking lot does have 2 restrooms but it smells terrible. I would say Ruby beach is definitely a must see.

We had read about the reason this place was named Ruby Beach. Apparently, some of the sand was garnet colored. We didn’t see that, but it was well worth the stop. Beautiful views! So much drift wood! The hike down and back wasn’t too difficult.

I have never seen such gigantic, menacing waves like I have at Ruby Beach! They are almost scary. 🌊 The trees are towering and the driftwood is enormous. 🌲 It's a fun journey climbing through and over the fallen logs to access the beach. πŸͺ΅ Getting to see Abbey Island and Destruction Island (lots of history there!) was awesome too.. hope to somehow make it over to Destruction someday. β›°οΈπŸοΈβ›΅ The restrooms were small with vault toilets, and the doors do not lock or shut completely. Either have someone outside keeping guard for you, or make it quick! πŸƒ

Ruby Beach was beautiful! In late April, there was only one other couple there when we visited in the early morning. However, I would have preferred to visit near sunset! The parking lot was small and bathrooms are available. The hike is fairly steep but short and it’s worth it.

Travel down the coast of Washington and see this beautiful area. Every beach we went to had different rocks to sandy. This was a rocky beach perfect for collecting a few souvenirs.

Stunning cliffs and coastline. There is a parking lot, a public restroom, and access to the beach below. The beach is only accessible by stairs, but there is a nice overlook that is like a flat wooden deck and has plenty of space.

A beach full of cobblestones and massive driftwood logs of former fallen trees. Parking was easy and a very short walk to the beach. A few scattered stone pillars and a green covered plateau on the shoreline. A pool of trapped ocean water is there for enjoying. Very pretty and pleasant.

Beautiful beach.. it is a nice walk to the north end of this beach … nice pebbles, lots of logs and tree root which will look like sculptures

The parking lot is new and renovated with a lot of spots. Nice easily accessible beach with some pools. The sand is softer here so you sink in, also the hill back up to the lot can be tough for some
