As
a
usual
shopper
with
Marshall’s
&
to
be
specific,
at
the
fairfax
location.
I
understand
and
am
very
well
aware
of
the
customer
service
standard
i
shall
be
receiving.
Unfortunately,
today
(the
date
of
08/05/2023)
myself
and
my
daughter
needed
to
grab
a
few
things
from
marshals
.
First
and
foremost
the
line
was
absolutely
ridiculous
with
just
2
cashiers,
after
approximately
12
minutes
of
waiting
they
had
called
additional
staff
to
come
up
to
the
cashiers.
Upon
arrival
to
being
next
in
line
i
was
called
forward
at
cashier
number
1
(if
i
am
not
mistaken.)
i
had
a
total
of
4
items
,
3
in
which
were
fragile
(mugs)
and
one
luggage
traveling
bag.
When
the
employee
was
scanning
the
mugs,
i
had
asked
her
to
kindly
double
wrap
each
mug
as
they
are
fragile
&
i
do
not
want
them
to
break,
i
also
asked
for
them
to
be
bagged
separately
because
with
it
being
so
fragile
it
can
break
being
all
in
one
bag.
The
employee
frowned
and
said
“
i
know
what
i
am
doing.”
Since
i
was
called
up
&
it
was
my
turn
she
did
not
greet
me
friendly
&
i
know
with
the
marshals
customer
service
employees
usually
ask
if
I’ve
found
everything
i
needed,
in
this
case
she
did
not
.she
proceeded
to
bag
my
mugs
separately
&
as
she
was
bagging
the
last
one
her
bracelet
hooked
onto
the
plastic
bag
which
caused
the
bag
to
rip,
she
did
not
change
the
bag
nor
double
bag
it,
she
handed
the
ripped
bag
to
me.
Lastly
my
4th
item
was
a
luggage
travel
bag.
Per
my
knowledge
each
cashier
has
an
scanner
that
has
the
ability
to
be
stretched
to
scan
items
that
are
heavier
,
such
as
furniture,
chairs
luggage
bags
especially
lf
the
individuals
whom
maybe
older,
disabled
and
or
have
physical
complications
that
may
prevent
them
from
being
able
to
lift
something
even
as
light
as
a
shoulder
bag.
Personally,
i
have
been
involved
in
a
car
accident
&
have
been
getting
treatment
for
the
damages
caused
in
my
shoulder.
In
this
case
i
am
unable
to
lift
anything
that
maybe
heavier.
She
demanded
that
i
lift
the
bag
to
be
scanned
,
she
stated
it
is
not
her
job
nor
her
responsibility
to
help
the
customer.
My
daughter
had
assisted,
although
my
daughter
had
received
surgery
on
the
date
of
(07/24/23)
.
Following
the
item
being
scanned
the
employee
slammed
the
luggage
bag
back
onto
the
counter
which
caused
the
suitcase
to
have
some
scratches
on
it.
My
experience
with
this
specific
employee
has
shown
the
low
standard
of
customer
service.
She
truly
was
not
qualified
to
be
a
representative/employee
with
Marshall’s,
through
the
many
years
i
have
never
experienced
such
low
standard
of
service.
I’m
disappointed
&
will
not
return
to
this
location.
It
is
such
a
shame
to
have
to
be
treated
by
such
disrespect.
