I went on 12/30 1.5 hour prior to close. I've come to this nail salon on 2 other occasions and had a WONDERFUL experience. I feel like the nail tech rushed through the shaping, buffing, and the polish job. I also received a pedicure which came out ok. I called to get my finger nails repainted. I assume they may be closed for the holiday. I'll call again Monday. This is unacceptable for $115 (tip included)

So I waited a couple weeks to post this to see if my opinion would change bc I don’t like negatively reviewing small businesses. Unfortunately my acrylics were terrible. As you can see from the photos they are incredibly thick and have giant mound of acrylic at the base. They make my nails look thick and stubby, I honestly can’t wait to remove these monstrosities when I return from vacation. Save your money go somewhere else.

Jenny is amazing!! I went in and I was greeted by both the lady’s working!The shop is clean and well kept! I was asked if I wanted anything to drink or a snack (other places I’ve been have never done that). I wish I had gotten the name of the lady who did a my pedicure she did a great job she didn’t rush! After the pedicure Jenny did my nails I originally asked for acrylic after telling her about my life style and how I like my acrylic to be on the thinner side she recommended dipping powder which I’ve heard great things about but never tried and she convinced me to do it. And oh boy the dip powered is 100% better then acrylics they are lighter and not as thick!

Jenny at Sparkle and Pop nails always does a great job! I’ve been going here since the beginning of the year and have gotten several mani/pedis or just gel manicures and they’ve always looked great! Highly recommend.

I have been getting my nails done at Sparkle and Pop since before they changed ownership, which was fairly recently. I wanted to write a review with the new ownership especially since I think some of the reviews here are for the previous ownership. Jenny has been very very good with doing my nails. I get a manicure and a pedicure each time. She is very gentle with me – I have extremely sensitive feet! Her massages are heavenly and sitting in their comfortable massage chair is such luxury. I started getting the dip powder for my fingernails. They last a long time – the last one I did was French so you couldn’t see it growing out and it lasted 4 weeks! My nails look pretty and they are perfect. Jenny is delightful and it is fun to talk to her. I highly recommend giving her a call. Great service!

Absolutely love my wine red nails!! Jenny is so good at her job and the service is great. This place definitely deserves more attention, the ginger tea I got was also a plus :) Would recommend setting up an appointment here than trying to get a walk-in.

Jenny did an amazing job, I loved my nails and toes. She took her time to make sure my nail shape was perfect. She also had perfect customer service. Made sure I was comfortable and offered beverages, I also loved her vibe. I recommend everyone to come here. The store is super clean and has every color.

Jenny runs an excellent and highly professional nail salon. I have been coming here for almost a year for spa pedicures and Vitamin dip manicures. I have had impeccable services on every visit. I work in Arlington and live in Alexandria. I travel by lots of salons to get there. The salon gives 10% discounts on all services.

Jenny did an amazing job with my nails, as always. I tried the dip powder this time and I'm in love with the results! Jenny is extremely detail-oriented and makes sure that each individual nail is shaped perfectly. I can't wait to be back!

I come here to get my nails done every 2-3 weeks, and I love it here :) Jenny is so sweet and accommodating, the conversation is great and I always come out with my nails looking amazing :)
