After the reviews, this was the beach I was excited to take the family! When we got there, the excitement went away quick. There were about a million sand flies eating a washed up garden of kelp strewn all over the sandy part . The rest is very rocky. No restroom and no sand-wash station. Probably good for swimmers or surfers or the like, but for wading it was not great. The waters were a bit rough that day (late June). Other better beaches nearby.

Didn't want to leave but the place was jam packed full and after 2 days of our neighbors that had 4 cars, 4 tents a trailer, paddle boards, a kayak, multiple bicycles. Their campsite was overflowing into ours. It looked like a sporting good s store. Not a big deal but too small of a place to deal with that. What a pretty pretty place and totally lives up to the hype that everyone talks about

A hidden gem! Caspar Beach is one of my favorites along the Mendocino coast. Small, quaint little Beach with lots of shells, and plenty of room to explore up the river. Love to come here!

Beach has gentle sloping sand and the cove often has only small waves making this a favorite family location for smaller children. The creek is often much warmer than the ocean for splashing. Limited parking right next to the road and no public restrooms.

Started going there back in the '80s. My son's love it there as they were young climbing around running up and down on the beach such a wonderful place such good memories I love the new little cabins that they have now and the music.

Beautiful beach. Today was raining and we were the only ones on the beach and a little seal swimmed by to greet us.

Easy access, clean, not in Caspar village, across from RV Park.
