He took the time to listen to what I wanted, and he helped me transform my look completely (from long to short hair, as well as a correction from a bad hair color to uniquely beautiful colors). He offered his expert guidance on both the cut and color (per my request), and I was thrilled with the results--my hair looks and feels better than it ever has! Kelly, is awesome, fun and talented! She updated my color and honored my interest in keeping my length and growing my hair to accommodate longer hair. She took her time, listened attentively, offering advice and affirmation of what I was looking to achieve. Since my appointment, I've received many compliments on my hair color! Often from total strangers. Shelby and Brittany, were extremely welcoming and went above and beyond to provide excellent client service. This salon is warm and welcoming and that is reflected in their staff and stylists. I'm very happy with my experience.

My child and I have both visited Bolder Colours in the past month and had the same wonderful experience getting our hair cut and colored. I recently moved to Boulder, and am thrilled to have found Bolder Colours and Amelia. I am very pleased with my color and cut - it is the best I have had for many years since a move from NYC several years ago. The salon is very pretty and comfortable, and the owner and receptionist are both warm, welcoming and genuine. They have a fabulous list of teas to enjoy while you are in the chair! I went to Bolder Colours to have my hair bleached to platinum, starting with about 3 inch of natural root and previously bleached hair clinging to some stubborn orange dye, coming to mid back length. Wendy did my hair for me, totaling 8 hours in the salon, and did a seriously amazing job. She is not only extremely friendly and kind but insanely talented! I will definitely continue to come to Wendy and Bolder Colours to keep my new platinum hair fresh!!
