Went here for the first time last night with my partner. We got there 10 minutes before the kitchen closed and we were still seated, got everything we ordered, and it was all perfect. Our server was pleasant and we were not made to feel rushed even though we were the last people there. Pricing is a little up there, but that's par for the area. I definitely recommend stopping in, anything off their drink menu will be fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about the food we got.

Too much competition in the area to give this place a higher rating. The food was ok but the location is in the back of a parking lot and seating is cramped. The menu was filled with a nice variety of apps, pizzas and burgers. Not a fan of the way they do their wings they were overcooked. They have cauliflower crust pizza as well as red and white pizzas. One of the pizzas we ordered came with this massive bubble that made 2 slices just a bubble with no topping Which they tried to make up for by cutting it in the oddest way. Pricing is commensurate with the area. Experience is important. Here's why they got knocked down to 3 stars. We were 4 big people and they sat us at a small table for 4 even though they had a bigger table and availability. When I asked to be sat at a bigger table, I was refused. When our food came we didn't have enough room to fit it. This wasn't helped by having our apps and entrees served at the same time. Wait staff was overwhelmed. The obviously did not have enough staff to support a busy game day. Waitress kept joking about the wait which didn't help matters. The person who served us our food very unceremoniously just plopped everything on the tiny table. The host was not busy and rarely helped the staff. No one came to check on us or offer us a free drink to compensate for the exceedingly long wait. Apparently they do a healthy take out and delivery service, which they're too small to support.

A friend told us about this place and we loved it! The food was excellent, good beer selection and great service! We only got appetizers and they were awesome. Chicken tenders are yummy! So are the wings and fries. I will be back! Oh and just a good old milkshake rocked!

The service was the Best and the food was delicious! I had scrumptious lobster bisque, a Mexican street corn salad and a very large portion of super creamy Mac and cheese that was served in its own cast iron skillet which kept it hot! The booths are xtra large with really comfortable seats. Thank You!

We enjoyed a great Sunday night dinner. The restaurant was busy, but we were able to be seated right away. Buffalo chicken dip with pita dippers was excellent - lots of crispy melted cheese on top and creamy dip underneath. Highly recommend! I ordered the Tiramisu boozy milkshake - sooo good and huge, had to decide between finishing that or my meal. My husband and I split the beef Shawarma and the Smokehouse Burger. Both excellent. Not a lot of restaurants are open in the area on Sundays. Definitely recommend stopping here next time you are looking for one as we were.

Tavern fries are amazing. The chicken Parm special was so good, best chicken Parm I've ever had!

We made the mistake of choosing to eat outside on the strip of "patio" pavement the use for outdoor seating between the road and their parking lot. Cars would back in right next to us and sit and rev their engines. But a great location. Food was only fair. Really nice server though. Pulled pork Mac and cheese was average. Lobster bisque was very good.

Very good choice of craft beers. Load of options on the menu. Pizzas with cauliflower base are an EXCELLENT healthy option. Very good service and reasonable prices. Outdoor seating area is good but just off the parking lot. Well recommended.

Best pizza in town! The music and overall energy was amazing! Definitely a great spot to indulge in high-end pub-fare and wood-fired pizza. We ordered the Pizza Bolognese, it was perfectly balanced and so delicious, straight from their wood-fired oven. Our server was awesome, we never had to ask for another round of drinks because as soon as our glasses started getting empty she would ask if we wanted another round. She also checked back with us multiple times to ensure that the quality of our food and experience was up to par. Downtown City Tavern definitely exceeded our expectations and we’ll be back for more delicious pizza and craft beer as soon as possible!

I stopped by in the middle of a long drive for dinner just before the dinner rush. I was seated and served quickly. I had a delicious burger and salad. I asked for a topping substitution which they were happy to accommodate. The staff were wonderful. Next time I stop in I hope I can stay for dessert. It was very tempting and I wish I didn't have to hit the road. I'm definitely keeping their location saved. It's great to know of a great spot to eat in an unfamiliar area. My FAVORITE place for wood fried pizza. Small space but food is worth it EVERYTIME!!!! Wings could be more crisp but the drinks are amazing and the pizza is the BEST

Very short wait to eat inside at busy dinner time on a crazy hot day. Worth 10-15 min drive south of Lake George Village. Had a lot but we parked in municipal lot and walked a short block. Great lobster bisque. Really good Mac and cheese. Solid burger and pizza, fair prices.

The food was hot, richly flavored, and well timed. My boozy milkshake was yummy, French onion soup was delightful, my burger was tasty, and the fries were hot crispy and delicious! The server was friendly, fast, and hospitable. I will be back.

A very quaint bar with delicious food. The service was top notch. The French fries were delicious per my son, and he is a French fry connoisseur.

Delicious food and cool atmosphere. This bar and grille is tucked away and easy to miss. Our table ordered the gyro, poutine, and pizza. All were absolutely delicious. While we were there, a group of drunk 20-somethings showed up. They made more noise than everyone else in the bar combined. Thankfully, and without prompting, the staff told them to quiet down. If you are in the Glens Falls area, I recommend you give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

I wanted to visit this place because everyone is talking about it. Nothing special, just one more regular bar with bar food. Food was really good, they had couple kraft beers, I really enjoyed it. Atmosphere was just nothing. I would be back for food definitely.

Waitress wasn't professional, she walked away while I was still talking to her. We got our food after 45 minutes. We asked to get the food as they get ready, we even told her we are really hungry, but we got them all at once. Food wasn't too good and wings were awful.

Always enjoyed this place but last 2 trips were awful. First one got our order wrong twice. This most recent trip the pretzels were black with 0 salt on them. The buffalo chicken dip we got to was put in aluminium foil. Who puts dip to go in aluminium foil? Dont think I'll be back again. Sorry to say

I usually order for pick up every 2 to 3 months. It’s always the same thing. The chicken bacon ranch Mac n cheese with the garlic oil fries. It’s always been great until last week I ordered it and they clearly changed the Mac n cheese. The chicken was so much bigger that you couldn’t get it all in one bite. Then the fries were plain, there was nothing on them at all. They were terrible plain. They did manage to give me mayo for my fries. But I will not go again due to the changing of food.

A gem in disguise. Great food. Beef Schwarma was excellent, fresh, flavorful. The wings were the best I have had in a long time. Hand crafted burger was fresh and cooked correctly. Wait staff was friendly and on point. For an early lunch, the place was packed. Highly recommended. Bring an appetite!!!

The Medusa pizza was so good and I loved the amount of vegetable toppings that were on the pizza. On the other hand, since the pizza was only 12 inches, the ratio of toppings to slice combined with the oil and sauce saturation made it difficult to pick up a slice. Nevertheless, the quality of the pizza was outstanding and it felt like a true NY style pizza, plus the crust was fresh and tasty too. The wings were decent; the habanero sauce wasn’t really that spicy to me, but nothing ever is in the north. A noteworthy mention is the side salad. The salad ingredients were super fresh, the plethora of grape tomatoes was a welcome feature that combined very well with the creamy green dressing they gave me. As far as side salads go, this was one of the best I’ve had in a long time. 10/10 would recommend

I randomly stopped by this place for lunch with a friend, and I don't regret it at all. The service was excellent, and so was the food. I strongly recommend the tavern fries. It was slightly pricey, but the food was good. Definitely check it out if you happen to be nearby.

Head there for the pizza and then branch out and try their fries, burgers, and more! We continue to head to DCT for a quick meal and continue to be impressed with the rest of their menu! Also, the staff, no matter how busy clearly tries to meet every demand. If you are looking for a good pizza or tavern food, I highly recommend you give Downtown City Tavern a try!

A little run down and the low lighting and ceiling stifles the atmosphere but there is a buzz and plenty of sport on the screens. The food is so-so but the selection of craft beers is excellent. Service was efficient and friendly.

Our server Kelly was amazing. On top of everything and very attentive. The tavern fries are great! The spinich and artichoke dip were unique and top notch!! The boozy milkshakes are ONE OF A KIND!! We tried 3 different ones out of the 4 and the Tiramisu one was definitely our favorite. The flavor was so shockingly on point. Just blown away and extremely happy with our choice to randomly dine here tonight! I will definitely be back!

The starter plates weren't clean. There was bits of food on them. When the wait staff went to find new ones over heard them asking why they couldn't find any clean ones. They brought out completely different plates from the back room. The menus had food all over them and we're sticky. The food was very bland. There was little to no seasoning on them. They did not prepare our food to our specifications. The only good part was the air smelt better then how our food tasted. The wait staff was very nice and attentive.

We had a wine and a craft cider with our pizza..... didn't like the quality of the mozzarella on the pizza but the crust, sauce and basil were fabulous!

A little gem in downtown Glens Falls. Loved the beer selection and tried a hefeweizen that I plan to go back for. My burger was delicious and my friend's mac n cheese was a meal for 2. We also experienced friendly, patient service. That was much appreciated!

Been going here for years. Great food, nice beer list that's always changing. The Figgy and the mushroom pizza are terrific.

Great menu selection, friendly and accommodating staff. The staff was balancing take out orders and the flux of people coming in to dine as the covid restrictions let up. Meal wasn't fast but due to the circumstances we were very patient and staff checked on us all the time and kept our drinks refilled. Thank you all for your services.

Great service, and delicious food. Went to lunch and got an appetizer of the Buffalo dip and it came out pretty quick. It was the best Buffalo dip we've ever had. The food came out perfect timing. It was also delicious. The service was quick and friendly. Highly recommend.

Overall good food with some opportunities to go from good to excellent. The wood fire soft pretzels were very good and well baked with 2 options odd sauces. The woods fire margarita needed more cheese and a bit better seasoned tomato sauce. Finally the tandoory chicken could use a bit of balance in the gyro to give it a heartier taste.

Amazing food, wonderful staff. The best wings around. Seriously some of the best pub food you will ever have, and they are always consistently great. They are always friendly and welcoming, but bonus points to them for their incredible service during COVID. We've driven from NYC for fresh air, a hike, and a box of wings on more than one occasion now. We are happy to support a great small business that shows they care about their staff and customers saftey, and takes this seriously, while still delivering us delicious food.

We are out of towners, first time here. Our friends, from the area, picked it, for the main reason that it had outdoor seating. I would say, overall, all the food was excellent. Would definitely go there again. However, our waitress was one that takes the whole tables order without writing anything down, which always makes me nervous. I don't remember a time a waitress like that got it all right. Needless to say, I think my husbands order was the only thing she didn't get wrong. My friend asked for no onions but got them. Her husband ordered a salad with his chicken fingers and got french fries instead. They gave him the wrong dipping sauce and I order pulled pork and got chicken. I really wish waitresses would not not do that. And as always, then I have to wait for my correct food while everyone else is eating. Other than that, we had a great time, and like I said, the food was great!

Very healthy choices for whatever you're getting! The pizza was better than anything I've had before and the fries were so original with spices and olive oil! Very very pet friendly with a few vegan options and a couple things that could be made vegan. They have indoor and outdoor seating with a great street view. I would highly recommend checking it out while in Queensbury.
