Regretted signing a lease the day we moved in. Don't be fooled by the amenities and pictures, management has allowed the once nice building to be completely trashed. The carpets in the hallways look like a crime scene and since the AC never works, it smells like one as well. Packages are locked in a room, but you can never find someone to open it or security has lost the keys. Maintenance will ignore your requests for 2 weeks. Construction across the street goes on 6 days a week (starting before 7am) and if you are a female and use your balcony, you will be harassed and catcalled. It costs $100 to have a guest park overnight. I could go on and on and on... Meyer's Group and the employees do not care about you and don't back up any of their words with actions. Move literally anywhere else.

Update: I received an email from management after this review regarding the guess pass. Let’s hope for continued improvements :) I’ve lived here going on 2 years in hopes to see improvements. Other the the location being close the the beach and airport I don’t have a lot positive things to say. Management is NOT responsive to emails, but I see a quicker response to google reviews. Although everyone here does NOT clean up after themselves that is not managements fault. The trash is usually overflowing out into the hallways which is an ongoing issue. The hallways tend to smell because of this as well. Guest parking is NOT convenient!! I’ve sent management 3 emails on a way to obtain a guess pass (because approval is needed prior) and I STILL have NOT received a response. If the office is not open you have no access to letting a guess stay over the night, forget if it’s on the whim. I’ve only had one Maintenance issue within my apartment (it’s a new building so I wouldn’t expect anything less) and it was handled within the same day. (Second star is for our maintenance guy) Prices were jacked up. Elevators have been out of commission at times. You will hear a lot of construction noise as they are still building up the area.

I wish the employees of the unit a happy New Year, and to Miss Camila the good and light attention to the summonses that we have had in 615, thank you very much for everything.

I love it here, it feels like I live on a resort. You can see the hard rock light up every night from my apartment. The lobby smells refreshing like citrus, the security greets you with a smile and a warm welcome. The staff here is friendly and very helpful. Since new management took place, the manager Margarita have started having monthly community activities. She’s been sending blast emails to let us know what’s going on in the building. She keeps us informed. The pool is crystal clear and they keep it clean. What’s not to love?? . The amenities are breath taking, the gym overlooks the pool. Everyone here is friendly and this is a pet friendly community.

Finally, I decided to write a review. We lived in Avery for 2 years, the first year we was lucky to saw a wall with water in the jacuzzi for a couple days. After it never worked 😁 For 2 years, the cinema room, which is always shown on the tour, did not work. In 2 years, I can count the days when the jacuzzi worked. There are always a lot of issues in building , I wrote letters to the management, but they never corrected this issues. One ellipsoid in gym always didn't work, it's always very dirty, especially in the yoga room. The water filter needs to be changed, it was changed after 4 months. Water was flowing from the ceiling in the yoga room, I think it still hasn't been repaired 😁 Then for some reason they closed the billiard room. The grills are always dirty, and then they were also completely closed, as if for repair, but it was a very long repair. It's always very dirty by the pool, either from dogs or from iguanas poops, the water was changed in the pool can be once in 2 years. On the ground floor on the right side there is always a lot of garbage in the trash room. In 2 years, I've seen a lot of garbage there many times, and the door was broken for a long time. Once I almost stayed there at all, the door slammed on the other side, it was good that it was a day, and I was able to call the management to open me. Take care! There stolen motorcycles on the garage, and from my friend, too. And two neighbors The management always lies that this is the first time. They told me personally that it's not their responsibility, figure it out for yourself. And even when I arrived for the deposit, the ceiling collapsed at the reception 😬lol So building is crushing 😅 I see that the building was painted with beautiful graffiti outside. But it's just a beautiful wrapper, there's chaos inside. All my neighbors also left this building, because the management doesn't care about the problems in building. In the first year, 1 month was free, but in the second year the rent was raised by almost $500, it's terrible. So by the way you decide to live there or not , but I recommend to check same new other buildings at this area, and same price Sorry it’s short message, I would like to say more. Oh , most important thing, that be attention when you choose apartment there, because my friend move in , and he had fleas in apartment 😨 I was there and it’s crazy, all my legs was bite So about positive facts - that’s close to airport and nice area with shops. And management return full deposit then we move out.

I really do not like leaving bad reviews, but I cannot wait for my lease to end. Management has always been kind to me, but otherwise I do not like how the building is managed nor do I enjoy the building anymore like I did when I moved in. The walls are incredibly thin; you can hear everything from children constantly screaming in the courtyard, dogs barking, people and TV’s talking, cars and construction, and yes… the low battery beeps from smoke alarms in vacant units. There are zero consequences for people who leave the building a mess with their pets; as a pet owner myself, I would be mortified if my dog took a dump in the garage or urinated in the elevator, and would clean it up promptly. Aside from a single letter being slid under every tenent’s doors warning about the pet policy, I have yet to see a major change in peoples’ habits with picking up after their animals, especially in the “dog park,” which is a small corner area of turf with a fence so small that my frenchie can easily hop out if she tried hard enough. People don’t watch their kids, either. A couple of teenagers went around the building banging on peoples’ doors like the FBI and running away. The elevators work maybe 50% of the time. The amount of times the elevator’s been shut down have increased since I’ve moved in; I’ll give them benefit of the doubt with hurricane season causing power difficulties. Which, by the way, we appear to have been lied to about. We were told before signing the lease that there were generators for the property in the event of a power outage, and a storm weaker than a tropical storm caused the power to go out for an hour+, and there are comstantly moments where the power will go out shortly without a storm at all. If you read other reviews, you’ll come across one complaining about sexual harassment and catcalling from the construction workers across the street. That is still actively occurring today. I do not feel safe enough walking or driving by the front of the building after a period of two straight weeks of being catcalled while walking my dog. Nothing has been done about it despite the women who work in the lobby also getting harassed and complaining about it. If you’re a woman, definitely do not move here. Another review also mentions the nasty hallway carpets—they have no budget to clean or replace them, but they have the budget to do construction on the garage and force their tenents to either park across the street or risk car damage? Don’t expect to be able to use the tap water for much of anything. There is no water softener for the building and the tap is so yellow that I don’t even let my dog drink it. There is no filter on the fridge either, so you’ll have to get your own or constantly have to buy plastic bottles. Maybe this is just me, but I also cannot stand how my clothes felt after washing them; I keep a large stock of baking soda purely to combat the hard water in the machine. I have a filtered water bottle as well as a removeable filter for the showerheads. You also should not expect to have a surprise visitor and not have any problems. This place is far from guest-friendly. You need to go down to the office and hope that someone is around so you can give them a $100 money order (that you need to ask them to return, otherwise they will not do it when you return the pass) to get a paper for the dashboard and a tag for the security gate that may or may not work the first three times your guest drives all the way up to it. They also only have so many to give out; if they run out of tags, then you’re SOL. The units themselves are quite nice. There are some design flaws like with the master closet door hitting/being blocked by clothes that you hang up too close to the doorframe, but otherwise it’s enjoyable enough. Way too much money for what it’s worth, however, in my opinion. Nearly $3K per month for a 2 bed 2 bath when a little over $3K a month can get you an entire house in a gated community not far away at all from here.

Recently came in for a tour of the property. Love the apartment I viewed, the location is second to none, it's new and modern. However, the deal breaker for me was walking through the hallway and it smelled like STRONG animal urine and the carpet was filthy. No doubt pet friendly.

Let me first start out by saying that if it were possible I would give a 6 star rating to the management team here under the guidance of our new property manager. Today I was made to feel special and important not only as a customer but as a friend as well. The entire team focused on me and my needs and made sure every question or concern was not only given importance but also fixed on the spot! They are truly an asset to your company and to my home here! They epitomize professionalism with a big focus on making us feel as if we were truly their friends or family. I wish other companies served their clients with 1/2 as much courtesy, respect , and efficiency of how they do here. Thank you entire management team Avery Dania Pointe! Sincerely….Khaled p.s. I don’t normally like to speak ill of people but the previous property manager had to be one of the most unwelcoming and unhappy people I have ever met. I purposely would avoid the management office while she was there.

Good location and pet friendly however that is where some May take issue. The hallways have an interesting smel and I end up holding my breath half the time in there. If they would clean the carpets more often or tile the floors this place could be very nice.

The best property you can live in. The office is super and the maintenance is super nice with the residents. I recommend it 100%.
