Great spot to launch your boat ! Safe ( B.S.O. Keep a good eye on this location) I noticed they have a few boats there makes it a great choice in my opinion. Also close to my home and business. * weekends it gets packed, keep in mind. I believe all ramps are very similar in that regard. So I would recommend this location. Great for dropping in the tinder or if you’re going to use the ramps , be sure to use them properly, I suggest come early! Weekends will be packed ( and yes parking will fill up rapidly. ) it’s a a block away from my business *Complete Yacht Detailing and Management , Pompano Bch 33062 . ( love the fact I can drive my boat to my clients locations , especially during rush hours! ) great for my routine cleaning and monitoring for my customers vessels on a regular basis. Convenient location to light house point, pompano, Hillsboro mile and harbor drive !!! Makes my work much more enjoyable and efficient to arrive to there location with out taking up any parking space, and I can work from my boat to detailing / ceramic, or routine wash in 1/2 the time as I wound if I used a float , ext . It’s my 1st choice for location and convenience ! See you there ! And the broward sheriffs office in Marine patrol keep a close watch on my suv . Never a problem there . Only on the weekends it can get busy as do all of the ramps ! 5 star for me ! And my little 19.5 Yamaha jet boat is a breeze too get in and out of the way ( no wake , or props , keeping my manatee friends safe , ) they should have more hoses or a spot to get ice ( get your provisions aldi/ or Publix. fuel ect beforehand at shell on fed hwy and 14th . Enjoy!

If you like to go boat watching, This is the place to go. it's right by the 14th street causeway. My girls had a nice Sunday afternoon watching boats pass by and play in the nice playground. They even have exercise equipment for adults to use. While your children play, why not get a workout in. LOVE IT

Awesome space with a few boat slip for your boats. There's also a cute kids park and beautiful water views and plenty of parking.

Plenty of parking and a nice playground for the kids to let some energy out. A few picnic tables by the water under the shade of tall pines make a nice spot to chill and hang. The best part, the pompano Beach water taxi was there to pick us up and take a short ride northbound.

I have using this park for my boating always, even my closest Boca Raton ramp much closer and almost free for me. Reason for it : always very organized, clean and secure. Thank you very much for all people who take care for this park.

I’ve been using this city park for years. We board our dive charter boat, the O’Sea D of Parrot Island Diving when she comes round the corner an ties in to the ample pier. There are also 2 large boat ramps for you lucky boat owners. All of this is free, as are the drawbridges, courtesy of the City of Pompano Beach. The city funds the park by charging you to park. There is a huge pull-through lot for cars and trucks with trailers. Passenger cars park in a standard parking area that runs along 14th street. There are 2 kiosks to pay for parking in 15 minute blocks with your credit card. You can also download the Passport Parking app to pay for parking— also nice if you need to extend your parking session. Don’t try to cheat on your parking fee — you will get a ticket. There are also restrooms, a small play area for the kids and a grassy area to curb your dogs. Enjoy!

Lots of space. Very close to the inlet. Only ten dollars a day. Also has a water connection on the west side of the lot for engine wash. Also safe. You can leave your car and not have to worry about a break-in.

Price is currently $10 on weekdays and $15 for weekends for boat trailer parking. Cars are about $1.25 / hour. There is no charge to launch a boat if you don't park. I've been launching boats here for decades. They keep the ramps well maintained and clean of algae.

We use this boat launch often. There is normally a police presence, so it is very safe and free of homeless. There is a nice playground for the kids. The new docks look fantastic and we like that they have multi-level for different boats and accessibility. The bathrooms are well-maintained.

Relatively clean, even for the bathrooms! I enjoy the scenic overlook of the intracoastal, and parking is not too bad of a price per hour. Wish it was bigger and had a walking trail of some sort, or that the construction would finally finish so that would free some room up for walking, but otherwise no complaints! 😊

I went on a Friday evening and it wasn't busy. Easy boat launch. Parking is $10 for a full day and if you don't pay expect a $50 ticket

I good place to get your boat save in the water....has new docks, which looking great...multiple Ramps....not too crowded, cause of that.... I like that it's close to the Hillsboro Inlet and ocean.... Also nice playground for kids.... Park ranchers helpful.... I recommend this place, if you want to go for a trip to the ocean and don't want to wait long to launch your boat.... F.W.

Dock is currently under construction, so the ramps are more hectic than usual. Beautiful new playground right on the ICW. Lots of meter parking. Can get crowded on weekends for boat trailer parking, so plan ahead.

    Great ramp, ample parking.

  • 3/5 Saltwater S. 2 years ago on Google
It's a good ramp and has alot of parking. The reason I only give it 3 stars is because of the price. I am a Pompano resident and should be able to get a yearly parking pass. Yearly passes are not available even to Pompano residents. I guess it is what it is.

Excellent boat ramp only 100ft from the Intracoastal. Mostly empty during the week, but may get busy on the weekends. Clean bathrooms. Paid car and truck with trailer parking available.

One of the Best around. Easy in and out, wide ramps. 5 min ride to Hillsboro inlet at slow speed.

  • 3/5 Michele D. 11 months ago on Google
Easy to get in and out of from the street. The docks are nice and easy to access. The meter where you pay wasn't working at first, the park ranger came over and fixed it long enough for one of us to at least pay, then it was out of paper so we couldn't get a receipt to put in our car. The app on my phone wasn't working kept saying it timed out, and then all of the sudden it was counting down time. No one else could use their apps, we were instructed to go to the other side and pay. It was a big inconvenience as we where scheduled to be on the boat by 10 am for a one year memorial for our family member, making it difficult to keep our schedule. I heard from some of the other guys there that this happens all of the time. The attendant wasn't very nice about it either, acting as if it was no big deal, and knowing our situation because he was there going through it with us. Told us if we got a ticket it would be $45. Although we started off saying this is great, it ended up a a parking disaster. Not a fun start for what was already going to be a hectic day!

Beautiful place to go unwind. You can bring your boat and get going and simply enjoy a day of fishing or just watching the scenery. They have a wonderful kids playground for a mayor plus. There's lots of shade trees, and a few park benches. All in all we enjoyed ourselves.

Pay machines suck, ramps are great, easy in and out. Police need to stop people from going through making a wake

Great ramps, yes RAMPS. Nice and wide, well maintained. Plenty of parking (pay by phone). Roughly $10 for 24 hrs on cars, roughly $13 for vehicles with trailers, trailer out by 7:30 I believe

Back in the day this ramp used to make a fun day watching trucks slide into the water. I just used it for the first time in 25 years and it seems decently maintained now had no issues picking out my boat.

Great little hole in the wall waterfront bar/restaurant. Friendly staff, with fairly quick service. Seating is a little cramped but the fellow patrons are mostly polite and neighborly. Great place to have a beer and burger and look out over the water 💦
