Bathtub beach is awesome if you have young kids or want to go into the water and not worry about the tide. The reef is a great barrier and during low tide creates a shallow pool, which is why it is named bathtub beach. Parking is very difficult most days and is very limited. It does have a gazebo, one shower, and a bathroom.

This beach gets packed. It’s BEAUTIFUL. The water is warm. Be careful because there are rocks on the ocean floor. It’s in the back of the Marriott resort. Many don’t know it’s here but those that do, know it’s value.

Found my new get-a-way beach. This great little beach is tucked away from other busy beaches. The ocean was the perfect temperature and the sand was clean and soft. It was not crowded which is nice and there were family with children enjoying the serenity of the peaceful shore. Plenty of lifeguards to ensure the safety of visitors, showers to wash off and a wooden gazebo where you can sit and have a nice lunch. Parking is limited so get there early. I've read that its a nice place to snorkel but unfortunately the ocean was rough today due to yesterday's storm but I'll be back. Bring the family, pack a lunch and come enjoy one of the best kept secrets on the treasure coast .

One of the most relaxing beaches where you can get away from crowds with your dogs. We love walking all the way down to end and back while looking for seashells. There are so many at this beach. There is a reef here so the snorkeling is great! The water is a beautiful green-blue color. On a calm day we have seen many paddleboarders out with no waves and it does infact look like a beautiful bathtub!

A Handicap accessible beach!! YES, YOU READ THAT CORRECTLY! There’s parking with sidewalks accessible for wheelchairs. There’s an handicap accessible overlook with a pavilion and sun deck. The beach is perfect for new and casual swimmers. The reef creates a lovely pool and sandbar.

Beach is wide with hilly beach. Sand is coarse (shells). Very clean. Sections of the beach have nice shallow waters for children so it's very popular. Also near the very end of Hutchinson Island. A rock reef off shore breaks with waves ... Very pretty.

One of my favorite beaches. When the tide is low, you can appreciate the shallow water and small pools are formed making it safer for young children. Water visibility also becomes crystal clear. Great beach to find all size shells.

I absolutely love this beach. It's my favorite πŸ’– The water is the most beautiful ocean blues. It has a live worm reef so don't walk on it!!!!! Keep Florida shores beautiful and wild life safe, always clean up your trash people's!

Beautiful beach with reefs for snorkeling. Also nice for families with small children and floating in the calm water. Today, there were several sharks seen and the life guards got everyone out a few times for safety.

Bathtub beach is our favourite go to beach. We've been going since our children started toddling (now grown up). Safe and clean. Ideal for families. Beautiful area and ocean view housing. Would love a holiday home around here.

Perfect spot for kiddos with the flat beach and shallow water! There are bathrooms that are fairly clean and a good amount of parking but still suggest that you get there early on popular beach days in order to get a spot! Definitely a go to beach for families πŸ–οΈ

Found a late bloomer! This baby green sea turtle was struggling on the shore & I rescued him! FL FWC officer came & took it to the marine wildlife rehabilitation. Then I found this huge shell! What a wonderful beach, even on a cloudy & cold day!

Absolutely breathtaking in its natural beauty! High tide and low tide offer completely different beach experiences, but both are magnificent. It is a great place to swim, snorkel, walk and sunbathe. The sand contour changes constantly -- I've never been to the "same" Bathtub reef beach twice.

Supposably this is a great beach for snorkeling, but it looked like it got hammered from a hurricane this year. A lot of erosion. There was a purple and a yellow flag up so we didn't go in. The Purple flag is because there is some creatures in the water you shouldn't be swimming with like sharks or jellyfish. Yellow flag is usually a rip tide or rough water. Maybe we'll try again next trip.

It was closed and the life guard was not there so it was not fully safe. The shells hurt my feet a bit but it was still cool because I saw a shark 🦈. The water was warm on my feet and there was big pile of sand to run down which was fun. If the beach was not closed and stuff it would be a 5 star ⭐️. I would still recommend to come here when it opens

Beautiful beach! We stopped here to cool off briefly and enjoy the sea. It has enough free parking spaces. The beach is very beautiful and suitable for swimming.
