Visited with a friend of mine who is from out of town. We both had extremely high expectations, but unfortunately they fell short. In our opinion spas are relaxing places, this was like an adult water park. Pros: check-in was efficient, facilities were clean (pools need to be swept for bugs), and the smoothies we had were yummy. Valet included with spa service. Cons: No drinks or food allowed inside the facility (bring your water tumbler empty so you can fill up) Getting yelled at constantly by staff is not peaceful or relaxing ( no shoes, no shoes no shoes, or you can't have water here). Extremely rude (pool areas), the spa area people were much kinder. You'd think at a spa they'd had fruity water, nope. My service (massage) was peaceful and relaxing, but in my opinion not worth the two hundred something dollar price tag which includes gratuity. Also, I confirmed on two separate occasions that I wanted a female, but was shown a man for my massage. Thankfully, another client suited with me (this should not have happened in the first place) We understand that their are rules in place, but as a business you must remember that the customers you serve are paying and they need to be treated with respect. At this point we wouldn't return.

Best Spa day ever!! This SoJo Spa Club is filled with so much to do! I book reservations here with my Fiance for her birthday present & am so glad I did because it was also a present for me lol 😂 There are many hot tubs & saunas to experience. The pictures don’t justify the amount of other things to do when here. They have different types of additional services one which we did was the Japanese Volcanic Sand Bath, which was such a relaxing elevating experience! I highly recommend SoJo Spa Club to any adult looking for a day to reset one’s body & mind.

The facility is very clean and relaxing with all the tubs. My 2 friends and I had a wonderful time, and the food was beyond tasty. The staff was extremely friendly on top of all the other cool things about this spa. I hope to return before the end of the year. My body is surely supportive of that decision!

This place is amazing! I didn't know what to expect because there's not much to go on since pple don't really tell you detail about their experience! I'll tell you...this place is amazing! I thought I saw enough until I walked into the cafeteria and saw they had a mud pool! What?! The only negative thing I have to say is that I did not book the entire day and a night at the place, will definitely go back.

Excellent facility, and everything was great from beginning to end. The entrance was a little bit complicated because you have to go in and take off your shoes first. That inconvenience quickly became a benefit because the entire place is spotless locker for the shoes and then the locker for your personal belongings is the same wristband and that is very clever.we try the food at the cafeteria and surprisingly it was excellent. The soba salad was great, the pizza was fresh with nice cheese, and the taco Ramen was very very good. Overall definitely recommend.

Great overall experience. Called the day of to make a reservation for 3 deep tissue massages, since I was unable to make the reservation online (have to make it at least 2 days prior if booking online) - note this is on a Friday! They were able to get all 3 of us with a 5:30 appointment. The deep tissue massage package included free valet and complimentary 2 hours to use the facility (saunas, pool, etc). This being in January it was very cold outside, despite this the pools were all heated. The massage was great, the masseuse was very accommodating and the ambiance and the overall experience was very professional. Highly recommend this place for rest and relaxation. Pretty pricey, but I think it was worth it. 18% gratuity is automatically included with the massage service.

I recommend this place to relax! Everything is very clean and beautiful, all the pools and saunas are in perfect condition! There is a restaurant where you can have a snack, the prices surprised us! I’m very glad that we spent the whole day and had a lot of fun!

The couples massage was amazing! Those ladies have hands sent from Heaven! The prices did go up a lot from 3 years ago. It’s a little over crowded in the weekends I highly recommend going on the weekdays. Overall great experience.

Very welcoming. Also very clean. They have a nice variety of pools and saunas that are unmatched! There's a work area which is nice but who wants to work at a spa but still available if needed. No outside food is allowed unless you book a room there, food is a tad pricey, but good and good quality. Less crowded on weekdays and mornings. This place is professional and has a beautiful view of New York but also has an eye sore across the street! Definitely an awesome experience and I would return.

Very welcoming from the entrance and had a detailed guidance in the check-in counter. Although it was a little inconvenient to walk around in socks, I did enjoy the visit overall. I wish there were some clear instructions on the shower buttons as how to turn on hot/cold water. I liked the infinity pool and especially the Hinoki bath! I hope the lounge area right outside the infinity pool was a little warmer. **Highly recommend getting a 30-minute foot massage! I am not sure if you could choose a specialist, but if you can, I suggest getting the massage with Lucy or Olivia!

SoJo is the best place to spend a few hours and even a day when you want to disconnect and feel rejuvenated. I’ve come with friends and also solo. The last time I’ve come was on a late Sunday afternoon. It wasn’t crowded at all. I usually start off enjoying the baths and saunas in the ladies room before getting the salt scrub. I highly recommend the scrub because I always leave with soft skin. I then get some lunch which is pretty healthy and make my way up to the infinity pool with awesome views of the NYC skyline. It’s a bit pricey but I believe we all deserve to splurge on ourselves from time to time.

The perfect gift for my husband. He loved every moment that we were here. There are so many pools from cold to hot that you will be relaxed for hours. From the lobby to the lockers, we were impressed by the customer service and cleanliness. Oceania was quite friendly and took care of us at the reception desk efficiently and professionally. Everything is immaculately spotless. The views are panoramic of the Hudson River and NYC skyline. The food was affordable and quite tasty! There were many vegetarian options. My only recommendation would be to serve thinly sliced French fries instead of thick cut. The premises is tastefully decorated and you definitely won’t feel like you are in New Jersey. Instead it feels like a fancy Icelandic getaway. We left feeling very relaxed from all the hydrotherapies and water jets.

This place helped me enjoy the spa experience. What stood out to me was the abundance of security in the female spa zone, ensuring a cellphone-free environment. Despite some discomfort caused by people bringing phones in, the security staff were accommodating and effectively addressed the issue. The infinite pool, diverse sauna rooms, and the restaurant's food quality were also highlights. While acknowledging the high cost of this sauna/spa facility, I believe it's worth a visit. However, the steep price (over $100) gives me pause when considering a return. p.s. : The earliest entry is 30 minutes ahead of your scheduled time.

First time at a spa and glad it was SoJo. Everyone was extremely helpful in getting us ready. Loved that there were always fresh towels ready and multiple free cell phone lockers near the pools. The saunas were amazing and scorching hot. Make sure to drink your fluids. While the infinity pool is a must go for photos my favorites were the pools on level 4 to just chill and enjoy the water jets. Shame the volcanic sands were closed but hopefully they'll reopen soon. You won't regret coming here.

A great way to spend a relaxing day! I especially enjoy going there in the winter, definitely amazing experience to soak in warm water in the cold! I normally spend the whole day there, best way to pamper myself. They have Hydrotherapy Pool, silk pool and Carbon-Rich Bath. I love all three of them. I also enjoy the sauna in between the pool. There is a quiet room with comfortable lounge chairs that I can take a nap in the afternoon. There are variety food choices for lunch, a bit pricy but still in reasonable ranch. Sometimes there are promotions for admission with message package.

This was such a great day of peace and relaxation. I visited here with two of my closest friends for a day of relaxation and it delivered. The facilities were very clean and well kept. It is very organized and I felt secure. The only aspect that was odd was the no shoe policy. Which I don't disagree with but would have liked a sanitizing foot bath for all to make me feel better. But they do offer socks and flip flops for purchase. The massage pool, hot tubs, sauna, and infinity pool were all great. Although a little more populated than I expected their COVID-19 precautions were in place. The staff was attentive and helpful. Definitely going back in the near future

This place is huge!! A lot of attention is given to details. I like the welcome video explaining spa etiquette. The variety of pools and saunas are unmatched!! You can spend the entire day here, which i plan on doing next time. There's a work area which is nice in case you have to sneak in a work meeting in between dips. No outside food is allowed. Food is a tad pricey, but good and good quality. Great for a girls day or date day, just please be mindful of the pda!! This place is professional!! I didn't experience any shady business. All in all it was an awesome experience and i would definitely come back.

OMG! I went here for my birthday. This place is spectacular! The staff is professional and friendly. The food, although pricey, is really very good. There's a nice variety of offerings. There are so many saunas and outdoor baths and pools that I'm not sure I got to all of them! I got there at 11 AM and left at 6:45 PM and still didn't feel like I spent enough time there! It was over an hour drive, but well worth it! I will be returning!

This is my third visit at Sojo over the course of 4 years and I still love it every time! An incredibly clean facility, which to me makes me 10x more likely to feel relaxed and comfortable. Bathhouse is extremely clean with many amenities (wet and dry sauna, cold plunge, 3 pools, stand up and sit down showers, changing room, getting ready area equipped with large mirrors). The spas and saunas are great, wonderful view of the city, many seating areas to relax in a quiet environment and good food options as well. Fresh towels throughout the facility, as well as lockers for your phones and water fountains near the pool and sauna areas. One time admission fee and you can stay as long as you’d like. We arrived at 10AM and left close to 8:30PM, a day well spent! Cons: The cost of the spa services in my opinion are not worth it. Also, as the spa becomes increasingly more popular the busier it becomes with limited space in some of the saunas and pools. Highly recommend a weekday, though it still may be busier than expected.

The most amazing day. The facility is extremely clean. Someone is always cleaning at all times. The staffs are very polite. The food was so delicious. Honestly better than restaurants food I had in NYC. I especially liked the different pools and spent 70% of my time in the pools. I also had the body scrub. It was little rough but that was expected. The grandma was so cute and I really enjoyed the body scrub and massage that was followed by the real milk rinse. Super happy. Thank you

I came here for a spa day with my mom and my sister and I absolutely loved it. It’s definitely worth coming just for a nice peaceful, relaxing day enjoying the pool and the saunas. The food is absolutely amazing and the atmosphere as well. We did not stay at the hotel, but we did enjoy the massages as well. I did get a massage and it was absolutely amazing. I would definitely recommend getting a Massage.

Differently pure bliss at SoJo Spa Club - indulge in hot springs, saunas, pools, and luxurious treatments like nothing ever before experienced in our lives. Pay for one hour and enjoy the rest of the day..... most definitely recommended, and if I were you, I would book your day spa right now. We will be coming back again! Miami needs SoJo over there... Daughter and Mother's day out like never before. Thank you so much SoJo, for the best day ever!!!!

Definitely a place to relax. Very serene and quite. They have a barefoot policy all around the spa except outside areas. All pools and hydro spa pools are included with the admission rate. They offer extras like the deluxe Korean body scrub, massages, halo therapy and volcanic sand treatment. They have an eating area with a variety of selection. Definitely a place I recommend. It only took us 25 minutes from Astoria Queens.

The absolute best experience and is worth every penny you spend. It’s multi level and is such a great escape from the city. It has saunas, baths, massage pools, cold plunge, heated pools, and relaxation rooms. The Infiniti pool looks onto a beautiful view of the city skyline. The food in the restaurant is absolutely amazing and taste fresh. Completely adds to the experience. Services are separate from day pass but you will feel completed even with just a day pass. Definitely check it out!

One of a kind spa with breathtaking views!! Definitely on the pricier side but worth it for a special occasion or couples gateway It does get pretty busy on the weekends and they are strict when it comes to bringing outside food and drinks. Plan to stay the whole day for a worth it experience. The experience itself was lovely, with plenty of relaxing activities, as well as indoor and outdoor activities. I also got the Korean scrub and it was amazing! The disappointing part is that it rained that day so we were never able to access the outdoors and their famous infinity pool. Please check weather before going because they won’t provide a refund or credit if it storms.

Beautiful views of the Manhattan skyline, this place was bigger than I expected with outdoor hot tubs/pools including a hydrotherapy pool, carbon bath, silk bath, and infinity pool, also had many saunas including a Himalayan salt one that I really liked, infrared, black charcoal, and ice room. They had a hot stone sauna and hot stone area which I thought was cool. We didn’t do any of the add ons since we felt there was already enough to do. We saw people getting volcanic sand baths, where they were buried in volcanic sand and we might consider trying that next time. The food was good, note that this is an alcohol-free place. You do have to remove your shoes and walk barefoot-which I found off putting and a bit unsanitary, but they do give you disposable plastic slippers for the bathroom areas at least. My BF and I came here around 11am on a Saturday in July and it was already crowded at check-in. The pools and baths weren’t too crowded at that time, but I noticed that more people seemed to come around 1-2pm and the infinity pool started filling up. We also took part in a complimentary 60 min yin yoga class, which was nice (and unexpected). I would visit if you can spend a decent amount of time here to get your money’s worth. I’m sure the views are gorgeous at night as well

This is a state-of-the-art spa on multiple floors. It offers several dry and wet saunas, pools including an infinite pool on the top floor with views of the city. I am fond of their foot massage water pathway and very hot saunas, the cold water tubs and of course, the amazing views. Since I started going there it has become popular and more crowded. It is squeaky clean. They do have spa etiquette signs that clearly state non acceptable behaviors. Most of it is enforced. - which is great. My only two improvement suggestions are: 1. State clearly at the entrance of saunas that opening the door and standing in the entryway is NOT ok. The temperature is clearly stated outside each sauna and there’s no need to keep the door open and comment on how hot it is. 2. Enforce keeping the voice volume to a considerate level in all indoors areas. After all one of the purposes of going to the spa is to relax and loud mouths in a confined space, defeat the purpose.

Phenomenal! Clean and relaxing for sure! I went with my friends for my birthday and wasn’t disappointed one bit. Tons of pools and beautiful scenery. Even though it was a lot of people there, it was still spaced out enough that no one felt bunched up. Definitely going back, just with my husband this time!

A fun experience to do once! I gifted my spouse an experience here for her birthday, but overall, we found it overpriced at 140 per head. Plenty of different types of saunas and bubbling baths, but there’s only so much you can do without finding it repetitive. It’s really crowded on the weekends even though we came early. I think my spouse described the vibes here best - “this place is an influencer’s dream”. SO many people posing for the camera, particularly at the infinity pool, where the view of NYC was not as expansive as you’d see in photos. Multiple friends told me the food was good, but I’d have to disagree on that count too - it’s made to be “inoffensive” and therefore, quite mild and bland. There’s plenty of staff around, but I’m not sure why no one is cleaning the pools/baths especially as it gets dirty towards the later half of the day with hair and random dirt. As we were leaving, we unfortunately had a bad interaction with a service staff member, which left me with a sour taste in my mouth. I don’t come to the spa expecting to be yelled at, ya know? Overall, its a pretty cool spa/bathhouse experience, especially since I’ve not gone to many in East Asia, but you’re not missing out on a crazy amount if you don’t go here.

Book the 9am slot (especially on weekends)! We did, and we managed to get most of the pools and saunas to ourselves before the crowds poured in. SoJo spa club is beautiful, well maintained and a great place to relax! The volcanic sand bath was so worth the extra cost, it is a brilliant experience that pushes your body towards a final dose of relaxation. The food is tasty and they have a great variety as well - we tried the sesame chicken and tofu rice bowls. We spent about 5 hours here including the check-in and check-out and covered all the saunas and pools. Overall it was a unique experience and so much fun to do with your partner or friends! There is free parking available just a short distance away or there is valet parking in the spa itself for $15.

Clean, relaxing, beautiful. The 158 bus from Port Authority gets you there in 20. I booked a massage and it was fantastic, enjoyed the spa (with very few people in it!) right at 9:30. Highly recommend anyone go Mon - Thurs at 9 or 9:30 (opening times) to get an empty place. The saunas and jacuzzis were amazing, food was good, staff was great.

This mega SPA is truly impressive. You can either valet park for $20 or park for free down the street and walk. Upon check-in, have your ID and card ready for a security check. You'll be assigned a locker and a wristband, and you'll need to remove your shoes before heading to the gender-specific locker room to change and store your belongings. Signs on the wall indicate the services available on each floor. The establishment has 8 floors with various amenities, including saunas, foot water spas, hydro pools (hot and cold), a gym/yoga room (extra $5), a food court, a co-working space, a quiet room, and a rooftop. It's exceptionally clean, with employees constantly cleaning. Bring a change of clothes, swimwear, and comfortable footwear. Extra services can be accessed by scanning your wristband. The employees are friendly, attentive, and helpful. Personally, I enjoyed the Gabankyoku room other rooms temperature range of 170-190F. The pools have working jets and offer relaxation and health benefits. I spent the whole day here, engaging in various activities and enjoying the delicious food from the fast-service and reasonably priced menu (entrees range from $17-$24). There are plenty of indoor and outdoor seating options. Don't miss the opportunity to take a photo by the infinity pool, which offers stunning views of the Hudson River and Manhattan. One drawback is the absence of cellphone charging stations, so bring your own charger. I recommend visiting on weekdays for a less crowded experience. I visited on a Monday, and it wasn't overcrowded. You pay at the end during check-out, and there are self-check kiosks available. The two-hour drive was definitely worth it!

My friends have been coming here for years and recommending it but we never went until this week and I am SO disappointed that I waited this long to go to SoJo because it was FABULOUS. They are meticulously clean. The pools are perfect. The vibes are so zen. Even the food was delicious and an option for every diet. If you like saunas, resort vibes, hot tubs and pampering yourself, you will love this place! Side note: it’s a barefoot facility or bring shoes that are only worn indoors.

I think overall this place deserves 5 stars. It’s probably the largest and more complex spa I’ve been to, with some unique saunas like the ice sauna or Himalayan sauna, then they have some additional amenities in the back of the courtyard that include the silk pool, a white cheddar pool and the rocks pool with CO2 bubbles… aside from the typical jacuzzi area and dry spas. The cafeteria deserves more than 5 stars, the food is very tasty and the menu comes with plenty of options. I’ve never seen such a great restaurant in a spa building. The Volcanic Sand Bath it’s a wonderful experience, despite of coming at an extra cost of $30 per person but it’s absolutely recommended! Same with the Halo-therapy that comes at an extra cost of $20. The locker room and women baths come with additional interior jacuzzi and additional indoor saunas. This place has many things to offer! Other things we saw but didn’t try were the Korean baths and the massage area. A couple of cons would include not being provided or allow to were flip flops, which I might understand it can be for therapy reasons but I didn’t feel very comfortable walking up and down the stairs on the cold tiles with cold feet. Other than that, I certainly did not expect so many people on a Friday. So, I would certainly recommend any other day of the week that’s not so close to the weekend, for a more quiet and enjoyable experience! Some people lack the respect when going to a sauna and start talking despite of the place requiring silence. We went from 2pm-9pm, so I imagine these were peak hours when everyone was there. Booking early in the morning and plan the whole day there might be a better option. While you can’t bring food or drinks, you can bring a book or your phone and just relax on some of the quiet areas with comfy chairs. The price for the saunas and jacuzzi is decent ($100 during week days). However, the moment you start to add extras the cost can increase considerably. I would say $100 for the entry + $100 for food and extra amenities are worth it to have an immersive experience! Also, we didn’t know the parking was free of cost and we parked on the street, but they offer free parking and a valet. Due to the unique areas and variety of saunas and jacuzzi it has to offer, I rate the place as 5stars and highly recommend it! Perfect place for a brain detox not far from the city with great views of the skyline!

Celebrated my anniversary here and we had a great time. There is a lot to do and enjoy. The place is enormous, very clean and organized. The staff was very welcoming. We loved the saunas and the jets. Lunch was also delicious with a great menu to choose from. It does get crowded as in any place near NYC but they keep the areas super clean and organized so it didn't feel uncomfortable and we were able to try everything.

If you need to wind down and relax, definitely consider visiting this top of the line Spa facility. SoJo has got you covered, setting the stage for the most relaxing experience you could ask for. From a valet service, swift and smooth reception, cashless services, clean and spotless facilities, amazing views of the city and Hudson, helpful staff, wellness treatments all the way to a fast and easy checkout. Come in early to avoid the crowds (even on weekdays). Make sure you plan your visit to allow you enough time to enjoy the wide selection of pools, saunas and treatments available. While some require a reservation and would cost extra, the day pass gives you access to an amazing selection of facilities. About 30 minutes away from Manhattan (by car, taxi). Prices are on the high end, this is expected at this level of service. Surely you will feel this is money well spent for your (or a loved one's) wellness.

This is an amazing place to relax. You can experience it alone or with friends. It has tons of things that your body will appreciate. I would love to show you the inside but I can't. They have cellphone restrictions. Which is cool so you can truly let your guard down and be free to relax. Without any distractions from the world. Take my advice and check it out. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! I added photos of the outside :)
