Small sandwich shop near Fawcett hospital- super friendly service! They have tator tots! ( yummy) We had Philly cheese steak sandwiches Also I had to get the soup- per many reviews (chicken and dumpling soup today- haven’t tried it yet)

First time. Ordered a 9” philly cheesesteak - it was delicious! A lot of meat packed into a pretty good sub bun - peppers were just right and cheese was melted thoroughly. Tasted great! The a la carte garlic bread, $.50 an order toasted to perfection was a capstone to a fulfilling meal! Try it out - Sams Subs is a treasure! PS: Restroom was spectacularly clean as a whistle!

Very good food. Thursdays they offer chicken and dumpling soup … just like my grandmother used to make in Texas! And their sandwiches are delicious.

UPDATE: try their hamburgers!! Delicious 😋 So here’s my critique. And it’s not about Sam’s. It’s why after hearing all the great comments from my wife & friends it took me two years living here to try them 🤦‍♂️. Don’t be like me, go check them out!! Staff is super friendly. Stopped in for a quick bite. This is a very friendly sandwich shop. The workers seem to be well known and liked. I felt welcome and was nicely greeted. I had a fried chicken sub. Overall the sandwich was good. I may be mistaken but the chicken seemed to be frozen chicken fingers and not fresh chicken cutlets. I prefer fresh chicken for sandwiches from a sub shop. But, the people are nice and the restaurant was clean.

Quality subs, family atmosphere, worth the stop. Went with Sam's Special and let 'em choose the fixings... Subs are 8 and 12 inch, bread is super soft, place is nice and clean. If you're passing by and the stomach is rumbling, make the stop. Soup or sandwich, everything here is made with love.

Locals know about it. Is a good place to eat. Love the service. Quality food. Lunch is the busiest time, maybe 10 15 minute wait time. Thank you

Went in today first time ordered the philly cheese fully loaded definitely the best the philly I have ever had definitely recommended will be back.

Best hamburgers in the Port Charlotte / Northport region. Absolutely delicious!! Friendly service and good prices. Ignore any bad reviews below, totally unwarranted. This place rocks and a salute to the Military!! 5/5 stars all the way. Mom and Pops are ALWAYS the best for homemade food quality and taste, not overpriced bland corporate chains. Parking can be tight. We will return soon.

I use to go there when my mom was discharged from the hospital. She would say can we go to Sam's for subs? I always enjoyed the atmosphere and the smile it use to bring to her face. Mom since past 5 years ago so when passing there on her anniversary I said I'm going to stop. Same great place, food still the best the staff funny and polite and what fond memories I had sitting there remembering Mom and what a special trip that was for the both of us.

We had a chicken philly, a hambuger sub and tots. Hamburger sub had great quality meat. Was sloppy, but was good. Chicken philly was not to my liking, the chicken was a chopped up chicken breast and the chewy gristle was not removed. Maybe cheese-whiz for cheese, but not sure. Bread is pretty good though. Tots were not crisy anymore by the time we got home. So fixed that by putting them in the air fryer.

Always consistently Delicious!!! Our go to is the Philly Cheese Steak warp and fried Mushrooms. Today we had seasoned fries as well. Ordered pick up. Everything was perfect!!

I ordered a bacon chicken sandwich, and it was so delicious! I've lived in PC for a long time and never ate here. I changed my pharmacy and Sam's is right next door. Believe me, next time I get my script I'm ordering another sub! YUM!

Glad I found this place! Just ordered lunch for my staff through Doordash and was pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect! Will be ordering from them in the future.

Super super great authentic subs guaranteed to be 6 inches or 12 inches to the 16th I’m telling you! Not only are they great and freshly made but the staff is such a friendly mix of beautiful women and props to ever make those things in the back salute 💯 straight gas

Really awesome people with a fun attitude and great home cooked flat grill food and more. Subs are a great choice all of them are rockin. Classic deli style hole in the wall feel with genuine hospitable service. Just go have fun try it out you will love it.

Place clean, nice and simple atmosphere. My first time there, I ordered to go, food was good . Fries a little over cook , but it’s ok! Next time I will come back to try philly steak Sub.

Probably one of the best Reuben sandwiches I have had. The boys absolutely love the Philly cheese steak… the food is consistently great every time we go!

Bacon cheeseburger sub or gyro is always a good choice, but I got the fried chicken sub today and that was awful. Literally just chopped a bland chicken patty and threw it on there. No Mayo, Just hot lettuce, I’d recommend skipping that sub. Not good at all. Everything else I’ve had is good. Soup is excellent.

Food was good and employees are friendly but a little pricey for a neighborhood quick bite sub shop!

Enjoyable food & made fresh & it might be a wait it depends on the day and time but it's worth it plus they also support LGBT even better okay I see yall come stop by if haven't!

Another great sub from Sams. Today had a 9”tuna with bacon. I have never had a bad meal at Sams Subs. Everyone who works at the store to delivery personnel are great. If your looking for a great meal you have found it. Thanks guys.
