Wow I just moved to Sarasota and have figured out the food trucks are the hidden gems of the city. The tacos are absolutely freaking amazing. Better than any restaurant and cheaper. Quick fast service in and out why does fast food exist when they have fire tacos? The only problem I have with this place is they don’t have more than one location. They need to be everywhere. I can’t wait to go back and I’m sorry I don’t have a picture to post because I eat them so fast because they were that delicious

I wasn't Sarasota for work and my workers told me about Fire Tacos so I had to give them a try for lunch. Let me just say omg! These tacos are fire.. I had the AL pastor taco and the Al Pastor Torta. The meat was so flavorful and very generous on the portion I could have made two tacos out of one easily. The torta is huge it is on a French bread not a talera but w.e. It was really really good just a little too much tomatoes my sandwich was really soggy in the middle of eating it but I didn't even finish the whole thing because I was super full I will definitely come back here again the horchata is delicious highly recommend

Truly fantastic! My favorite tacos I’ve ever had. Fresh, authentic, excellent quality, and very reasonable prices. The serving size is generous too! There’s plenty of goodness in their tacos. They do not skimp. My personal favorite is their shrimp taco, served with pico de gallo, red cabbage, your choice of sour cream or mayonnaise (I HIGHLY recommend the mayo), fresh cilantro and salsa verde. It’s a perfect workday lunch. I always stop when I’m in the area. They have Mexican street corn served in a cup and it’s so flavorful and delicious, plus it’s a massive amount. Their consommé is to die for. The chicken tacos are phenomenal. Make sure to try the pastor! Basically anything you order will probably be the best you’ve ever had. Quick, friendly, and inexpensive! I look forward to going as often as I can. These are literally the BEST TACOS I have ever had in my life, consistently. The plating is great too, served with grilled onions, radish slices, a roasted pepper and a lime wedge. They also have amazing tortas and burritos. It’s good for the soul! I really, really love this place. 10:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Saturday. Go! Go now (or when they’re open next)!!!

Stopped here for a quick bite… the food was made to order and service was speedy. The food had a lot of flavor, especially the salsas and the birria broth (consomé).

This is one of the best taco places I've ever been to in my life. I was working nearby for 3 weeks, and I went 6 or 7 times. I'll probably go 45 minutes out of my way to eat there again. If you've never been here, you couldn't be missing out any more. Food is delicious, and it's CHEAP!!

I have been going here weekly for over 3 years now. Still the best Mexican food I've ever had.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but If I’m being completely honest, it was one the worst burritos I’ve had in awhile. The meat was super salty, chewy with little to no cheese or beans. It was also the smallest burrito I’ve gotten for $12. I get burritos to satisfy my hunger but I’m still hungry. Maybe stick to the tacos since it’s called Fire tacos lol

I’ve been going to Fire Tacos for the better part of 7-8 years. It has really gone downhill the last 2-3 years. Just bought 4 corn tortilla tacos and large nachos. All 4 corn tortillas with my tacos were horribly stale. Could bare bite through them. The edges of the corn tortillas were inedible. Furthermore, they only put about 1 tablespoon of meat inside and barely any cilantro. On three of the tacos, I took the meat off and ate it on the side of chips I ordered, which were also stale, and threw the corn tortillas in the trash. The meat front he taco literally only fit on 1 chip each. The place was packed and I think that’s part of the problem. They’re so busy, they just don’t care anymore. I won’t be back and now I search for another taco truck. Such a shame. This place used to be off the hook.
