YUMMY YUMMY. Sumo roll was REALLY good. I had the 🍤 Shrimp & Tuna, he has the steak and scallops. Fried rice was good. Not overkilled in soy sauce, very tasty! Atmosphere was good, other couples made for great company. Sam was a fantastic server. She was attentive and VERY efficient when attending to needs at the table. Our cook was funny, had a wonderful dinner, by no means disappointed.

Absolutely delicious as well as entertaining!! Great environment, friendly staff and amazing food. Eat in take out whatever you need it's available. Sitting at the hibachi grill and having your food prepared in front of you is awesome. The chefs are so talented. Or you can just order at a regular table minus the show. Either way please come in and experience this treasure.

A great hibachi grill, food was outstanding and our waitress was very nice, although it took around 15 minutes after we made our reservation for our table to be cleared. That's not a huge deal. But the cook was fun and engaging, and we barely realized an hour had gone by. A wonderful place for a celebration, romantic dinner, or just to indulge in a lovely night.

I had an order of Dragon Roll as an appetizer which was absolutely fantastic. As the main plate I had Chicken and Shrimp Fried rice with vegetables as opposed to double rice. The order of fried rice came with a Clear soup which tasted amazing with a side salad with Ginger dressing. The salad I wasn't a fan of due to the amount of liquid in it. The fried rice too was amazing, even more so with the Yum Yum Sauce. I tried the Blue Hawaii as an Adult Drink and it was really good. Over all the experience was great. I would 1000% recommend and its definitely worth the price.

Chef put on GRT show! Super friendly as always! Reason no 5 stars= I added a take home dinner "from the kitchen". Usually gd if u don't have time to sit. Miscommunication or a dyslectic waiter is the only way it turns out like this... Everything asked for was 100% backwards & wrong! Making it literally the worst meal I've ever paid for & thrown directly in the trash..

This was a nice night out for my son' s birthday and our chef was the Best! Great food and service in a comfortable and beautifully unique atmosphere to share and spend time with my family.

Awesome experience!! The service was amazing. They were very fast and I never had to ask for refills, boxes, the check, anything. They were always right there with that I needed. The chef was hilarious and kept us engaged all night. Definitely the best Japanese steakhouse around. Thanks for the great food and overall experience!

If you’re in Cape Coral this is the best Hibachi you’ll find. There are other for better prices but you won’t be as good quality or show. I used to go for dinner and the show often; wasn’t usually disappointed. (Happened occasionally just cause I went so much.. it happens. They’re human) I now sit on the dining side for the lunch special and get the same plate in faster time 🍽️ And love it! I recommend.

Would def recommend the chicken and shrimp hibachi! The miso soup and shrimp tempura appetizer was amazing! Would def come back! Fuego approved 🔥

Great family restaurant. Went for dinner and sushi. Next time I want to see the hibachi show, the families around us kept roaring with excitement. Servers made great suggestions. Definitely need to come back.

Our second time at Kumo. We had the same chef and same table. Always a fun experience! Would definitely come back and recommend, great local Japanese spot in Cape Coral.

Ordered a hibachi combo and sushi for takeout. The sushi was okay. The rest of the food was bad. None of it tasted like hibachi. There was no sear on the chicken, scallops, or vegetables, and everything was soggy. It tasted like everything was originally frozen, and was cooked at a low temperature in a normal pan or maybe microwave. Instead of cut cubes of chicken breast, they were all a bunch of little round shaped pieces. The scallops were like rubber, and all had the muscle still on the side, which most chefs know to remove. The vegetables were soggy. The "shrimp appetizer" was two shriveled, tough, lukewarm shrimp that seem pre-cooked early and left heated all day. The container that everything was in was literally half full of water. It was a mess. Today, I went to eat the leftovers and found a big black hair in the food, and there is no black hair in this house. I dumped the rest of the overpriced food in the trash. There is more I could say, but this review is getting long. You simply cannot charge a premium Japanese steakhouse price for inferior quality food. I will not be returning, as there are many better options for the cost.

Hibachi and sushi is great. Great atmosphere. Chefs are entertaining and make it an experience. Highly recommended.

Hmmm, I must be from a different planet where a good review and appropriate tip come from good food and service. When the waitress comes back and says that I didn't tip enough, even after one in my party gave cash.... oh well, good luck.

The food was very tasty. Our waitress Jessica was wonderful! She provided exceptional service to us. She went out of her way to find the cold sake I wanted. Aside from waiting 18 minutes past our reservation time and telling the chef to separate the seafood from the meat he was very enthusiastic and entertaining. A nice treat. We weren’t there for a special occasion but it would be a good place for a celebration! Would definitely recommend.

We had 11 people at the Hibachi at 5pm on NYE. Just the basic Hibachi, no funny fancy chef tricks like in the past. I had the veggie deluxe and the tofu was slightly dry but everything else around the table was good! Their Kumo monogrammed dinner plates need replacing, they are very worn and dinged up. All staff was very nice and service extremely fast and efficient.

We ate here on a Saturday, and they were very busy. Unfortunately we weren't able to sit at a table where the food was prepared in front of us. Should have made a reservation, however we were seated quickly in the dining room. The highlight of our dinner was the sushi. It was very tasty, and the prices were reasonable. We did order some hibachi, which was very much overcooked. The shrimp was pretty much in-edible. The service was ok.

AG is the best hibachi chef I have ever experienced. Rina is an awesome server. She was super attentive and accommodating. The food was excellent and made to perfection. Super high rating. I give it a 10 out of 5 :)

Excellent sushi. We ordered a love boat and received so much food as well as the few other sushi rolls and two entrees we ordered, we had food leftover for a while and we had a party of 5. It was all fantastic and the restaurant has chill vibes, a laid back atmosphere, and the waiters were funny and helpful and very knowledgeable about the sushi and entrees.

First time customer and my friend. I was not happy with the food. My bill was $43.00 and my friends bill was $35.00. Make sure that your food is popping hot, because I had to address the matter to the server and it was sent back and I did not reorder that food item. I took a look at how much food was serviced to me and, I was cheated with my portions , when I saw the chief gave more to other customers, I was not a happy person on my Birthday. The salad was soggy and very little in the bowl, was sent back as well. The staff was fair in my opinion. I really enjoyed the chief singing. Happy birthday was not sung to me until I had ask for someone to do so.

The experience was nice as always. Our Chef was fun and friendly. Food was very good. Steak was cooked well. A scallop allergy with our party was accommodated very professionally. Overall great experience for a larger party night out.

This was actually a pretty good Sushi experience. The Sushi was excellent, the other dishes were good, the Saki was okay, and the service was very good. The prices were standard. There were no hand towels in the restroom though. So, wet hands... Three girls were standing around the hostess station doing pretty much nothing, maybe one of them could have filled the paper towel holder?Otherwise it wasn't too bad.

Went there for my daughter birthday and had hibachi. Great experience. Great drinks. Great food. Will be back!

So as far as Hibachi steakhouses go I rate Kumo as one of the top steakhouses for Hibachi. The only reason I give it 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is the same old play doubt Hibachi show. You would think that as years go on you might see a slight change in the show to make it feel new again if you have been already several times. Other than that it's always amazing drinks are always very well made and the shop is very nice.
