Better than Chipotle - order a la cart Tacos that satisfy any craving from traditional, Shrimp, Korean or Brisket. The free chips and salsa was a blend of fresh corn chips and fire roasted tomato - yummy! Staff very friendly. Also the inside seating is comfortable but go outside - beautiful Large stone patio.

Tried the seasoned beef enchiladas and it was great. The queso and rice were both fantastic but the beans were mediocre and tasted like it came straight from a can. This is my second time here and I’d definitely return again but would not order anything with beans. 5 stars because the main part of my entree was great.

I’ve been to tacos and tequila twice now and both times the Baja taco fried was my favorite out of everything I’ve tried. The queso is chef’s kiss. It’s an absolute must! They’re hit or miss on how busy they are. On a Tuesday I’ve had to wait 30 minutes and on a Sunday I’m usually seated right away. Each taco is around $4-6 and they run specials periodically! It’s always 2 for 1 house margs on Tuesday and Sunday. They have so many different types of tacos to choose from, you’ll never run out of options!

First time here, and our party of 5 all loved the atmosphere & food! So many varieties of tacos! Amongst us all we had a variety of tacos, the Idaho taco was fantastic as well as the Korean tofu tacos. We also e’lote which tasted fresh. Being it was Sunday, we took advantage of the 2 for 1 margaritas. This is also offered on Tuesdays. Salsa comes out in a mason jar with individual dipping cups for all you germ freaks 😂. Food came out quickly and service was very attentive. Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. By the way you order a 6lb burrito… if you finish it in 45 mins it’s free + a free t-shirt 🤪

My wife and I came here because of the reviews from Google and the photos. It exceeded my expectations from the hostess Shannon being warm friendly and professional to our server Natalie the staff was great. Also, big compliments to the chef. The food was spectacular. Loved the thick chips for the chicken nachos. Also I think there was some kind of molé sauce in the chicken burrito that was super tasty. I also ordered a root beer float that was excellent. 5/5 I will be back to try the 6 lb burrito Challenge

Good food horrible service. Manager was more busy chatting it up rather than help his team while the struggled in the midst of peak time. Had the bartender running the bar and tables. Many tables were left without drinks being filled and I had to ask for the rest of my order. We wanted to get more food and dessert, but the service was so poor we ended up leaving. The atmosphere is cool I like the FGCU artwork and the music playing, but they need to hire more people and have better management. I hate seeing upper staff watch the lower staff bust their butt and not lift a finger. Do by example.

I like the ambiance of this restaurant. The decoration, it’s nice. Food wise not that much. We had the steak fajitas. Steak needed seasoning, the server never came back to ask if we needed something else. She was new so I wouldn’t hold that against her. I liked the black beans but that’s about it. I wouldn’t come back.

My server Talon was STUPENDOUS! My friend and I admired his patience and perseverance at this fine establishment. We just returned from our trip in South America and T&T gave us the most authentic food imaginable. Talon kept a focus on us during our time there as we were his only table for some odd reason. He proceeded to then play the harp while we ate and his angelic voice soothed us as our margaritas washed down this awesome food.

Tacos and Tequila is our go-to Mexican place and they never disappoint! The food comes out surprisingly fast and it is always amazing. Our waiter, David, was very upbeat and attentive.😊

Tacos were alright. Not the best I’ve had. The braised short rib tacos was very oily and unfortunately soaked the rest of my remaining tacos. Sauces and toppings were forgotten on some of the tacos as well so I needed to request it. Their chips, guac, and queso are very good and a great appetizer to share. I really enjoy my virgin mango strawberry margarita!

We went for a friends birthday and had a blast! Ordered the Margaritas and it was Sunday so they where 2 for 1! Our server Maddie was wonderful and took great care of us. Had the tacos and the Signature one was the best. Brought out the fried Ice cream for our birthday and they sang!

Great location and vibes just minutes from FGCU (students get a discount). Got seated as a party of 10 with only a 15 minute wait and tables are plentiful and well spread out so your not on top of each other. Great cocktail menu and even better tacos. Cheeseburger and korean steak tacos are excellent. Fajitas looked great as well. Shawn from Boston was perhaps one of the best and most engaging and attentive servers I've ever had.

Good variety of tasty tacos. The shrimp tacos, and the California tacos were great. For something different, we tried the chicken pancake taco. Think of a piece of chicken dunked in a pancake with syrup and bacon on top. Tasty but a bit heavy.

Convenient stop on your way to the airport. Margaritas are pretty good, food is just OK. Had a quesadilla that was flavorless. Service was not fantastic but not terrible. Lots of choices. Very big place. Probably fun with a big crowd. Best part is. It’s on the way to the airport.

Had a fantastic at Tacos and Tequila recently. The complimentary chips and salsa were a perfect start. We both had refreshing margaritas, mine regular and his the drop it like it’s hot. For food I tried the Chicken Flautas and they were absolutely delicious, perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with flavorful chicken. My husband had two types of tacos, the Sunday and the Backyard Taco. Both were packed with taste and presented beautifully! Always a fun spot!

This place is well worth every penny spent. The prices are not bad for the amount of food you get. The chips and salsa they give complimentary, phenomenal. I had the burrito with carne asada. The kiddos had a kids meal taco with fries I found that to be the most odd but it worked. Their dad had the El pastor taco, 3 of them. The service was excellent, our server was very friendly and accommodating. Plenty of seating. Plenty of bathroom stalls. Very nice open place. I recommend this to anyone looking for good Spanish style cuisine.

Food was pretty good but service was lacking. Also, My son ordered grilled chicken and was charged at the end for ketchup! When I questioned it he said it is free fro breaded chicken but we charge for ketchup with grilled chicken. I have never paid for ketchup in my life! Horrible customer service!

The food is always good and consistent. We went with 11 people and the server was fantastic . She was on top of everything and even when we requested several different checks she had it under control. Her name started with a C and I am sorry I don’t remember her name. It was Friday night. This has been our go to Mexican restaurant and now we brought new people that were looking for good food. It was a hit!! Drinks are very good as well!

12/11/2021 - Nice atmosphere, well decorated and spacious layout. Live music playing outside nearby. The food was good. We ordered a variety of tacos, as well as guacamole, and drinks. Drinks were just right in strength. Chips and salsa were delicious. But the highlight was the QUESO, a must-order!! I was impressed by the service — our server David was very attentive, and all ordered items arrived quickly. Also love that they played Christmas music in the bathroom!

Came here later at night as our travel was delayed. The restaurant was empty, but the server still paid us the needed and desired attention. We did order appetizers and food. The food came out as it was expected to arrive, staggered. The main dishes had plenty of flavors, and it also came out hot. They also greeted our dog with open arms.

We had an excellent experience, Shannon greeted us with a smile immediately. The place was packed but our server, Natalie, was very attentive to our needs and gave us excellent service. The food was delicious… we started with queso and had some chicken nachos and a burrito. I highly recommend this place👍

My husband and I loved this Mexican place. My husband said it was the best food overall out of his 3 week trip to Florida. He visited 3 times. I love their menu! You can choose from a variety of tacos and order 1 or as many as you like. I tried 3 of them and they were all amazing. Ingredients tasted very fresh and light. My husband had the fajitas and a burrito on subsequent visit and said they were great! We sat at the bar, good service, friendly bartenders, and friendly patrons. A great place for Mexican!

I tried their tacos, and they were a hit. The variety of fillings and the freshness of the ingredients added a delicious twist to each bite. The menu also features a selection of tequila, offering a nice complement to the Mexican flavors. The service was friendly, and the staff contributed to the overall energetic vibe of the place. The colorful decor and lively ambiance make Tacos & Tequila Cantina a great spot for a casual meal with friends. While it might not be the most upscale dining option, the focus on delicious tacos and a lively atmosphere makes this cantina a standout choice for those craving Mexican flavors. I left with a satisfied appetite and a positive impression of the vibrant dining experience at Tacos & Tequila Cantina.

Reviewed 1 week ago This is my all time favorite Mexican Restaurant in this area. I moved here in '97 and this is the best Mexican restaurant I have found. It is large and the food is fantastic. Such a selection of tacos, Margaritas, etc.. My friend recommended it, so we went for her birthday. Everything was fresh and made to order. Our server was so knowledgeable and knew all about the menu. I forgot her name but she was a cutie with a brown braid. The tacos were great. We had the T & T fried chicken taco , we both had quesadillas served with so much good stuff. The Mexican Crema was real, and they gave enough extras that you could take home lots of salsa. Thick and delish. This was my friend Ginger's birthday and we shared her fried ice cream dessert and shared my dessert also. She had been there a couple of times before and chose it for birthday lunch. I cannot say enough, however I shall stop. Show less Date of visit: July 2022 Value Service Food

The happy hour here is amazing and I highly recommend it. The chicken quesadilla and beef nachos were delicious. You get a good portion size for $6 each (happy hour). The bartender, David did a solid job and kept making sure we had everything we needed.
