We did our first of many Christmas photos with Kelly & are in love with them! I have been following her work for a while & finally was able to do some family photos and these are our first photos as a family of 3! She was amazing with our 8 month old who is shy around strangers. She had her smiling in every photo! Can’t wait to book them for future family photos.

I worked with Kelly from love letters for planning and videography and I’m incredibly happy I did. My wedding was supposed to be at la playa but hurricane Ian had other plans. She helped immensely in the planning process as we pivoted to a different location and tried to recreate my dream beach wedding….. at a country club. She went to bat for me again and again in the process trying to convince the venue to do many things they’d never done before and were dead set against allowing us to do. They told me no to having the outdoor dinner of my dreams and Kelly went back and would not take no for an answer and the results were so stunning and the highlight of many of my guests night. She jumped through literal hoops to give me the wedding of my dreams. The end result was spectacular and better than I could have imagined. Had I not had her, the results would have been very different and I think I would have been very disappointed with the outcome. You’ve found the PERFECT wedding photographer! I found Love Letters by doing lengthy internet/Instagram digging, which was a great way to see their work across various occasions, venues, couples, etc. In searching through tagged pictures on social media at venues in the area, I found that Love Letters had a big presence & was drawn to their true, natural, & bright colors in photos, that seemed to truly capture the day. While moody editing is beautiful, we knew that we wanted a bright, classic, and timeless feel to the color/edit in our pictures, and Love Letters nails it. The team responded within three hours of my initial inquiry & set up a phone consultation. During the call, I was able to get a great feel for their team and their process – friendly, shared in our excitement & were interested in hearing our vision/what was important to us in a photographer. Love Letters walked through their packages and options which made it so simple and easy to understand & it helped us ensure we got the right package to cover what was most important to us. After our consultation, I was sold! Competitively priced packages, friendly demeanor, & beautiful photography! We booked Renee for both our engagement session & wedding day. Leading up to the engagement session, we were worried about feeling awkward, shy, & not knowing what to do to get the perfect pictures. Our worries were quickly laid to rest when we met with Renee – her kind manner and professionalism put us at ease. She guided us with posing prompts to capture the perfect images and joked and laughed with us along the way! What stood out most, was Renee’s calm attitude & attentiveness to us. With all weddings, something is bound to go awry. When we had a minor issue prior to the ceremony that held up our timeline, Renee was THE calmest person in the room. We were able to feed off Renee’s calm energy & when she noticed I seemed to be getting flustered, she jumped in to ask what I needed & how she could help. She & her team were able to adjust our schedule on the fly & quickly produced options of how to still make everything work. They checked in with us throughout the night to ensure everything on our list was captured. Like many other couples, we had to postpone our original wedding because of the pandemic and Kelly and Renee were super understanding and worked with us to find a new date that worked with the rest of our vendors. On the day of, Renee and her husband were amazing. They helped us navigate a pre-wedding rain storm and still got all of our photos despite the delay. Renee was super careful to make sure she was getting all of the photos we asked for and made sure that everyone was visible in our large group shots. We loved their chill vibe and willingness to work with the antics of our bridal party :) We got our sneak peeks SO fast and the final album in the time stated in the contract.
