I'm usually in and out, dropping a book or two off and picking up something I'd ordered. Today it wasn't too hot and there wasn't a soul around so I finally took a look at the little courtyard area. Cute.

Great place, beautiful and there are always people nearby to help you if you need it. A very good place to bring the kids to get some books and just hang out in a different environment!

Clean and organized. However.... The staff doesn't allow any kind of Enforcement for people talking on their cellphones while inside the library. This is very distracting when attempting to do quite work.

Very beautiful and new public library. There is a teens and a kids area. The kids area is really big and has an outdoor reading garden. The staff here is friendly and helpful. Conveniently located on 41.

I hesitate to rate a "temporary location", but others should be warned in advance. This is (hopefully) a VERY temporary location. There are some books and resources, as well as a small set of computer stations, but there is only one power outlet for anyone to plug into. I was fortune that I arrived when no one was using it. Also, the WiFi, while good when it is up, tends to drop and stays down for minutes at a time. It must be noted that the suite it inhabits has moldy ceiling tiles and shows other signs of grime and age. Here is hoping the new location opens quickly.

Small, very clean and plenty of resources. I did find it a bit odd that in the new book section that nothing was separated it was just a big hodgepodge of new books.

Absolutely rude and disrespectful today. I barrowed a book that was stained when I rented it, because I didn't bring the book back immediately after spotting the stain I was told there was nothing to they could do and I had pay for the book. I honestly cannot believe this. I was then told by the supervisor we don't loan out damaged books yet two of the today's loans had damaged edges. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR BOOKS BEFORE LEAVING!!!!!!!!!! Disappointed in Lee county's public services. Just like a government ran organization to screw over the poor.

Nice new library. Good people. On the other hand, small bathroom for the size of the building and meeting rooms. The outside adult reading garden is 100 ft from Tamiami Trail and the loud trucks. Lots of weeds, no other plants in the garden.

Being back to the library for the first time since it was rebuilt was beyond satisfactory. The staff was pleasant and even gave us really nice reusable masks for my children to use when my stay was longer then expected. I like and appreciate the help I was given and how the staff takes the time to help you accomplish whatever task you may be needing help with. I can't wait to visit with my kids again, they are beyond excited to explore the kids section of the library.

I recently moved to the area and have been to the library several times. It is uninviting and cold in design and function. I'm able to pick up a hold, look around, and check out without interacting with anyone. I've only spoken with a staff member when I obtained my library card. I was there today and didn't see any staff person. It's definitely not a community.

Such an amazing building, so clean and spacious!! Everyone you come into contact with is so knowledgeable and friendly! Can't wait to go back!

This is the best library I’ve been to. Great selection of books, fun sections for teens, kids, and adults. The Branch Manager is very kind, seems super competent and demonstrated great leading skills.

Our library is amazing photocopier that works well and scans to email. Computers and printers. Lots of helpful staff. A virtual business center. So much more than just books and it is beautiful. Thank YOU for your services 😊

I kinda got spoiled by Lakes Regional library on Gladiolus. With North, it's an easy to find location, plenty of parking. I have rarely had anyone greet me, which can be nice to stay anonymous but they're just not as friendly as Lakes. The set up is a little confusing at first too. Left of main entrance is young children/front is teen/the right side is adult book selection. It's different and a little aloof...and this can be a perk since it offers more intimate seating selection throughout. It's easy to find a quiet nook to read. Huge video selection to check out.

I am disgusted by the treatment I received at this library today. I walk there a few times a week since it isn't far from my home. All I needed was to print something on one piece of paper. The staff members were extremely rude, when they mentioned the announcement was made about the printer being off for the day. I arrived just before 4:30 PM. I can understand turning it off 15 minutes before closing, but not 30. The other staff member, behind the lady I dealt with, had a smug look on her face. She looked nasty. I cannot believe how unprofessional they were. I wouldn't understand anyone hating their job at a public library. I will not be as polite as I was next time. And if it continues, I will reach out to corporate.

Beautiful new building, lots of variety of books.

Nicely organized, this library is not the biggest in the county but is a great choice for our elementary age kids and teens. We like the closed glass doors that separate the children's section from other parts of the library! The staff has always been helpful and kind, even when we have had a child draw in a book!

The best money spent by North Fort Myers. The employees are awesome and they have a wonderful assortment of classes and extracurricular activities. I personally take the Yoga & Strength Training classes during season!!

I am grateful for this place, very accomodating and helpful staff. We have to print out a lot of documents and i am little slow in the process from the computer to the printer and vis-a vis, but they never gave up on us. Thank you for a job well done!!

Once you have your library card, it is easy in and easy out. Checking out is by scanner with a receipt and checking back in it is the same. You can take numerous books out...I think 50. Love it.

Not a quiet place to do homework or study. Not a lot of space dedicated to quiet study area. Unrealistic restrictions placed on study rooms. Tables and most of the computers are located at the front of library near the lobby. Not a place to go if you need to focus and concentrate. It seems like a great place to gather and socialize.

This library has unparalleled resources for toddlers, kids and teenagers. Thank you for this beautiful building, very nice staff and amazing options for families. We visit at least once a week, it is a staple of our weekly routine. In particular, my toddler loves the puzzles and cuddle area for reading. There is also a dedicated story time room and outside reading space that is fenced in. I can appreciate that some people feel that too much of the library is now designated for kids and teenagers but I can tell you that this is RARE for any public facility and there are such limited places for families to spend quality time together, enjoying books and each other so THANK YOU to the North Fort Myers community for this investment.

The library is beautiful, but has approximately 7-8 tables for adults in the entire library. There are several tables in the teen section that is off limits to adults and encompasses nearly 1/3 of the library public floor space. I think the design needs to accommodate everyone’s needs and while I think it’s great to give teenagers space, college students also need to be accommodated.

I adored the head receptionist, she was so very polite and helped me with my task.

The staff are nice when it comes to looking for a specific book. If the don't have it they ask nicely if you want it to be ordered. They are very patient!!

I'm not computer savvy, but everyone is so very helpful.

With a loud home environment I can just walk a bit to here, a wonderful, quiet library. Everyone is so nice and helpful, and printing for only 10 cents for what you want in just black and white, sure. Library passes are free and I can get 10 books or 3 movies of anything there, thats fun. I can also do any schoolwork here without worry. 12/10 extra credit.

On December 12th(2023), I attended an outstanding Santa evening with my neighbors at the North Fort Myers Library. It was the most well organized children’s “Santa” event! There were “active” activities as well as seated, along with hot cocoa & cookies. All enjoyed the ticket to the Polar Express while watching it and waiting for their ticket time with a wonderful Santa. Thank you to All that made this evening great!!!
