The person working didn’t act like she was even interested in talking. Much less to mention if they really take care of these animals why was one sleeping in urine, and the store smells like dog poop. One of the dogs looked very sick. The lady working never moved from the counter the entire time we were in the store. This store needs to be closed if they are treating these animals this way and charging as much as they are it would not stink. This store or ridiculous.

I don't understand all of the bad reviews. I guess everyone has their own experience and of course is entitled to their opinion. I, on the other hand would not normally buy a dog from a place that "sells pups" but we walked in as we were shopping around and fell in love with our new sweetie. They were all very pleasant and informative. (the owner was the one we worked along side with) We have had our pup for just over a year now and he is and always has been, very healthy and happy. Of course I would always say to adopt before buying but sometimes you just fall in love. Every animal deserves a chance with a nice and loving family. I'm happy with our choice. Our little Bentley is the Best! I sure wish everyone had our experience.

My husband surprised me on my birthday by bringing me to Lil Rascals Puppies. We are so in love with our Shih Tzu ❤️. The staff at Lil Rascals was helpful and very kind. My Thor received a clean bill of health when I brought him for his puppy visit! The store was clean and the staff was prompt with cleaning up messes when they did occur. He was adorable to begin with but once he came back from the groomers he honestly couldn't be any cuter!

Love our puppy, but the this store is horrible. We had our puppy checked out within 3 days of purchasing (which is required by Lil Rascals) and by the same vet that did most of the checkups for Lil Rascals, but not all, and she had a bad ear infection that required medication. Sent Lil Rascals a copy of the bill and it took them almost two weeks and 3 additional phone calls to them to reimburse the cost (they never return your call). Took the puppy back to the vet two weeks later to check on ear infection and puppy needed another treatment as there was still a slight infection. Sent Lil Rascals a copy of the second bill (fax confirmation it was received) and now two weeks later and its still not resolved, the owner is the only person who can reimburse and will not return our phone call. The manager/employee is now telling us they only cover the first treatment???..... Buyer beware, if your puppy has issues they may not cover the cost. We are not done fighting this. They also gave us incomplete paperwork concerning her shots etc, and it took almost two weeks for them to send us the correct paperwork. We are still investigating to be sure the paperwork is accurate, if its not then we were sold a puppy that was not up to date with shots and will be contacting the state if that is the case. I feel bad for the puppies there, they never get taken outside so they urinate and poop in the small areas they play in, getting it over over themselves. Should have walked away but the kids fell in live with the pup, at least she has a good home now. UPDATE: We finally had communication with the owner regarding the reimbursement for the ear infection treatment, and "the check is in the mail". The owner did apologize but we explained that all we were looking for was a call back and to resolve the issue. It should have never taken this long. If we dont receive the check in a timely manner I will report that here as well.

DO NOT PURCHASE from this place!!! Walked in and you can immediately see how miserable these puppies are! Puppies and their play pens are filthy, they appear to not have been cleaned in several days. Some puppies appear sick and not even able to move. Employee did not acknowledge us upon walking in and sat at her computer the duration of our visit. They are making so much money off these puppies and the least this business can do is have them live in good conditions. DONT GIVE THIS PLACE YOUR MONEY!!!

We walked in not planning on purchasing but left with a beautiful baby Corgi! The staff was super friendly and helpful. They offered me plenty of advice as a new dog owner! 10/10 recommend. I will be coming back in the future. Thank you Lil Rascals!

You should be ashamed of yourselves, as a business, the puppies are literally sitting in their own feces, the floor is slippery from dried up pee. I had to leave immediately because the smell was so bad, but i felt guilty for leaving all of those poor puppies there in misery. If you can’t take care of animals, don’t try to profit off of selling them!

I bought a wonderful puppy from here, the puppy is lovely, the price was good, I asked if the dog had AKC papers and was told yes by the employee, was told I would get the papers in a 2-12 weeks, I bought the puppy and had to call several months later about the papers, was told to call the breeder, breeder was hard to get a hold of and was told by the breeder to call the pet store, pet store said to call the breeder. I finally received papers in the mail, but not AKC. I got APRI papers which is not what I was told or wanted. I am disappointed that I was lied to and cannot register with AKC. They buy "commercial breeder" puppies and are not registered litters with AKC.

This place needs to be shut down immediately! POOR ANIMALS. They are on the cold ground, with a miserable dirty blanket (if they’re lucky) and covered in their own urine and feces. It is so sad to walk in and see this. As someone who works with animals, this is not only irritating but very heartbreaking to see. The way this place is kept is DISGUSTING and INHUMANE to these poor animals. I have been to plenty of puppy shops all over the country that don’t look or smell like this. You can even smell it from the outside. And once you walk in, it’s worse. The front of the store looks HORRID. Not to mention that when you walk in, no one will greet you, there is no organization. I have submitted a report to the U.S. Department of Agriculture yesterday. As you can see in these photos, these pets are not kept in healthy or even DECENT and RESPECTFUL conditions. I took a peek in the back and snapped a photo, and it’s even WORSE than what you can already see in the front of the shop. I feel angry and so heartbroken for these poor animals, just to know that when they are not being displayed all day, not being walked, groomed and some without water, when the store closes, the conditions they are put in at the back of the store are worse! SHAME ON THE OWNER!! I will continue to call the US Department of Agriculture over and over and over again until this place is shut down!! DISGUSTING!! ADOPT, DONT SHOP!

Just stopped in to see the puppies…. almost every subsection had an abnormal amount of feces and urine. One puppy was eating its own feces. Nobody addressed us when in there, no employee or owner was present.The smell alone was overwhelming. No puppy pads/ newspapers. Feces and urine all over floor, the dogs looked desperate for attention. I’ve seen pounds take 10x better care for their dogs. We all left feeling guilty for even stopping in.

The puppies are matted, covered in pee, and it’s just downright depressing. No “boutique”, the puppies are not, either is the collars and accessories for them. They had a selection same as 5 below. Lol and that’s sad. just putting 2 star because the staff was a lot more friendlier than the cattershack cafe

I feel so bad for the puppies there.. The entire pet shop needs to be sanitized with Clorox or something to disinfect the terrible smell of urine. The poor puppies need to be groomed . I'm sure it takes alot of time and effort to keep the place clean. But, it is a reflection on how these pets are cared for. One suggestion I would give is, invest in training pads. I don’t think they deserve any stars. But I gave them the least. Here’s my story, went in, saw a puppy, ready to purchase it. Apply for partial financing. It is taking forever and ever and ever. They needed so much info surprised they didn’t want my dna. An old couple walks in and they wanted the dog I was buying. But I said sorry too late I waiting for final approval. The store owner calls and she puts me on the phone. The owner said she shouldn’t lose a cash sale with the older couple for the same dog. I inspect the puppy, she had a double ear infection and a warm nose. Her ears were so bad. I would have to take her to the vet Sitting there and waiting. I went over to speak to the old lady and I felt very bad that they have been searching so long so I handed them the dog. With that said, I walked away.

We came into the store to look and ending up leaving with a beautiful French Bulldog as we were just visiting from out of town. All the staff was very welcoming and friendly to us. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for their forever puppie!

absolutely awful. I come here every so often to see how this place looks and to see some cute puppies. This place used to be so nice and clean. As someone who has worked with dogs and puppies this is very irritating to see. These babies are playing, laying, sleeping, eating and drinking while covered in their own or another puppies urine. The smell in here is awful. You can smell it while standing outside the door. This place needs to be shut down to be cleaned. DEEP CLEANED. It’s not hard to clean some pee and stool. This feels like animal neglect at this point. Will not return again. The pup below was placed in the front window even though his/her WHITE patches of hair is stained YELLOW AND BROWN from pee and stool.

This place is horrible and sad. The dogs have no potty mats and just pee on the floor, all the dogs are wet with pee. They have no water in their bowls. It's quite horrible and my whole family felt so bad for those dogs. My 3 year old was so grossed out by the stench of the place we had to leave not that we wanted to stay and see anymore of the horrible conditions those poor puppies are living in.

Puppy tested positive for parvo after 6 days and possible distemper after 12 days. Puppy died. Do not buy or support from this place. They were shut down 6 months ago and had 19 puppies confiscated.

I picked up Eddie on 6/8/22. 6 days after I bought him I rushed him to the animal hospital 6/14/22 and he was admitted due to testing positive for Parvo and waiting on test results for distemper. He passed away today 6/21/22. I would advise anyone to not get a pet from there, the pain and suffering my puppy went through and the anguish having to watch him slowly die from a window while he was isolated in a cold sterile room was torture.

Cute puppies, but filthy conditions. I think someone was attempting to clean because somebody was walking around with a mop but they must of been doing something wrong, because it was dirty and smelly. Puppies are dirty and I felt so disappointed when walking in. It was very sad. I’m currently looking to purchase a pupper but it definitely won’t be here. Also the smell was unbearable, didn’t stay long because I needed to breathe.

We bought a pug from here a week ago and couldn’t be any happier. The staff at this place were great and for a pet store it was pretty clean. The puppies were all in clean cages and all seemed very happy.

We went in and were greeted by Vanessa, all I have to say is amazing. She was willing to help us even though there were several difficulties. As for the puppy we bought, she is amazing and beautiful. This was a great experience!!

Now I completely understand why people say adopt, don’t shop. This poor puppy has severe black ear discharge, kennel cough, and worms. 3200 dollars down, plus driving an hour or so to get him, and NOW 200+ on vet bills and this poor little guy is STILL uncomfortable even after meds. Won’t even bother calling because you already got my 3200.. and all the papers you end up signing saying their not responsible ect. The vet tech looked like he just got out of high school. I know someone who had same problems as well with another dog. Different breed. So not sure what breeders they go through. Another vet visit scheduled and probably another 300 dollars down. Thanks guys.

I recently stopped in because I was walking around the plaza for the first time. I was not acknowledged by anyone while looking at the puppies. I was the only one there other than the girl at the desk. Until a dog came out from the back and went up to me. I assume it belongs to the owner or one of the people who work there. I let the dog sniff me and it snapped at me, started barking as well. The girl at the desk said the dog gets weird when you make eye contact with it? Not sure why a dog would be let loose if it’s going to bark at people in the store. I was interested in a dog and asked about the breed. I was not told anything else after about the dogs. It seemed like they were not interested in selling. Very unusual experience for a puppy store.

The worst experience I have ever had in my life. We were lied to three different times by the workers, drove an hour and a half to come pick up our dogs and then they jacked up the price over $500. Tha manager set the price for two dogs. The worst experience I've ever had, this store should be shut dow. Stop lying to customers

So yesterday I was just browsing online and looking for a new puppy to add to my family. I wasn’t really in the buying mood to buy one that day because I had to talk to my partner and he was so on the fence about not getting another dog. I had read the reviews about this store and was a little hesitant to purchase a dog from them. I know everyone has their opinions and likes to share their own experience. I had gone to Pet land in Fort Myers and was shopping there( would never shop again there due to their prices on their dogs). So I had picked up my partner from hanging out with friends and just was going to stop to see what they had to offer. We walked in and we were greeted by the two ladies that were working there( forgot their names) I was walking around while my partner fell in love with the goldendoodle up front but wanted to see if they had any of there dogs to offer, I wanted a more smaller dog while my partner wanted a bigger dog. We asked the young lady and she said they had a few in the back due to kennel cough, which is normal for dogs to get just like we get the flu. Well my partner immediately fell in love with the dog. They let us take her in the hallway and play with her for awhile and we ended up purchasing her. I usually don’t buy dogs from a pet store because I know there are many dogs in the animal shelters that need homes but at the same time these sweet loving dogs needs home also. We had a wonderful, quick transaction to purchase our new family member. I know a lot of people were complaining about the smell, the dogs in their own feces and etc. but when you have two employees working with customers, and a store full of customers it’s very hard to clean up the feces especially when the puppies go nonstop. But I do have to say the two young ladies did clean up the dogs feces right away when a couple of the dogs did their business in their pens. It was nice to see the dogs not in a cage behind a glass door but out and being playful with everyone. They weren’t lethargic like everyone had posted earlier. Like I said everyone has their opinions but this place was a rockstar and so glad we purchased from them. They explained every piece of paperwork that was in the folder so there were no surprises what so ever. Please give lil rascals puppies a shot and you will defiantly fall in love!

AMAZING PLACE! My mom and I came in to see the puppies and they were happy well cared for with food and water ! Emmet was so helping in telling us info on the business and showing us the oatmeal spray for itchy skin and the best shampoos! The other girl working was very friendly and catering to the puppies! Will be back when we are in town again!

Awesome and friendly staff. Melissa and Alma were very sweet and very informative. Their attention to detail and explaining the responsibilities for new pet owners was very enlightening. As soon as you step in the store, no one is pressuring you to buy and give you your personal space to pet and get to know all their rascals.

We went to view puppies Saturday 12/31. Employees were in store but said they couldn’t open because they were cleaning. This was after 2pm. Store was scheduled to open at noon

They are rude and kick you out of the store before closing time. “ I’m locking the door in 10 min, I’m locking the door in 2 min I’m locking the door in 30 sec. We left the store… so rude. I looked at the time it was 6:45pm. I will never go back again. I advise anyone interested in a dog to read the 1 star reviews. Wow they have a lot more problems than I thought. Closing the store early is nothing compared to the reviews I just read. 🏃‍♀️ RUN!

We purchased our Husky Shiba mix from here when he was still a puppy. He's very healthy no health problems. They do offer financing so that you can space out payments for your dog, the financing cost is kind of expensive but we were able to pay off the amount owed within six months. The setup they have for the puppies is great. They're kept in private little rooms within a big room so that they don't get overwhelmed and there's no fighting but everyone seems to have a companion we were able to play with multiple dogs but my husband fell in love with this one. There is a house dog and he likes to get up on the counter which is hilarious. They very kindly gave a puppy a bath before we took him home I'll just fill out all the paperwork and they do offer a variety of treats and pet supplies in case you want to get a special color for your baby when you pick them up. I highly recommend this place but keep in mind the life expectancy of the dog it's not an Impulse Buy. These dogs and puppies are so sweet if you decide to purchase a dog from here please keep in mind the commitment you're making to your animal

We were looking a place to seat and relax, we saw this pet store I decided to enter to see the puppies, I’m a fan of poodles (I have two) and I had poodles all my life. I got closer where the poodles were and I found out the following: 1. The standard poodle were matted, dirty and in a very poor condition. 2. One of the poodles was very sick, you could see the poodle wasn’t active at all and had green mucus runny out of it nose. I would never buy a dog from places like this at least they sell those puppies in a very low price 😒

Bought my Maltese from them. Love this little guy. They were very helpful and answered my questions. Never saw young kids in the store on cell phones.its kept clean and that takes a lot of help to clean up after puppies. I would go back and buy another without hesitation.

I had been looking for a puppy and I told my husband about this place. When I went there they were so nice and answered all of my questions with no problems. I told them I wanted a pomsky that hadn’t yet arrived and they let me pay for him so that he would be my baby as soon as he got to the store. Thy were so good and ensured that he was healthy and taken care of before I picked him up. I have no complaints and I am so grateful to have gone there for my now 3 month old pomsky.

This place is awesome! The staff is friendly and inviting! The dogs are reasonably priced and come with many benefits! The owner truly cares for the puppies. Each dog is up to date with its shots, comes with registration and a microchip! The place is kept clean and the smell is the minimal for the fact of having over 25 dogs in the store! I highly recommend this place!

This is the best puppy store that I have ever been to. The dogs are well cared for and given plenty of affection. The workers greet warmly when you walk in the door and are constantly making rounds checking on each pen to make sure they are clean, have water and are comfortable! Nothing is “cruel” or “nasty” about this place. All of the dogs are in amazing health and the owner makes sure of it. The owner is also a very sweet, caring and understanding lady who wants to make sure you and the puppy you have chosen are in good hands! Any negative rumors are false. I highly recommend this store! (Much better than Petland by a longshot)

My three boys saw Lil Rascals Puppies from the playground and begged to go in. We had a great time. The puppies were all super energetic and playful! They definitely wanted to come home with us. I inquired about raincoats since we are coming into rainy season. The lady said I have a few laying around, you can have one if it fits. I tried paying, but she said they didn’t sell very well so I could have it. She was super sweet, I think she was the owner and will definitely have us coming back for our pet needs!

I walked in here with my son to check out the puppies - there were four candles burning in the front trying to mask the horrendous odor coming from the place. I have visited many pet stores and they have never smelled that bad. We immediately left.

Gave this place another chance and I didn’t regret it! So I’ve lived in the area for awhile and I’ve gone here a at least 5 times this year. Every time there was a horrid smell and the dogs looked lethargic and sad. But I went the other day one last time and was honestly surprised. Expecting the bad Oder I walked in and it actually smelled like shampoo, the lighting was better and all the puppies sprang up to see me enter. There were new shelves with leashes and products and the owner was so nice! She gave me a great deal on my new puppy and guaranteed the first visit with a month of free insurance and if I needed any pills or medicine for my new lab puppy (who I love with all my life) they wouldn’t charge me (which they didn’t!) and I could get her chipped for free! Give this place another chance, cause you can find your little soulmate like I did before they get picked up!

The place was clean and smelled good. The staff was very kind to me. They took great care of all the dogs. They made sure the kennels were clean after the puppies had an accident. The owner was one of the nicest and most genuine person I’ve ever met. She really cares about what’s best for the dogs and was sweet to all the customers.
