Think of them as the Subway of tacos, or burritos as it may be. The food is good for sure but the service is appalling. I know my Mexican food and this place is just mediocre, but being one of the few Tex Mex food places in town, I suppose that's why they are lax in the manners department. Tacos are warm unlike the staff who is cold. You get in a line and tell them what you want on your wrap when it's your turn, they even have a rack of chips, similar to that other build your own sandwich place. They're mostly a breakfast place and lunch place. I saw a self serve coffee machine, but since I don't drink I didn't partake. Drinks are mostly self service, they have a selection of refrigerated bottled and canned soft drinks. There are seating booths available but most take food to go. A drive through window is available. Seeing as it's a locally owned place you'd think they'd care more about providing friendly service

Ordered a few burritos. Like a few of the other reviews already stated, it's not the size of a burrito, it's a taco. Customer service, we were greated with a good morning. Yes the lady that served us was "a little tense" but I didn't take it personal. It was busy! The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building including customers in the dining room and in line at the register. There were only 3 workers up front so they were just trying to get everyone in and out. We weren't able to get our "burritos" filled exactly as we requested but no big deal. We just ate from the choices the lady gave us. We arrived 4 hours after open so our eggs were hard from sitting but everything tasted good.

Solid food, quick service. If you’re hungry at least get two burritos because they are relatively small but decadent food overall.

We were traveling and happened to see Mingos after leaving the gas station. This place has wonderful staff that politely explain to you their menu. The burritos we ordered were the best that we have even had and I wish we had this place where we live. Give it a try. You will be pleasantly surprised!

I just happened to stop in Fort Texas to re fuel. I thought I would grab a bite to eat and didn’t realize I was walking into a sort of heaven on earth. This is hands down the BEST burrito’s/authentic Mexican food I have ever had! 5stars Must try!

Burritos made to order! The Asado was great, the waiter offered some suggestions and made ne a custom Asado burrito w/asedero cheese and refried beans. I will be back. Just off of main street near the Famous Roadrunner.

It's a good spot for a breakfast burrito ( It's almost the same as a breakfast taco). They have several kinds of types of ready-made food. Just go in point at what looks good for you and enjoy. I like the feel of the restaurant. I grew up in a small town, and it has small town vibes.

I went thru the drive thru and the ladies at the window are always so awesome!! The food is great! I cannot handle "hot" but I love flavor... The asado and spicy brisket are my favorites! Great food, great service and great prices!

Food ok, definitely not what I expected, West Texas has a different idea than me of Tacos. Bought 10 burritos. Will probably not be here again. I did enjoy the stretch..... just passing by.

If your passing through Fort Stockton I would recommend this place. The food was good and enjoyable. I would definitely prefer stopping by here than going to another fast food restaurant that you can get in any big city.

Open early! Such a wonderful surprise to be able to grab a quick delicious breakfast burrito and a cup of coffee early in the morning. Nice clean spacious seating area and friendly people.

It seemed very unassuming when I first drove by but now it’s a must stop any time I’m in Fort Stockton. I had the barbacoa and a breakfast sausage burrito, both with refried beans. The price was very reasonable. Definitely get the cheese on whichever burrito you choose. And make sure to get extra napkins! Plenty of drink options and the inside was very clean.

Run don’t walk! Our take-out breakfast burritos were fabulous. Service was fast and friendly. They have a busy drive thru service too.

Mingo’s was a delight for our road trip through Texas! It is definitely worth the short detour off the interstate! Their burritos are simple and delicious and affordable and the staff was very kind.

Their food is delicious but the mood is very cold, the ladies working the counter are merely asking how many you want , without even a smile! Thats a big factor for me when I visit restaurants, especially family owned ones!

Ate here for 9 months and were are gonna miss it! DELICIOUS doesn't give it justice! Breakfast burritos and their hot sauce is the best you'll ever taste. Wish I could take them back to North Louisiana with me!

Grabbed breakfast on the way thru Ft Stockton. Choices were many and the food was fresh. We were more than pleased at the size of the burrito for the prices charged. Ladies behind the counter were really sweet. Jalapeños were kicking today but good taste great.

This place is a fantastic hole in the wall burrito/taco joint. The hot case was full of both breakfast and lunch burritos you could order. The tortillas were homemade and huge. I did opt for homemade beans as well as meat on my burrito. One burrito was the perfect size to fill me up. The salsa was on point. They only had one type of salsa. I would have liked to have options like a green salsa or orange. The taco meat was flavorful. The beans were perfect. I did opt for cheese on my burrito. The cheese was real cheese and not American Cheese like some tacos places tend to put on their tacos. The staff was very accommodating and amazing. This place is definitely worth a stop if you are hungry for tacos.

It was a good lunch. All home made, or tasted like it anyway. Very good selection of lunch items.

The burritos are very r small. I’m not kidding not worth the money. Don’t waist your time and money. I called the manager and they are unwilling to give us a real size burrito. Humph very unhappy 😞 they are using the small tortillas too . 🤦‍♀️
