I really want to give this place a good review. What can I say? I didn't expect Mexico level food (having lived there for years) but I did expect more from the highest rated mexican restaurant in Ft Stockton. From the salt less chips to the generic cheddar cheese sauce mascarading as "queso" When our food came it did not taste bad, it simply did not taste much at all. Bland and unseasoned. Poor inattentive servervice, including seating us before another family that had been waiting way before us. They offer you a little cup of free ice cream but then make you basically stand in the kitchen and wait for someone to take your credit card payment. I had the distinct pleasure of watching a server (i think owner) and the cook argue through the pass through about what food had gone out and what had not. $30 for 2 plus tip. Generally disappointed.

Food wasn't great. Service was terrible. I had to ask for refills. Prices too high for the quality of the food. The servers had personal acquaintances who got very special attention. I understand that regulars ARE special, but it should not take away from other customers. I'd just say go down the street a bit. There are several other restaurants. Now we know.

Wow! We were traveling back to East Texas from California during our recent vacation and we stopped in Fort Stockton to grab some lunch (12/29/21... 12:17 pm - 1:21 pm). Don't be deceived by just looking at this place from the outside. The food, atmosphere, and employees were absolutely fantastic! We waited a short time for a table, but it was well worth the wait! Once seated in this quaint restaurant, we were served by the nicest waiter (young guy, very friendly)! They don't have any soda... which doesn't matter to me since all 4 of us in my family drink water. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and 3 chicken taco plate. The food was delicious!!! Best "Real" Mexican food we've had in a Looonnnggg time! Our hometown Mexican restaurants don't even come close to competing with this place! We also ordered their queso and chips.... both were so delicious. Chips were wonderful, salted, and delicious. The queso was well worth the price! Creamy and very flavorful! Every time we drive this direction in the future... we will totally be stopping at this amazing restaurant! We wish this place was closer to our hometown! Thanks for the wonderful experience and best food!

A tiny little gem in Ft Stockton. Staff was very friendly and always smiling. Food was delicious. Left with a big smile and a full belly. Couldn't ask for more.

Stopped here on out road trip back to Austin from Carlsbad NM. Food is good and so are prices. Staff is friendly and they were able to accommodate 12 of us without problem. No horchata but a lot of menu options. My 2 year old loved the decoration

Excellent food and the prices won't drive you to the poor house. I really enjoyed the tiny sherbet at the end of the meal as it was a great palate cleanser. The waitress was kind and attentive.

If you want to get ripped off this is the place . I ordered three enchiladas for $8- something and when my plate came it had 3 small tortillas on top of each other with a scap of meat between the two tortillas . I asked them and the said that’s their style of enchiladas. After that I just rushed and left the place . Will never return to that place again . It’s to bad !

True to the name, the food was very fresh and felt like homemade. Pretty economical too with great staff. Would go again if I were to be in the area next time.

Great food. Loved it all! The restaurant itself is cute with murals that make you feel like you’re eating outside.

Such a lovely experience! The food is absolutely delicious and the service is excellent! And to top it off, you get a fun little sherbet for free. ⭐️

Charming, bright decor and a spacious-feeling dining room. One section of the menu was for lighter appetites. It was tailored for, and available to grownups. I wish every restaurant offered that! I got the impression that our server was the owner, or maybe all the employees feel that pride in this place. After dinner, she brought us tiny "sherbet pops." Not sure if that's standard or because a computer glitch delayed our bill, but it was a nice touch.

The food is great here. Don't miss the beef fajitas! And if you're traveling with your furry friends, they have a dog friendly area outside.

as always, the food at Mi Casita was delicious! And the service, as usual, was impeccable. These ladies know how to make you feel welcome and satisfy your hunger for top-notch Mexican food. I love their Chili's Renos. My wife loves their baked tacos. I can eat anything they serve it's all good. I wish them good health and look forward to having a wonderful meal with them again.

My wife and I stayed overnight in Fort Stockton recently and had the pleasure of eating at Mi Casita. The hostess, as we understand it, is the owner; she was very courteous and professional and we so enjoyed her small and clean restaurant; the food was hot and tasted so good to hungry travelers. We were fortunate to have gone on a day it was open-so check their schedule before going. G.Becker

The customer service here was wonderful. The wait was short. The lady greeted us and came back to us twice. And the food. I mean the food was delicious. That bacon burger was just cooked right. ❤️

Cater to the American's comfort Mexican food, not authentic Mexican food. Nooo flavor no spice. Only chip were good crisp. Kinda disappointing

Best food!!! Not only the best food but also amazing service. Had Adonna cater for us and everything was so yummy. Recommend Mi Casita to everyone… I promise you will LOVE it. We will definitely get her again for our next gathering.

This is THE place to eat in Fort Stockton. Everything on the menu was amazing and the chips and salsa is incredible as well. I have not had food this good for that cheap in a very long time. It is so good we ate here both nights we were in town. The staff is extremely friendly. I would recommend this restaurant!

Probably the best part of Fort Stockton. We were there only for the evening and decided to adventure out and try a local place and were so blown away by the food here! We will 10/10 come back to Fort Stockton just to eat at Mi Casita.

Fabulous tasting, authentic mexican food. Service is quick and efficient.

I had great expectations based on the ratings I saw online but was unfortunately quite disappointed. The service was actually not bad - I ordered my Chicken Fajita dinner plate to go and got it within 10 minutes. However, the food was not good at all. One of the worst fajitas I ever had. The chicken tasted like broiled meat instead of the regular grilled style, and the veggies were pretty bad as well. Not sure how other dishes would taste but based on my experience, not recommended.

Oh my gosh ..... some of the best Mexican food. Just a small restaurant and Adonna the owner cooks and serves too. Very favorable food. Very efficient and quiet service. Would highly recommend. Closed Mondays... possibly Sundays?

Rude as all get out Staff when waiting for almost ten minutes to join my friends that were already seated. Good thing I bailed since they all said the food they had wasn't that good. Pass this place up...

Best chili relleno I have ever eaten. This is a real gem. Intimate family owned. Wonderful staff and service. Don't miss the experience.
