THE BEST dog friendly hotel I've ever stayed in. They handed me a small baggy with treats and a plastic bag when checking in. They told me where the dog run was. The room was all tile and clean. Best Westerns have been hit or miss for me but this one is outstanding. Pool and hot tub indoors. If this was in a vacation area I'd definitely return but we're just passing through on I-10. Pillows were great. Soaps were a citrus kind instead of the basic Paul Mitchell brands other places provide.

The staff were all friendly and hard-working during our check in. The hotel is very pet friendly. The pool is open late, so even though we got off work late, and got to dinner at 9, check in around 945, I was still able to go to the jacuzzi till 12. Temp was great. Room was nice. Shower was good. Full fridge in our room and big beds. Honestly this should really be a 4 star hotel listing, not 3. It deserves 4.

We were traveling from Arizona to Austin and we booked BW for our halt at night. Ambience was average I would say it is slightly higher for the price. Our stay was good and rooms were decent and even though we don’t have pets I would like to mention the hotel is pet friendly. Their service at front desk was great. Good hospitality and a pleasant stay overall.

The staff at this location was extremely accommodating. After I checked in to my room. They called to make sure everything was in place. The room was clean and spacious. The staff also had cheeseburgers and French fries for the guests for dinner. Which was a nice treat after driving several hours. Thank you Best Western Fort Stockton. I have stayed in many many hotels. This was by far the best service I have endured. Keep up the great hospitality.

Everything about this hotel was great. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious with great variety. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd give feedback on is that they put the coffee maker in the bathroom RIGHT NEXT TO THE TOILET! That's all. Definitely a good night's stay.

We stayed here for a rest stop for the night on our road trip. The person that checked us in was very friendly. The place is pet friendly, so that’s why we chose it. However, it had a chlorine or chemical smell in the room. Therefore, I couldn’t sleep well throughout the night. They did offer us free dinner, but when I went in everything appeared to be out and the room reeked of cigarettes. There aren’t a whole lot of options around town for food. We could hear guests loudly checking into their room in the late hours of the night, so we couldn’t get peaceful rest. There was also a guest next to us that let his pit bull out of the room off the leash that tried to attack my Golden Retriever in the early morning hours before check out. The breakfast was good. I enjoyed my Texas shaped waffle.

Way beyond my expectations! We were driving from California to Texas June 2023. This Best Western is right off I-10. We were greeted with very friendly staff, received two cookies, and pleasantly surprised that they serve free burgers, fries and Nachos for dinner to all guest. The burger fresh and tasty. We did not have to go out on this very hot day(108 degree) at all. The room was very clean, and spacious. The bathroom was also very well stocked and very clean. The next morning’s complimentary breakfast was standard but good enough. I would definitely come back if I pass this area of Texas!

This is by far the best hotel I've ever stayed at. Before we even arrived we got a courtesy call, we arrive and we're offered a free dinner. There's free nachos available all evening too. The rooms were clean with no smells. The staff was amazing! The free breakfast was also above and beyond. Shout out to the evening server on 9-28 and the morning server on 9-29. I wish I had got their names to let management know how wonderful their employees are.

I am pretty picky when it comes to staying in hotels. I also stereotype by price and hotel name, probably to a fault. I typically stay at Marriott or Hilton owned hotels as I have a membership with them and they always have a higher than average standard. I’m driving through town from Phoenix to Houston and decided to stop in Fort Stockton to spend the night. When I googled hotels in the area this is the one that popped up as the best in town but my stereotyping and skepticism took over so I stopped at the Marriott first which was fully booked for the night. And I’m glad it was. This hotel at the time of this post was offering not only a complimentary breakfast but also a complimentary dinner included with room fee. I’ve never heard of that before. The person servicing me offered me a suite with a kitchen for only 10 extra dollars per night and then noticed I was military and gave me a complimentary discount. I hate asking for discounts so it’s always nice when it’s noticed. This experience at Best Western Plus in Fort Stockton has given me a new hotel chain to trust in. My room is large and beautiful and under priced if I’m being honest(Don’t change it because of this review please). Stay here. You will not regret it.

The front-desk service was very good. Well-maintained and clean hotel. The room was spacious, and clean, and newer shower in the bathroom. The pillows on the bed could be of better quality. The breakfast selections were ordinary. The hotel also offers complimentary light dinner options. A good value for money.

**Edit** Since I cannot reply to the hotel directly I will respond here. I wasn't going to get into specifics about the situation, but either this hotel has me confused with another guest (which is entirely possible as the reservation was under my family's name, not mine) or is lying to make themselves look better. I had 3 interactions with staff my entire trip. I never complained about children nor used any derogatory language with staff, so I am genuinely confused about these statements. I called downstairs twice over an hour period concerned about either construction or a potential domestic dispute and was told to change rooms because they could not get the other guest to calm down. My family as well as other guests heard him screaming in his room as well since they were next to him on the top floor. He walked down while I was downstairs waiting for a room change and was clearly intoxicated, barefoot, slurring his words and screaming at the staff. HE was using derogatory and sexist language to the staff and I was as uncomfortable as the front desk ladies during this interaction. Im actually quite surprised they didnt call the police. As i was walking away i could still hear him screaming at them. While I absolutely would've left, the time was 11pm at night and I was in no state to continue driving after an already long day of driving. I didn't receive any additional amenities for the room change and was in fact afraid for my well-being with the intoxicated guest in the hotel (or as they put it their "elite rewards member"). I don't believe putting the blame on myself for how the staff handled a situation with an intoxicated guest is the best course of action. I was actually very nervous to call the front desk as I've never experienced this situation before or even requested a room change in a hotel before. I in no way was rude or hostile to the staff and would've expressed my gratitude but we were interrupted by their "elite rewards member". I think it says a lot on how the hotel responded to my review, basically blaming me for a situation that I didn't cause nor escalate but in fact their staff did not handle correctly. It's also interesting with the limited interaction I had that somehow race is being brought up. I think I said 3 sentences total to the front desk which were all over the phone and I only said my room number when I came down. I stand by my review more now than before based on their response. Initial Review: We chose this hotel in Fort Stockton because it had the most consistent ratings. It is slim pickings here because the town is so small. I suggest avoiding Fort Stockton all together if you can. However, if you can't avoid it, make sure to stay on the top floor! The walls are paper thin, you can hear everything, including your neighbors snoring and their alarm clocks going off. The person upstairs sounded like they were moving the furniture all night. I didn't sleep for more than a few hours because of this. My room was also not cleaned, used soap in the shower, and had lots of mold in the grout. Also, WHY is the coffee maker in the BATHROOM?! I'm not sure what kind of laundry detergent they use, but the linens did not smell or feel clean. I really do not understand all of the 5 star reviews for this place. I guess it makes sense if you are traveling with your dog since this is a dog friendly hotel. But with that being said, many of the non pet rooms smell like pet urine. There is dog poop everywhere in the parking lot, so watch your step! We only let the staff know about the noise and urine smell because we just needed somewhere to lay our heads for the night. The staff seemed annoyed by our complaints, I'm sure it happens regularly and they can't do anything about it. They did offer to switch rooms, but they were sure to let me know how inconvenienced they were by this. Final verdict, I would rather sleep in my car at a rest stop off of the interstate than the Best Western in Fort Stockton.

The staff are great and very friendly and helpful! We had car issues and had to add two additional nights onto our one night stay and they were very helpful and accommodating. The only negative to this hotel is the in-room coffee maker (Kurig) is in the bathroom. I did not use it at all because to me that is very disgusting. GROSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Very pleasant experience. We were there for 4 nights. And the staff and service were great. The continental breakfast was very good with lots of options. They also do a free dinner at night. The food wasn't amazing but it was okay especially for being free. I gave the room 3 stars only because the walls are thin and we could here our upstairs neighbors moving around. They seem to be pushing the fact that they allow pets so lots of dogs. Super clean though. All in all a good experience.

Amazing hotel at a decent price, especially for a best western! I didn’t have a reservation and just walked in. Beds and pillows were comfy, hotel and room was super clean and smelled good, breakfast was yummy and they had gluten friendly food, and the towels were soft (most hotel towels are so rough). 10/10, would definitely stay here again. Also the guy at the front desk was so kind and quick getting me a room.

Awesome place to stay! Super friendly staff! Great breakfast options. Room was great. Heated indoor pool felt amazing. Two large dog runs with turf! The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was that sofa bed was pretty dirty.

Nice pet friendly hotel. Nice hotel room. The bed was OK. Our ai conditioner was quite noisy and had a hard time cooling. The pool is in a neat looking indoor area. When the sun shines on the windows, it gives off beautiful color. They have 2 dog runs outside, which are nice after a long ride. The parking area next door was also empty so we could walk around without any problem. This was our second stay here. The employees have aways been nice. They also have a bar that served complimentary nachos. We did not get to try it. But definitely will next time. They also have a complimentary small dinner, again we did not get to try. They have an assortment of breakfast items. Hope you enjoy

Staff was helpful and welcoming. The pool and hot tub were nice, after a long day of driving. Breakfast had enough options for everyone to have something. We missed the evening meal, but will try next time. This place is within walking distance to the little movie theater located in the building that says Convention Center. Location is convenient to gas stations, Walmart, and some fast food.

I chose this hotel because it is pet friendly. I am pleasantly surprised. I was greeted by friendly staff, the room is clean and tidy, and my dog LOVED the dog run they have. I feel that they put effort into making sure that all dogs were happy too. I will certainly stay here again.

This hotel is conveniently located right off the I10. We booked in advance and had zero issues with booking and check in. We chose this hotel because they are pet friendly and allowed our dogs and our cats. It has lots of parking and a huge paved lot that was well lit next door to park semi trucks and moving trucks or other large vehicles. They serve a free breakfast that had lots of options as well as a bar for those who drink. The rooms we very nice and clean, with soft beds and big screen televisions. Zero noise from neighboring rooms and upstairs. They also have a little store inside where you can purchase essentials, deserts and other snacks. I highly recommend this hotel. And would definitely stay there again.

Everything was gorgeous and seemed new. Our group of two grandparents and two thirteen year olds are on our way back to Florida. We really appreciated the light dinner that was complimentary, the nice bar, and a great complimentary breakfast. We were a bit cramped when we added a rollaway, but that is us, not the hotel, and they don’t offer larger suites. Great place.

Wow! Amazing experience at a highway-side hotel. From the minute we checked in to the minute we left, everyone was amazing! We were served a late supper, despite nowhere saying that dinner would be included. Breakfast was varied and well done! Room was recently updated, extremely comfortable and huge! I would 100% stay here again any time I'm moving through the area.

This hotel is great! Clean, friendly, convenient. They have great customer service. I love that they serve breakfast and dinner, and also have a bar. It is right on the highway, but not too loud in the rooms. Pet friendly! Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel room was clean and spacious. My furry pet was welcomed and the two women at the front desk were so kind and amazing! The breakfast was delicious and hot. The main reason we chose the hotel was for the pool but it was closed for maintenance, we asked how long that would take and she said before 7pm. We went to eat for a few and came back to it open! It was great for my daughter to swim as she was excited the whole drive about it. We really appreciated that. Overall the stay was amazing and we will be using again!

This hotel by far was one of the best pet friendly hotels I have ever stayed in. We felt very well taken care of. Our dogs were welcomed and provided for by the specific dog friendly amenities. The staff was amazing and always courteous. The breakfast had all the fun treats you could want. We will plan to stay here everytime we drive through.

This is the Best Western I've stayed at in any place I've been to in the world. We always book Best Western just something we've done for 15 years. This is a dog friendly hotel. They even have canine rooms on the first floor. They go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. Their breakfast is fantastic and their dinner is good. But what makes this place so special is the employees. They are truly fantastic kids. They will help you with whatever need you have and if they don't know the answer they will find someone who does and help you immediately. They called me before I arrived to see if there was anything special we needed. No one does that anymore and it was refreshing to have this Best Western do that

This hotel is probably top of the list of favorite hotels I've ever stayed in. The lobby and rooms are very clean. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast is hot and delicious. They serve a hot breakfast and have cereal and fruit available all day. They also have a little complimentary meal in the evenings. The night we stayed it was Salisbury steak, Mac and cheese, and salad. It wasn't fancy bit because our vehicle was in the shop and we couldn't drive anywhere, it was super convenient! All of the staff is very friendly and helpful and the manager, Santosh, is FANTASTIC! I wouldn't think twice about referring this hotel to anyone and will DEFINITELY stay again if I'm ever in the Fort Stockton area.

Hands down the best place to stay while passing through town. Front desk staff were amazing and super helpful for the 1 night we were there. The complimentary dinner and breakfast were key and the front desk staff were so friendly. I spent the night with my 2 small dogs while crossing through town. This place is easily worth the value. I’d recommend it to anyone!

We're traveling from Louisiana to California and this is the BEST dog friendly hotel on the 1800 mile trip. The staff very friendly and helpful, continental breakfast very good and the beds perfect. Only complaint was long black hairs in the bathroom. I'm rating it 4.5 stars out of 5. We're now staying at Best Westerns Plus instead of Choice and Hilton hotels.

I booked this location in advance, but essentially it was just a place to stay as I was driving from Austin to Tuscon, AZ right after the New Year. I was beyond pleased with my stay. After checking in I was offered hotel made popcorn and cookies. Then, to my surprise and delight, I was told they were serving dinner to guests that eve - lasagna, salad, nachos and garlic bread. The staff was extremely kind and you got the sense the employees enjoyed working there and with each other. The room was clean and larger than I thought it would be. Located in a safe, convenient location. And breakfast was full and complete as well. This is a hotel worth staying at just because of the atmosphere.
