Great Burgers, nice family run restaurant!

I don't know how this place has over 4 stars!!! I went there and they pulled my burger out of metal warming pan full of water! Burger had no flavor and if it did it was in that pan of water!!! People are very nice. The self serve fries are the best thing smokin here! It's curius that people with different names have the same exact reviews of this place. Well wouldn't recommend this place unless they improve the quality of the food.

When you've done burgers and fries for over 40 years, they're gonna be good. I got the chili cheese burger and it was delicious. The chili is probably some of the best I've had and the shredded cheese on top really complements it. Their fries are top notch too. They're similar to five guys in cut and flavor. Definitely taste fresh not frozen. The interesting part for me was the concept itself. If you get a combo, you get your burger on a plate with 3 partitions, 1 for the burger and the 2 others can be used to fill with beans and fries or all beans or all fries...you serve yourself the sides so you pick what you want. So after you get your burger you pass through a self-serve bar that has those 2 items plus a desert. Then you pay and get your drink cup and off you go to find a place to sit. It was a really good set up. They also have cherry coke as an option for their fountain which is a rare find these days. Only down side is their limited hours. I've been there for work on 5 different occasions and was only able to get to them once because they close pretty early. Will definitely be back.

Best fries in town, and delicious red beans! They fix your awesome burger and plate it, you load your own quantity of home cut old school fries and red beans. After downing an embarrassing amount of both and Odessa's best chili cheese burger, we need more stars for this 40 plus year old classic Odessa restaurant. We will return!

7/15/21: I ordered the double meat chili cheese burger with bacon, with fries and beans as my sides. The burger was absolutely amazing as well as the fries and beans. I finished off my lunch with a banana pudding which was also amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times. I highly recommend trying out Permian Basin Hamburger Comfy in Downtown Odessa.

Burgers are nothing fancy, but they're pretty good. Fries are solid, but again- not spectacular. Considering the price, it's one of the better lunch dives in Odessa

The best hamburger place in Odessa. You place your order from counter and if you want a drink, fries and beans, you help yourself. Burger, fries and beans were excellent. The place has been in business for overv40 years. Loved it!

The BEST BURGERS in all Odessa they will not disappoint you. Try them and you'll see. There French fries are different from original fries better. Awesomely Awesomely good too. 😋

Not a bad burger and very quick service. I really enjoyed the fries. My problem with the burgers were the chili tasted packaged. I would recommend Permian Basin Hamburger company to someone and will most likely come back. One great thing about the place is the ice. Is really good crushed ice.

There is a lady who works there a busser I believe since there aren't really servers or host but she a white lady a little older but she is so sweet me and my fiance where a few dollars short and she decided to pay for it all and I'm truly blessed I was willing take off my drink or something but she's so sweet and I appreciate her alot

I have eaten here since the 1980’s. The food is amazing. Best burger and fries in Odessa or anywhere else. The restaurant has a comfortable home town feel. The owners are the nicest people there are. Wonderful memories have come from that restaurant❤️.

I have been eating here since the 80s the burgers are great fries and beans awesome. I once had to take burgers to stanton 40 miles away the owner and his daughter fixed and packed them well. They were great traveling that far. Love this place.

This is a Downtown staple for Odessa. If you are visiting, you've gotta stop in and get you a double double. DONT FORGET TO GET THE BEANS as they are wonderful.

This is the best burger of all time. I never leave reviews but I had to give these people what they deserve. You must come here and give these people your money. The must have burgers are the chili burger and hickory burger. The restaurant is kept clean at all times and the service is fast. Overall great place for family and friends to grab food.
