Stayed in the “Soda Pop” room last weekend as part of a wedding, for which The Pickle Factory rooms were all booked. The ceremony, reception, and lodging ALL IN ONE PLACE!!!. So convenient for my family, who came down from Michigan. The decor is AMAZING, every single room is gorgeous and is tasteful yet very eclectic. Very Comfortable, accommodations and amenities are top notch. Every detail covered. My little nephews stayed in the Pickle Room and the Green room, and overall the Pickle Factory was beyond perfect for a small wedding party and some of the guests to stay in. Yes, of course there’s noise in the hall a little and i could hear just a little of the music from our wedding reception downstairs. BUT, all in all I give this place 5/5, grade A++. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I stayed in the pickle 2 bedroom 2 bathroom room and it was amazing. It was so perfect that I wasn’t even missing home. I don’t know what mattress they have in there but I’m emailing to ask. I slept 10 hours and my back didn’t hurt at all. We will be back.

SO much noise, the walls are paper thin. Between the neighbors chatting, walking, etc. being super loud despite them *not talking in a loud voice* and the noises from outside, we could hardly sleep. That said, the room looks great, the bed was very comfortable, the kitchen is stocked with cooking supplies, they provide a variety of coffee, and the check-in process was quick and painless (assuming you check your email). The location was kind of hard to find. It is a door with a keypad to the right of a whiskey place, could be mistaken for a small apartment complex. Parking is great, reserved spots right next to the location. Highly recommend if you can get past the noise!

We came to Covington for a long weekend with friends. We stayed in the double Wendell Luxe suite on the second floor. Upon arriving we found the room to be very unique & comfortable with the decor. But the HVAC unit made noises while running which was quite annoying along with the walls & ceiling not being very soundproof at all! We heard every step, every movement & even conversations of the tenants above us, which kept everyone in our unit up all night. There was no place to keep ice nor make any, only a fridge unit available. Although the rooms were nicely furnished, a more insulated room would have made for a more enjoyable stay. We plan on coming back to Covi to visit in the future, but not sure we will be staying at the PFBH. Hope things change for the better, the place definitely has potential!

The location is excellent, at least for me and what I had planned...the decor and size of the room is great, and parking is great. My reasons for giving 3 stars are the noise and air conditioning. I could hear other guests next door to my room and above me having normal conversations, not even yelling. I could tell when they were in bed and when they went to the bathroom. I understand it's an old building, but maybe installation would help, or orientating the rooms so the bedroom/bathrooms didn't have adjacent walls? I had to use a white noise app on my phone in order to get some sleep. The air conditioning never worked correctly, although the staff did try to help me, it still would only run a short time and then stop. They recommended flipping the breaker to turn it back on, which I did, and had to do several times in order for it to run more than 20 minutes. It happened to be hot while I was there as well. I recommend having fans in the rooms to help with the poor a/c and noise issues.

Our stay at the Pickle Factory was magical. Our rooms were whimsically decorated and fully equipped with every possible need. Our host checked in on us regularly to see if we were doing okay and if we had any additional needs. The location was perfect -- walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops, etc. If you are looking for a magical experience, I highly recommend.

Stayed here 2 nights for the central location and to have a suite without paying "suite" prices at a corporate chain hotel. Honestly, the quality is there, and the price was excellent, but I didn't really care for the weird decor (we got the Odd Fellows room). I also don't know why the bed and side tables were so low to the ground. Would recommend but probably not go again myself. It's just not for me.

Kind of strange place where it was to get too. Had trouble with the locks. Needs a bigger TV. The beds were very comfortable. The place was put together very nicely.

We really enjoyed being in the space. Nicely put together and makes you feel at home. Very clean. We did think cleaning fee was a little steep for one night. The only other complaint would be that it seems the memory foam mattress did not have enough time to forget the previous occupants! Very uncomfortable mattress. Didn't sleep well at all.Very quiet and appreciated the no contact private check in.

Our rooms were so cute! Much cooler than staying in a basic hotel! The bed was comfy and the linens were high quality. It was great to be able to walk to restaurants and bars.

Love the location, room was very nice. Separate sitting area from the bedroom, nice bathroom, kitchenette looked nice. I am just not sure I can give any higher of a rating because of the water. Showed was cold. I was up before 7, so I would not expect any hot water issues. Neither my wife or I could Stay in long enough to was our hair.

The hotel is darling but VERY NOISY! You can hear everything your neighbors are doing. Currently there is a wedding below us and I think if I joined in on singing "Sweet Caroline" they would be able to hear me too. I love historic rehabs but sound insulation would go a long way to making this location fabulous. Hoping the reception is over by midnight so I can finally fall asleep after driving all day. 🤞

Very cute and different. Location very close to several restaurants. If you're looking for something a little different and not just a regular hotel room, this is the place.
