Ordered the non-veg thali and it was nothing short of amazing. The lamb saag and tandoori chicken are particular stand outs! The only thing better than the food was the excellent service. Hot, fresh, tasty, and a very pleasant visit. Definitely worth the drive from Louisville!

We picked this restaurant based on the google score which is quit high. It was not our first time trying Indian food in the USA so we had some expectations. We ordered chicken tandoori, biryani and doo piyaze. We were not happy with the taste. The portion size was ok, the service was ok but once some of the personnel asked us to write the review on google, we tried to mention it to her that rice needed more time to simmer. However, she kind of ignored us and did not care at all about what we have said. Overall, I am not happy with the experience in this place.

Nice vibrant atmosphere, good music, and would you look at this platter. Go ahead and order the non veg thali, thank me later. It was like getting a bit of the buffet experience 😋 I was stuffed when I left and so happy.

The Indian restaurant didn't meet my expectations. While the waiter was courteous and appeared friendly, they gave us the check and left abruptly at 2:30 pm. The quality of the food was subpar as the meat was tough and the spices didn't smell appealing. Despite my love for Indian cuisine, I couldn't enjoy the meal. Some staff were sleeping while our dining time.

Excellent! We ordered the Mixed Platter, Samosas, Paneer Pakora, Lamb Saag, Lamb Curry, Chicken Tandoori, and Garlic Naan. Our kids each got a complimentary Mango Lassi. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious! Some of the best Indian cuisine we've had in the Cincinnati area. The restaurant was clean and all the staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Definitely recommend!

Food was delicious and the service was very quick! I ordered the non-veg Thali and was very full, and I didn’t even finish it because it was plenty! Heads up, if you order the Thali expect a large garlic naan and some dessert at the end!

We enjoyed the food and the service. Both the veg and non-veg lunch thalis were a great value. The naan was excellent! Wish we lived closer because we would certainly come back more often.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The food is top notch and delicious. You can tell they take great pride in what they prepare. Very affordable prices. Fast service. The staff are super friendly and polite. The chef even came out to talk to us and make sure we enjoyed the food. Great atmosphere and very clean throughout. Great portion sizes, ended up taking leftovers home. You should definitely give this place a try. We will definitely be back. THANK YOU!

Paneer Tikka and Chicken kebab was good and yummy but if you are an Asian who loves biriyani and it’s spices you might not find the taste amusing! Service and ambience are decent and clean

Our family has ordered take out from Shaan for a few years, but we dined in for the first time today for lunch. The food is always delicious, but the service was lovely. Our server was attentive and answered any questions we had and offered great suggestions. We will definitely be back.

i enjoyed my time at this restaurant. Had a very wonderful experience and the service was excellent. Checks in to make sure everything is ok with our food and table, but also gave us the right amount of privacy. The food was simply delicious; I ordered chicken makhani, chicken tikka biryani, and paneer pakora, along with some garlic naan and raita. The chicken in the chicken makhani dish was tender and cooked just right; it was not dry on its own so that was perfect. The chicken tikka biryani was very flavorful. Good portion sizes. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

The best Indian food we’ve had anywhere! This place is phenomenal, the menu is huge with combinations of everything you can think of. The food is packed with flavor and you just don’t want to stop eating. To top it all off, the employees are so kind and welcoming and will help with suggestions. We had Arish today and he was so kind and gave amazing service despite the place being super busy for lunch.

I went today for lunch and am so glad that I did! The service was excellent and the food was even better. My friend and I got the crispiest and most flavorful vegetable samosas and chicken tikka to start. The chicken tikka was incredible. We also got saag paneer, lamb rogan josh, and garlic naan for our entrees. We will be back soon for sure.

Food here is on point. Atmosphere is quaint, the family that runs this place is very friendly and accommodating, and the vibe is a home run. But that food. Mmm. So good. Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I’ve ever had, the Paneer Bhakura is both crispy and soft, and it’s honestly hard to go wrong with anything on the menu here. If you like food and are a human, come here now.

Oh my gosh! As a long time customer, I was wondering how the newest owners would carry on the legacy (the first long-time owner and staff were great and the second owners worked very hard). I just got in for lunch today, and it was excellent! The flavors are different but fantastic, more subtle and delicate. The lamb curry was very flavorful, with well-prepared and tender meat. The chicken pakoras were perfectly crispy and seasoned. The paratha was fresh and slightly crispy, and the rice had very subtle, delightful flavor. I had an excellent service experience. I got takeout and will definitely return soon. If you are a regular of this restaurant and haven't been as much through the owner transitions like me, please check them out soon!

My first visit to this restaurant and I tell you; I thought I was in France. The Indian Cuisine is excellent and so is the service. The host and hostess treated me as if I were a diplomat. Excellent service! I've never tasted such fresh Indian Cuisine before. Delectable, delicious, just a gastronomic feast. I could not eat it all. I ordered the Non Vegi Thali and Goat Curry. Prices are reasonable. I definitely will be going back with guests. If your looking for an experience in fine Indian Cuisine; then look no further. A real gem in the City of Cincinnati. Kudos to Shaan Indian Cuisine. They truly are the best...
