In town for work and stopped with local co-worker who recommended it. I was very pleased with flavor of the tacos and salsas. The asada was tender, chorizo flavorful and the fish was light and not too heavy of a fried taste. There’s a couple nice outdoor seating areas as well. I am excited to go back and try more along with a Margarita!

First trip to Mazunte and it did not disappoint. Great value, great food, great atmosphere, great service. What’s not to like about this place? Got the chorizo enchilada ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely loved it. There was a lot of outdoor and also indoor seating which is great because the place was popping the entire time we were there. The food came promptly. Chips and salsa were delicious - Pico de Gallo was one of the best I've had. I got the tacos dorados which filled me up, and my friend got the chicken tacos which she loved. Their home made lemonade drink was also delicious. Would definitely come back. Great atmosphere. Came back again several months later and everything is still as great and delicious as it is. I brought a friend who hasn't been here prior and he loved it. He got the chorizo tacos.

Great food! Great Margaritas that pack a punch! I always get a quesadilla, fried fish tacos, tacos dorados or memelitas. During lunch hours can get pretty busy, so make extra time for getting and table and ordering. Great place to eat lunch outside with weather permitting.

We came here for the Taco Week (Oct 9). Even on Monday, the place got pretty busy very quick after opening (at 11 AM). Of course we had tacos. They were very good. The chicken tacos were too salty in my opinion. We also had the salsa. They were OK. The service was very quick. You came in to order, and took a sign for your food to be delivered to your table.

Food was delicious! The young lady helping us didn’t give us direction/information for the taco bar, so we were clueless but other than that is was incredible. Highly recommend The Tacos Dorados.

My absolute favorite taco place. Period. If you’re looking for authentic Mexican street tacos, this is the spot. I usually get the mixed taco plate because I can’t choose between the steak, chicken, fish, and carnitas, so I just get one of each. OH YEAH! And did I mention that their guacamole is da bomb and they have an unlimited salsa bar with four different kinds of salsa, from the milder pico and verde to the spicy roasted tomato and picante. Also, the staff members are all so friendly, kind, and hardworking. The service is speedy and everything is always clean. Once you go to Mazunte, you will never stop dreaming of their tacos.

This has become my favorite local place for tacos. This time I enjoyed the beer battered fish tacos, which were fantastic. I also love the pork tacos. They serve Horchata and Jamaica, which are so delicious. Friendly and prompt service for there or to go.

Had been to Mazunte several years ago and been waiting for an opportunity to try it again. I was staying in the area for a few days and went for dinner. Ordered tacos (pork, steak and chicken) and tamales and their salsa bar. Better than I even remembered it being. It was ALL fantastic--the pork taco being my favorite. The tamales were also moist and tasted freshly made rather than dried out and defrosted and steamed. The salsas were also amazing, hard to pick my favorite, but the habanero was on point without burning my tongue off. Not a ton of seating even with additional seating now. On a weekend I imagine it's next to impossible to get a seat. Can't wait to eat here again.

Pleasantly surprised to find a real authentic Mexican restaurant versus Texas mex. Outdoor seating in the open air or sun room is available. Parking in the front or back of building as it gets busy for lunch for sure. Order at the door, don't forget to order chip bar if you want that sort of thing as they don't have the unlimited chips at the table. I had the 3 taco mix of pork, steak, and chorizo... All were very very good. I'll be back for sure! I give 4 stars on atmosphere only because I wish there was beer on tap.

I've always had a great time here since they opened. It's casual and relaxed and the food is always delicious and fun. Grabbed lunch with my daughter and tried a few delectables. We had the chicken and vegetarian tacos as well as the pasole, hope I spelled that right. Help yourself bottles of soda or beers are a great compliment to this food.

. Food at this little taco place was amazing and delicious! I had a Chicken Enchilada, served Verde style (green chile sauce). It was SO good- I savored every bite. . My drink, Agua de Limon (limeade, non-alcoholic), was tasty and quite refreshing- not too tart and not too sweet. . And a side order of Queso Fundido (melted cheese dip) and chips was also good. This was a large portion of Queso, definitely shareable. . The atmosphere in the small dining area was not great. It felt like a dive bar- dark, with lots of exposed concrete and very uncomfortable square wood stools. There was a ton of loud mechanical noise- fans, refrigeration units, and something metallic rattling. But the food is amazing. . There are tents for outdoor dining, and I would recommend you try dining out there in good weather. There would be more light, less noise, and the outdoor chairs had backs! The day I visited was 95+ degrees, so I opted to stay inside. . The restaurant sign is hard to see from Madison Road, because the tents block the view of it. But the restaurant is located just to the left of the Edward Jones offices. . Give this delicious restaurant a try!

Food comes out fast and the tacos are excellent! Friendly service, fun vibes, and very busy in the evenings! Definitely check this place out if you get a chance.

The food itself is very delicious and authentic, but the portions are small and not very filling. The menu is small too so options are pretty limited. The place is very casual, you stand in front of the register, order from a menu board, get your own drink and salsas, and seat yourself. It's street food so the portions and style definitely feel more like a food truck than a restaurant. The flavor of the tacos and tortillas are amazing though!!!

I've been coming here since the opening day and everything is spot on. The salsa bar has a variety of salsa that are absolutely delicious. The horchata is made in house and amazing. All of the taco options are tasty. The guacamole is a perfect balance of lime and salty. The chips are fried right in front of you.

My favorite taco's in Cincinnati! Their carnitas tacos are great, and so are the chips and salsa and margaritas. Everything is really well priced too!

Highly recommend! I never forget to take pics, but the aftermath is all I have of this one! Best guacamole I’ve ever had!! Chicken tacos were also good!

I got the beer battered fish tacos and my husband got a blue corn pork quesadilla. He lived in Mexico for years and he gave it a 4.5/5 and says the only thing missing was stuff he could add to the quesadilla. Like salsa, onions, cilantro. Just toppings. Flavor was good but it could have tasted better with some toppings. The rice was really good.

For authentic Mexican food this is one of the best places in Cincinnati. You almost feel like you're ordering from a street cart. With the kitchen in full view, not only can you watch them make your order, but if you sit at the bar you feel like you're part of the process. This is not a place for fine dining but perfect for a sudden mood for good Mexican.

I can't explain the emotions I had when I found this place. Real Mexican food. No time to take a lot pictures, because I wanted to enjoy the food. Well let me share some photos πŸ˜‚

My wife and I recently visited while on vacation and were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The tamales were delicious and the salsa verde they put on the tamales was also very good. They had a salsa bar and their hottest one packed a punch that took me a little by surprise. They also sell aguas frescas, which I got. They agua de limon tasted homemade and was an excellent accompaniment to my food. The staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. If you're ever in Cinci, you need to come visit Mazunte!
