Some of the best food we have had in Cincinnati. Came here for my partners birthday and the total experience was outstanding. Definitely not cheap but the food and service is worth it for a special night out. My partner has a dietary restriction and our server walked us through the whole menu making recommendations. A lovely night where we left full and satisfied.

Often regarded as one of Cincinnati's best restaurants, I had eaten here before and was underwhelmed. So when my frienda son wanted to go for his birthday I was nervous. Turns out it was nowhere near my first experience. Absolutely impeccable service and quality of food, the beef Wellington he craved more than satisfied him ("the best thing I've ever eaten"). Every bit of the small plates we ordered (pomme souffles, pasta with sausage, and bread) was enjoyed by the party. But the best thing here was when I asked, since it's his birthday, the kitchen gave him a full tour! Im talking about bringing us in the back and talking about all the amazing food we just experienced, I mean staff working their butts off apologizing to us that they had to move around us. It was a busy weekday, and they went above and beyond to make this an experience to celebrate the event. I couldn't recommend them higher, thank you Boca!

BOCA was PERFECTION! I brought my wife and daughters to celebrate my wife’s birthday and to celebrate her last chemo treatment. When we arrived they instantly told her “Happy Birthday” and sat us at the chefs table. Our waitress, Christine, was an absolute delight! She explained the menu in great detail and asked all the right questions to ensure my daughters loved their food…and man did they ever! We’ve eaten at a lot of high end restaurants and this was the best meal of our lives! EVERYTHING was amazing! It was the perfect night that we’ll never forget! Thanks to all the staff and cooks for the perfect evening! You made our night special!

The best dining experience I've ever had! The host Grant was amazing and accommodating and had a great sense of humor. Bryan was incredibly knowledgeable of the menu and food and drink in general. He was so friendly, funny, and looked slick as hell. Everything was paced perfectly and Bryan was super attentive and helpful and provided direction and much appreciated suggestions. All of the food was delicious, the leeks and kale & ricotta ravioli were our favorite, but it was so hard to choose a favorite. We will definitely be back and spread the gospel that is Boca.

Perfect place to indulge! We came here to celebrate a special occasion and weren’t disappointed. The beef Wellington was 💯 and worth every dime. The wait staff was kind enough to walk us through the menu as well.

Just as I had suspected, Boca was AMAZING. The whole experience was awesome and our server Joe was perfect. My wife and I shared and thoroughly enjoyed several of their dishes. The Oysters, Halibut, TarTar, scallops and sprouts were all amazing. Their steak and king crab was truly some of the juiciest proteins I've ever tasted. The array of flavors perfectly arranged throughout the entire experience reminded me of a Top Sushi experience in Tokyo. The brussel sprout sent my taste buds flying high and I'm not even joking here. Whatever they are doing I need to figure it out so I can make some. Just do yourself a favor and experience what Boca has created for you and everyone else in Cincinnati.

This is by far the #1 cuisine and dining experience in Cincinnati. Beats Ruby’s and anything by a mile. The service is out of a movie, perfect. The plating is art. The taste is outrageously delicious. Beef Wellington was phenomenal. Ask for Seth. He’s the best!

We ❤️ this Cincinnati classic. The service was exemplary, and the staff were knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu due to our group size. We ordered: 1. Pomme souffles - these are fried 🥔 heaven. The paired sauce was delicious and complimented the dish (10/5 🌟) 2. Diver scallop with brussel sprouts - while there was slight contention in the group, some members love crispy brussel sprouts, I thoroughly enjoyed this dish 🤩. The scallop was pan seared to Gordon Ramsey standards. The brussel sprouts were bursting with flavor 😋 (10/5 🌟) 3. Arpege salad - quality ingredients and prepared well. This fell flat on flavor after eating the brussel sprouts. (3.5/5 🌟) 4. Beet salad - similar to our other salad. The beets with goat chese were a great pairing. However, they fell flat after dish #2 (3/5 🌟) 5. Fussilli and Bolognese - well prepared dish. However, it needs some extra spice in its dish life (3/5 🌟) 6. Kale and ricotta ravioli - the combination of flavors and texture of the breadcrumbs elevated this dish. I would say it seemed slightly oily, but overall, I'm happy I ordered (4.5 🌟) 7. Cappellacci di Giano - if you ❤️ peas, this is the dish for you. This was a light dish and had a dainty flavor profile. It was a fan favorite of the group (4/5 🌟) 8. Amish chicken with mushroom risotto - the skin on the chicken = perfection. The mushroom risotto was a little salty, and I felt the rice was cooked slightly over. I like my risotto with a little bite to it. The chicken was the 🌟 of this dish. (5/5 🌟) 9. "Filet Boca" - the Bordelaise sauce that accompanied the filet was superb. The filet was prepared well, and the seasoning enhanced the steak while not overpowering. The crab on top was tasty but not necessary for the dish. (5/5 🌟) 10. Candy bar 3.0 🍫- This was also a fan favorite. This desert was executed well with many varying textures and flavors. Only comment is it is on the sweet side. (4.5/5 🌟) 11. Maple 🍁 mascaparone cheesecake - this was not too sweet and had a good balance. (5/5 🌟) 12. Panna cotta - quote from the person who ordered "Perfect blend of tart and sweet. Ideal consistency, melts in your mouth." (5/5 🌟) Overall great well established restaurant. Would return and recommend!

I am writing this review 2 years after I dined here with my wife. It's had a lasting impression on what I consider good food. Both my wife and I were incredibly impressed with the service, atmosphere, experience, options, and of course the food. Now because it's been so long I don't recall the name of dishes, but I gathered some pictures of what we had. Trust me when I say you can not go wrong with anything at BOCA, and like me it will leave an impression big enough to last 2 years, and I'm sure more.

Boca is Michelin star worthy! Everything from the host to the service to the food and drink was five stars. The server made great recommendations. The halibut was cooked perfectly, and rivaled halibut at Le Bernardin. I’m sure there’s not a bad dish on the menu.

Wow.... I have never experienced food like this before. They definitely focus more on quality vs quantity, but don't let their small portions fool you! There is no comparison to their quality of food. A lot of their menu items were new to me, but we had a wonderful server (Brian) that was happy to provide suggestions and walk us through our selections. With their cozy intimate atmosphere, Boca makes a perfect choice for a date night. We were able to enjoy our time together, sharing small plates without feeling rushed. I highly recommend!

The food is absolutely phenomenal, the scallop and Brussels sprouts is a must!!! And the Beef Wellington was the best meal we have ever had. It definitely is shareable! Morgan was great as well. You can tell he loves what he does and is great! We love the atmosphere and the overall vibe. Would recommend to anyone!

THE best dining experience I have had in Cincinnati. I was taken here on a date for my birthday, and it was immaculate. Service was on point, timely, professional, and made nothing but spectacular recommendations on the menu for both drinks and food. The decor is lively and grand. Every single dish repeatedly kept blowing our minds. The different balances of flavors and acidity were inventive and well crafted. I have nothing but positive remarks for every aspect of the experience here. What a menu. Every dish we had stood out as significant and impressive, you cannot go wrong. Wowzas! Scallop and brussels sprouts, Beet Mezzaluna, Charred Leeks, Lumache con Salsiccia e Funghi, Beef Wellington, and more. Chef's kiss.

Amazing food! This is your New York / LA level experience right here in Cincinnati. The only negative is, I found the service to be slow considering the price. Our waiter was slow to fill our wine and clear our finished off plates, something you would expect from a restaurant with this price tag. With that said, I would still definitely recommend it, the food is that good!

Fabulous. Everything was fabulous. From the service to the food to the ambiance, I can't say enough good things. We went for hubs birthday and they put a candle on our dessert plate. Cute. The only slightly downside was that it was a little hard to hear my husband across the table. The foie gras was chilled which was unexpected but absolutely melted in my mouth. Get the pommes souffles- thank me later. Easily my favorite meal of the year so far!

This restaurant was amazing. I am a former flight attendant (30 years). I know quality customer service when I see it. Christine was our server tonight and her knowledge of the menu, descriptions of the food, and assistance were spot on! Yes, it is expensive but so worth it! The food? Wonderful. The attention to detail? Fantastic. In all, I found Boca to be more than just fine dining, it was an experience!

Dear Lord. You have to go. It is worth every penny and more. Went for our first wedding anniversary. Staff was lovely and super helpful. We were treated like royalty and there were zero children present. The perfect dining experience. Seriously, if you don't visit you will never forgive yourself.

Great service, great variety, and excellent cocktails. The most fun dishes were the halibut and leek for me. The leek was just a symphony of textures, flavors, and temperature shrprises. It was cold but was so soft, creamy but also very well seasoned and sweet at the same time. It was delightful. The halibut was unexpectedly smoky and perfectly cooked. It stood on its own but with all the sauce and vegetables, mushrooms and puree under it, the dish had an amazing perfect bite when you put all of them together. Overall, i would love to try them again for when the menu changes.

Disappointing. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and clean. Service was excellent at times but other times lackluster. We appreciate the wait staff working as a team to replace our silverware between courses but our waiter was hard to find at times and refused a special dessert request without asking the kitchen. The food was most disappointing. We entered expecting rich, vibrant flavors with unique presentations, on par with The Precinct, Capital Grill, or Prime. But many dishes fell flat. The best dishes were the Souffle and Arpege salad. The "American in Paris" egg was too tart. Foir Gras was salty (although the accompanied pear compote and panetone were good). Rockafella oysters and lobster roll were average and forgettable. The agnolotti and Bolognese were average. You can tell the noodles are freshly made but the sauce was mildly flavored for the bolognese (it required a lot of cheese to taste anything) and the agnolotti had a slimy metallic aftertaste. Lastly, the salmon was cooked well - crispy skin and soft center with a tasty sauce. But the dessert menu was unappealing. Perhaps the disappointing entrees spoiled our experience, but we always look forward to dessert and none of the options seemed particularly appealing. We tried the "candy bar 3.0" which was overwhelming with chocolate. The brownie base was crumbly instead of soft and chewy. the nougat was good but overwhelmed by the hard case of dark chocolate and the small dollop of ice cream was not enough to cleanse the palate between bites. I felt like I needed to drink a full glass of water between bites to wash the chocolate sticking to the roof of my mouth. Overall it tasted like an overpriced Snickers. Before ordering we requested if they could bring us a creme brulee (previously on the menu), but our waiter refused saying it is not on the menu (we wish he would have asked the kitchen or manager). Overall, it was a decently pleasurable experience. Not terrible, but not as exciting as we had hoped. I would certainly go again but temper your expectations, stick to a few good dishes, and walk down the street to Graeters for dessert.

I love small plates style because you get to try a lot of different flavors. Prepare to order a lot of dishes, and you might not leave full if you’re not prepared to spend. Food and atmosphere is worth it, but the service makes Boca stand out. Our waiter described the history of the location and menu, and provided great recommendations. I watched him curate when dishes came out and always made sure we had what we needed. Absolutely recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.

Outstanding! We were able to get same day reservations on a Friday and it was easier to make them by calling the restaurant directly. Beef Wellington! Lobster roll! Yummm! Highly recommend this fine dining experience.

One of the best Ohio restaurants. Food and service are impeccable. Yeah it is definitely pricy, but consistently top notch. Portions are “normal” which might be on the small side for buffet frequenters.

We had a truly wonderful experience here. We went to celebrate a special occasion and it was more than we could have asked for. Our server, Doug was PHENOMENAL and his recommendations were spot on. The food was incredible! From the Pommes Soufflés to the Le Citron, each dish was better than the last. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience with exceptional service, incredible food, and an overall fantastic atmosphere- BOCA is a must. This was our first time dining there and it certainly will not be our last. This restaurant is absolutely worth it! It was one of the best experiences we have ever had at any restaurant.

The star of the show was undeniably the Beef Wellington, and it did not disappoint. Visually stunning, the dish arrived perfectly encased in golden puff pastry, promising a succulent treat within. The dining experience was elevated to new heights by the presence of a knowledgeable sommelier. Their expertise in wine pairing was truly impressive, and their passion for their craft was evident in every recommendation. Completing this culinary masterpiece were the best Pomme Soufflés I have ever tasted. These delicate, puffed-up potato creations were crispy on the outside and cloud-like on the inside.
