Absolutely loved this place. We had a large group and I was able to try several things and they were all delicious! The art and derby glasses are such a nice touch.

Dinner was great with excellent service. I ordered and shared the pork chop entree to everyone's delight. The Brussels sprouts were also a big hit. The house cocktails are good too, especially the Bourbon & Pimm's. I've also enjoyed brunch here. You gotta try the fried green tomatoes.

Cute restaurant in Covington. Adorable area with lots of shops. Food was amazing. Very filling and reasonably priced. Went for brunch. They have indoor and outdoor seating. The Croissant breakfast sandwich was amazing. Good bloody mary. They have a jalapeño garlic one I should have tried. Bright and low noise. Would recommend.

This was our first time dining at Otto's restaurant. It will not be the last. The food was fantastic! I had the filet. My wife had the short ribs. Both were amazing! The service was great. Perfect! Can't wait to go back!

AMAZING BRUNCH in Covington. They have flavored mimosas, classic and grapefruit mimosas. The “Otto’s Benedict” was very good ingredients were fresh and so tasty. I recommend to make reservations, it is a small place and it gets very busy. Very relaxing and quiet atmosphere and servers are really welcoming and nice.

One of our favorites in the heart of Covington. Rotating menus, but everything is always delicious and very unique in flavor. All 3 courses were on point. White sauce mussels had a great southern Cajun taste. Flatbread had all the flavors of cheeses and figs. The Southern fried pork chip was one of the best I've ever had! Super friendly service, fast and delicious!!!

I actually had food poisoning* here. I ordered the brisket as well as appetizers and found myself 2 hours later getting hot flashes and running to the restaurant bathroom a couple times. This traumatic event happened about 2 months ago and I put off writing a review. The good news is that the upstairs bathroom was impeccably clean and was a safe haven during those moments. That said, the restaurant was also very loud on a Friday night. We struggled to hear anyone sitting more than 1 foot away. The food is decent and conventional American. I wasn’t impressed after all the raving reviews.

Went with friends here for the first time a few weeks ago. Food was delicious. I will be back for that bacon sandwich and pancakes again. Server wasn't around much but thankfully we didn't need much. Nice decor and love that it has a second floor of seating.

Unfortunately we tried to go for my birthday lunch but didn't get to try the food. I would not recommend going at lunchtime with a group larger than four if you don't have a reservation as they won't be able to accommodate. I do want to provide constructive feedback to the team as we weren't greeted upon initially entering, and that remained to be the case for an extended period of time. We were eventually greeted, but the explanation as to why we couldn't be accommodated was not great. Overall the sentiments we received were that we were an annoyance more than a customer. Alas, my birthday lunch plans rebounded, and we went to one of my Covington favorites, KungFood Ameriasia.

we went for brunch and everything was amazing! the brunch is classic but they put their own spin on things. i love restaurants in old houses - very charming. the dining room is a little cramped but that’s because it’s a small space to begin with.

If you’re looking for a fantastic brunch spot, THIS is the place! The food was fantastic! I ordered something I wouldn't normally order, the breakfast casserole, and it was so good. I didn’t want it to end! My husband loved the steak & egg burrito. We shared the lemon blueberry pancakes and they were incredible! Mimosas were really good as well, I loved the cranberry limoncello one! It was so lovely sitting outside too. Perfect atmosphere! Hostess & our server were very friendly & attentive. Word of advice- make a reservation! We didn’t have one and luckily we got there not long after they had opened, but tables filled up very quickly. Can’t wait to go back again!

We came for the Sunday brunch. The bacon was the absolute best that I have ever tasted. Also had the steak burrito and the French toast. The French toast was so delicious, and felt like we were eating dessert. The burrito was full of juicy and tender chunks of beef tenderloin. Just a great brunch. Oh, and the mimosas were delicious as well!

oMg! The Brussels sprout appetizer was everything. Sweet and savory all in one bite. It was so good I had to let it marinate before chewing and swallowing lol😅 the green fried tomatoes was something new for me but I enjoyed it. My sandwich and fries was super delicious. My favorite part was the drink lol. Very tasty and to the point.

Overall, it was alright. I tried the Lemon Blueberry Pancakes. I got the Tomato Dill soup as my side. I also tried a mimosa. The pancakes are not traditional pancakes. They're crispy and have a crust, which was weird to me. They don't have a very strong lemon flavor. The champagne in the mimosa isn't very good. It's a drier variety, so that wasn't great either. The tomato dill soup was very good. The restaurant is on the smaller side. It's definitely best to make reservations unless you're eating alone or with one other person. In that instance, expect to eat at the bar. All of the staff is very friendly. They greeted me promptly. They made recommendations when asked. The food was brought out very quickly.

Reservations are at least highly recommended. This is not a large place, however there is still enough room between tables for comfort. You can hear yourself talk. The food is great, either a good drinks menu. Try a whisky sour with Makers Mark 46. Friendly staff and timely service. Well recommended and I would return. Thank you.

This place is amazing for breakfast. The food was good, the service was good. I had the French toast. Highly recommend this place. It was a little crowded so a reservation is recommended.

My wife and I had dinner for a date night here and we’re very pleased with the food and service! The filet and halibut were amazing and complimented very well with the side orders they come with. For dessert we had the bread pudding which was phenomenal as well. Will definitely be returning.

We had dinner here for New Year's eve and it was fantastic!! The salmon was excellent! We really enjoyed our dinner and the atmosphere is super cute and quaint. Try this restaurant out, you will not be sorry you did 😊

Very cute place. There was a line up but we chose to sit at the bar to cut down on the wait time and luckily someone did not make their reservation and we got in after 20 minute wait. The service was great and they have cute salt/pepper shakes at each table that was super unique. I ordered the avocado toast with the potato hash. The avocado was on point. The hash was also delicious with the ketchup. Would definitely come back!

Can’t wait to go back and try Ottos again. Everything I ordered was amazing! Best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had and you can tell everything is fresh and made from scratch. My food didn’t take long and it arrived nice and hot. Super friendly staff and my server Henry was great. He was attentive but not overbearing, and made great recommendations.

Very nice place. I think the place sweetens things a bit too much. Brussels sprouts with brown sugar is one thing. But the salmon was overly sweet as was the mussels. It could have been the lingering sweet from tasting the sprouts. :) Service is great and nice atmosphere inside. Drinks could be served a bit quicker. And at times the plates could have been cleared quicker

Excellent meal all around. The service is great if slightly on the slow side when it's fully packed but not nearly enough to complain about. The Brussels sprouts had the perfect amount of caramelization, and the halibut was excellent. The star was the beef short ribs, though. The jus was to die for.

First time visiting this restaurant. We entered the restaurant and no one was around. We didn't know if we had to wait to be seated or not, so we proceeded to a table. Someone finally came over to us and asked if we had reservations. This was in the afternoon, after lunch rush, on a Thursday. We were surprised they were taking reservations at that time. The place was pretty empty- counted only five tables with customers. Ordered the black and blue salad which was good, chicken salad sandwich was bland and had literally had only five pecans in the whole sandwich but served on a nice croissant. Server was not rude, but never came back to our table to re-fill water glasses or see if we wanted another mixed drink or glass of beer. They miss an opportunity to make a little more money. The two servers seem to be busier with stocking, cleaning, moving things around, than waiting on customers. We left a standard tip and said goodbye when we left. Not sure it's really worth going back to though.

Otto’s was SO delicious and the service was superb! Called Otto’s and as their reservation rules go, they take them for tables, not seats at the bar. The host was so kind to have saved a pair of seats at the bar though. Getting late, seats were given to someone else, but no biggie! 20 min later, got a table!! Couldn’t decide what I wanted, so after the waitress commented Locks was only available on the weekend brunch, she sold me. Food came out pretty quickly considering it was Sunday brunch. Thanks for the food tip and great hospitality, we will be coming back!

So delicious! Small & adorable ambiance. All great food, especially the potato cakes! Definitely get a reservation on OpenTable if you want to secure a spot on a Saturday!

Food was great! I got the cream of mushroom soup and the sea scallop with mushroom risotto. Only gripe I have that there wasn’t much texture in either dish. The mushroom soup was puréed and was begging to have bits of mushroom. The sea scallop dish was super good but also lacked texture. Overall food was really good though. Our service was okay. Not much to say about it. Biggest gripe and the reason I’m giving 4 stars and not 5 is that it says $10-20 a person on google and it absolutely is not that. This is easily a $$$ restaurant. My soup was $6 for a cup and the scallop risotto was $37 I believe. There are some cheaper options but definitely nothing less than $20. This would not be an issue at all but I just wish I knew that going into the restaurant. Overall I did enjoy my experience here and will be returning. However next time it’ll be for more of a special occasion because it is absolutely not $10-20 a person.
