Great open air and enclosed shopping mall located on the banks of the Ohio River directly across from Cincinnati! Has multiple shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues throughout the complex. Live entertainment as well! Breathtaking views of downtown Cincinnati! Also is home to the Newport Aquarium! Plenty of parking available inside the parking garage or one of the many parking lots available around the shopping center. Definitely recommend spending a day or evening here whenever you are in the area!

Awesome atmosphere to go and eat and admire the sunsets. They have a lot of restaurants and bars hands down the best location along the Ohio River.

Newport on the Levee is a vibrant destination with diverse entertainment, dining, and shopping options. The scenic riverside location and AMC theater are highlights. It's a great place for outings with friends or family. Highly recommended for a memorable experience in Newport!

We came to town to visit the Aquarium and there was an event going on down at the Levee. We all walked through the various vendors & enjoyed some food truck treats. Walking distance to the mall, hotel & shops.

Great area to take the whole family! Perfect view of Cincinnati looking north and an excellent aquarium on site. The grilled cheese restaurant is a must for cheese lovers and the sweets shop is a go to for people of all ages! Nice place to take the whole family on a mini vacation, or a great place to take your sanificant other on a night out. Movie theater and upscale restaurants on site make for a perfect setting. Parking garage and public restrooms are both clean and secure. A must see if in the area!

Great spot to sit out on a Summer evening. Not overcrowded at all. Kids and I really enjoy relaxing, strolling and conversing with friends on the Levee.

I have to say it's been a bit since we have been here but I love the changes. The buildings look great with the paint job and the addition of bars and breweries in that little park area is nice. The big screen outside is great for watching events.

Absolutely gorgeous. We played trivia on the levee and it was such a fun little activity to do as a date they have several drink vendors to help make it more fun 😏 and the drinks are so good. And after we were able to go on a little river walk, one of the best views you can have on the Kentucky/Ohio border. Stunning 💕

It's ok. Not a lot of shops. It would be a good place to take kids because they have lots of activities there. I was able to check out all the shops in maybe 30 minutes. I imagine the main draw is a movie theater, several restaurants, and being by the aquarium.

The purple people bridge has faded lol. This is the first time we had been back in 15 years and not much has changed which is good and bad. Looks like they're building more but we were hoping for more restaurant options and something to do in the air conditioning besides seeing a movie.

Very clean and friendly place. Many different places to check out. We had dinner from the Doner House food truck. They were amazing and friendly.

It was a great mall but there's not enough stores available to shop. It's in a great location by the river and had a river bridge and next to the Newport Aquarium. They even had valet parking.

Went to Italian fest. There were some amazing Italian dishes like sausages, meatballs, pastes, and delicious cannolis. Live band and great atmosphere for kids and adults.

We visited the Newport Aquarium on a Sunday and the crowd wasn't too bad at all. The place is really cool for children up to high school age probably. There are definitely a lot of different types of fish there to look at know doubt. From sea horses to manta rays to octopuses to sharks to alligators. They have just about everything you can think of. Admission is fairly reasonable, but everything else is ridiculously priced. From $4 bottle sodas to $15 trinket Keychains to $7.50 taco . So the moral to this story is to simply eat before you go and have an some time folks. Enjoy 😉

“The Levee,” as the locals call it, is a unique experience right in the heart of Newport, Kentucky. and just across the river from Downtown Cincinnati. It hosts several community events and festivals, including a summer music series, wellness events, and trivia nights. With stunning views of the Cincinnati skyline, you can’t go wrong with a date night to grab dinner at one of the waterfront dining options, like Brothers Bar & Grill or Amador, before taking in a movie at the AMC theater. Other great date-night options include Velocity Esports, Rotolo Bowling, Hofbrauhuas Newport (the first Hofbrauhaus outside of Munich), or BB Riverboats cruises, which are just a short walk from Newport on the Levee.

I went for Goetta Fest '23. The atmosphere was awesome. The location is beautiful. Since we were there for the festival, I didn't see much else. I absolutely plan to go back when there's not a festival.

The aquarium was clean and well taken care of. I saw a couple of people with swiffers and broom/dustpans. We got to see some divers feeding the fish and cleaning the inside of the tanks, that was cool. They have two places where they let you touch the fish. The staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. I didn't see any signage about penguin feeding times on the website or around the area where you can sit and watch which was a disappointment. That would have been nice to see We didn't try the cafe but the food smelled good! My boy asked for tuna (which they don't serve 😄). Obviously the large tank was the star of the show, we spent a good amount of time watching the shark rays, turtle and other varieties of fish. There is a rope bridge that lets you walk over the shark tank. I understand the need for safety but it was pretty underwhelming considering you couldn't really see much past all the netting. This will be a once in a blue moon kind of trip for us as it was $100 (with military discount) for 2 adults and 1 child.

It was really FUN! We were there to visit Goettafest and afterwards, walked about in the Levee for the air conditioning (not a lot in the building anymore). Then we visited the container park and enjoyed a beverage. Great view of the Cincinnati skyline. #goetta #newport #cincinnati

We took our family to the aquarium on Thanksgiving Day and it was amazing!! The employees were very kind and attentive, the animals were active and fun to watch and the crowd is nonexistent. Would definitely plan this trip again! Thank you for making this Thanksgiving memorable for us!

There are not many stores or restaurants! I thought it had closed for a short while and had all new tenants, but I think that is what they wanted the public to believe. There are less tenants than before!! There was a nice plant and and art store. There was a store with a lot of Nike, highly overpriced. There is still a gaming place, but it smelled really bad and was very hot! For $25 minimum I would consider that punishment at any age!! Our highlightt was seeing all ages dressed in pink for the Barbie movie, but we could go anywhere and see that! Newport on the Levee has fallen off the levy! Ugh!

Great for dates! With bowling, a tiki bar, igloos, cotton candy, gormet cheese, and corn hole, you can find something to do to connect and explore the opportunity of getting to know someone better. As a tourist, I had a lot of fun during my visit. I do, however have many questions about the painted barrels and pig sculptures scattered throughout the northern Newport KY area.

We loved this place. So much to see for all ages, from young to old. The shark tunnel walk through and rope bridge is our family's favorite. Get tickets ahead online as you are assigned a specific time. You can't get in early and you may wait hours-outside-before getting in. If it's cold or stormy that day, plan accordingly as you will be standing outside from 30-60 minutes.

New port, new buildings, new restaurants… and so much more. Aquarium, movies, waterfront and restaurants plus an outdoor screen for your favorite game or show. This place is a must visit. Love what they did here.

Very clean atmosphere . I love that the levee supports small businesses . I’m an artist and small business owner . I was glad I came . They definitely support art and have a ton of original pieces up for grabs of all styles . I would love to sell my own art on the levee.

Decent place with aquarium - but needs to pre-pay for tickets while we were visiting. Can take a few decent photos along the river.

I came for cold stone. Ice cream was great! Unfortunately when we went inside of the shopping mall we were sitting there minding our own business when a "security officer" came over. They never showed us identification proving they were in fact an officer in charge of the area. They said there was a curfew and no one under 18 could be here alone and they had to check our identification. This was completely uncalled for! I do not look young, we were not being a nuisance, we were minding our own business, and there were no clear posted signs addressing this so called "curfew". I don't even know if this was a real security officer. Even if i was under the age of 18 there was no reason to kick me out. I did not have my identification with me (i leave any extra cards in the car in case i lose my wallet), only a credit card. I offered to show my credit card instead, not the numbers obviously! Simply show that i have a credit card proving i am over 18 since you have to be 18 to open your own credit card. The so called "officer" who was doing nothing productive then went on a 5 minute scold about how i should never show my credit card to anyone, or how i shouldn't tell anyone my vaccination status or any personal information (they started to get really unrelated to the topic). And yet, the officer had just asked to see our drivers license! Which contains full name, birthday, address, etc! I can easily shut off my credit card within minutes on my phone, but can i change my address? Or my birthday nearly as easily? No. Drivers license definitely has more sensitive information and yet they went to scold me about offering the credit card instead. The entire time they were interacting with us i wanted them to leave us alone and respect that we were trying to enjoy the space. They did the opposite. They completely made me feel uninvited and unwelcomed and disrespected our privacy. I can't believe they would have this protocol even for people who were obviously minding their own business, were mature, and respectful. I don't know who this security officer was but they were doing a poor job. I was there on a first date, honestly if that "officer" didn't sour the mood so much i think there might be a second with him and i. Don't go here on a first date. Or better yet, don't go here ever. There's nothing interesting going on ever and there's many better places to be. That officer just made me feel so unwelcomed and it stuck with me the whole night!

This was a very wonderful experience. My first time going to a party on the purple people bridge. I really enjoyed myself.

What a calming place to go!! There's places to sit that overlook the water. There's bridges to walk across. There's bikes nearby you can rent to ride across the bridge. There's ferry boats! It was so relaxing!
