The experience my friends and I had here was anything but amusing. The rooms I must say are beautiful but with little inspection you can see how nasty they really are. When we checked into our room we found a blood stain on the sheet. Looked like old period blood that was obviously never cleaned. We were moved to a new room, a suite actually and given vouchers for breakfast. Sounds amazing right? But no, our new room also had a huge urine stain on it. At that point we were so tired we just asked for more blankets, inspected them and slept on chairs like old men. And to make things worse in the morning they didn’t take our breakfast vouchers. We went to the front desk and they wouldn’t accommodate us for anything. We’re were also told they were overbooked for the next night so I expect more bad reviews coming soon. Don’t stay here!!!! It’s cute in the pictures but not worth the stress!

During my recent stay at the Graduate Hotel in Cincinnati, I really enjoyed the lively and nostalgic atmosphere. It was a mix of modern digs and old-school charm, influenced by the local university. The rooms were cozy, and the hotel's use of local art and cultural nods made it even better. Being right in the middle of everything was convenient, and the overall college-themed vibe made my stay pretty dope.

The art in the hotel was amazing and that's the only reason I am giving it two stars. The hotel for one night was over $200, we had to pay for parking still and the room had no microwave, no coffee pot with that price. We had to switch rooms because both beds had stains on them (see pictures). The 3rd shift staff made us feel like it was an inconvenience for them to switch us rooms. I will not be returning to this hotel in the future because of the sanitation of the room and the rude night staff.

The hotel is very interesting visually with neat details. The bathroom is quite small in the regular king rooms. Bed is firm, pillows are down, sheets are 100% cotton but not at all soft. The decorative blanket on the bed doesn't get washed, just sprayed with the same scent as the shampoo. The floor in the shower was filthy. It was ok to me. I think people go to feast the eyes.... but the other parts just aren't there for me to pay that price and stay again.

The Graduate is right in the heart of UC's campus, both the school and hospitals. I chose this location due to the proximity to Cincinnati Children's Hospital, being only half a mile away. It's close to great restaurants, both chain and boutique options. The hotel itself is so unique and modern with so many nostalgic images and furniture throughout. It's capable of conventions and weddings. It has a more upscale feel and the bed is incredible! I can't wait to stay here again.

This is one of the coolest looking hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Loved all the kitschy decor over the walls in the room and throughout the property. The employees were extremely welcoming throughout my visit. Parking in underground garage was secure and easy to get in and out. Breakfast items are made to order in the lobby, and what I had was delicious.

Nice clean place. The decor is totally why you should stay here! My daughter loved it! It was fairly close to the hospital so it made a recovery night after leaving the hospital after surgery very nice and easy. The pizza from the restaurant was pretty tasty, the crust could have been better, but seems like everything is made on site.

This hotel was a fun and unique experience! We had a great time exploring the decorations and furnishings! They are located extremely close to the zoo and the Newport Aquarium! If you are looking for something out of the ordinary I highly recommend this hotel! We will definitely be back!!!

The graduate in Cincinnati, was outstanding! From the rooms to the service to the whole atmosphere of the hotel. I couldn’t ask for a better stay. I will definitely be back. The rooms were not only super clean but absolutely gorgeous. All of the stuff that we encounter a super friendly as well. Already planning my trip back for the summer!

Hotel was very clean. Staff very attentive. They must have scent pumping through vents because it smelled really nice. Kids loved the colorful decor and the pool table downstairs. Food at Fiona’s was great. We really enjoyed our stay! My 8 year old left the following note for “his review”.

Prime location and cute decor all around. Downside is the hotel doesn’t provide key amenities. Such as vending machines, room service, bottled water, or snacks in the room. So beware and bring your own snacks and beverages.

I have never stayed at such a fun hotel. The vibe was 70s-80s with lots of color and fun items. There was a pool table, bar, and OVERSIZED PENCIL! The room has similar vibe of 70s-80s. It’s right on campus and about 10 min walk from the zoo (the Christmas lights were awesome!). Great experience and they are dog friendly which was awesome as my pup was with us!

Furst time stay recently. The location is great, I highly recommend walking around because the surrounding area is full of interesting architecture. The hotel itself feels very welcoming and inclusive and rich with culture. The Cincinnati centric theme is fun and engaging. I found myself looking up what I saw learn of its local ties. I found the accommodations to be most satisfactory. I got breakfast at Fiona's, biscuits and gravy and coffee. It was good, and service was great. I would look forward to visiting again!

Loved the design of the room although it was a little dirty. My toddler loved running around looking at the books and bright colored decor. Food and drink at the restaurant were okay. Unfortunately I left my large over the ear bluetooth headphones in the room, I contacted the hotel multiple times and I was told they were unable to locate them.

This is a review of Fiona’s the restaurant inside the hotel. Overall, food was really good, better than expected, basic burger, chicken fingers, sandwich place. Portions were good for the price. Fries were great, hand cut. This is a very casual place with plenty of space for kids to run around. Service was a bit slow but overall a ice experience. We would consider coming again.

Loved our stay at this hotel! The decor is very unique and so fun. The location was fantastic as the hotel is within walking distance to many things. The staff was friendly. We also enjoyed eating dinner at the hotel restaurant. Would definitely stay here again!

The room/ hotel overall was clean, smelled nice (yes, smelled nice and fresh) fun decor and the staff were friendly and helpful with options for things to do and food options. Ended up having the hot italian sandwich with fries from the bar and it was delightful! Great stay!

The Graduate Cincinnati has a wonderful staff of people with great customer service. I have visited the hotel several times, but this was my first time staying in the junior suite, and it is gorgeous. The junior suite is very spacious, with a separate room for dining and entertainment and a mini refrigerator. By the way, each room has their own big screen TV, which comes in handy when your friends want to watch sports and one of your favorite movies is playing. 😁 The hotel is centrally located near shops, restaurants, the Cincinnati Zoo, and Cincinnati Union Terminal. Thank you!

Could not have had a better place to stay during my work trip at Cincinnati Children’s! I felt safe, and the walk was so easy. The decor was so unique and fun. The room was really nice, and my view was great. The ability to have a full breakfast and my iced coffee before my day was so amazing. Thanks Puck and Sid for your great service!! Made my day was more manageable not having to worry about my morning energy. Hotel was in walking distance to the hospital, zoo, and a few restaurants. I’ve never been to Cincinnati before, and the Graduate has made it been a place to remember. If I have the chance, I will be back! :)

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary. The location was nice however we noticed a lot of issues with our stay which was a disappointment for it being our anniversary. The front desk was friendly however the rate we booked the hotel was not what we were given. We would have booked somewhere else however it was more expensive to go somewhere else during our stay. We were told we would be reimbursed the difference but that never occurred and it’s been a month. The room was dirty upon our entry and there was fecal matter left over in the toilet. To say the least, our stay here was unfortunate. I would recommend seeking other options. After calling the manager I was sent to a voicemail and left my info to be contacted back with no answer. I’m sure there is better places to stay in the area.

Cute-ish themed hotel. Decent value, very convenient to the medical center and CCHMC. Rooms felt quite dated and my bathroom had a stale almost moldy smell. Front desk was very helpful. Fiona's was a fine place to get a convenient bite. The gym was pretty uninspiring.

What made Graduate ratings go down for me is that Breakfast was not included, when we arrived at night we wanted to order coffee they said that the cafe is closed. Food menu is very limited on things I recommend for you to bring your own water. No water machine available just( ice.) When calling the front desk a bunch a times there would be no answer. When final someone answered I asked for more water it seemed like they did not want to bring up some more. Until I mentioned that I am a mom that pumps milk for baby. The couch and the carpet in the room needs deep cleaning (Dusty). Will not be planning or recommening to come back and stay at the Graduate Hotel again.

Very cute hotel close to the Cincinnati Zoo with rooms with great beds and a very friendly and caring staff. The bathroom was awful and really detracted from the experience due to the lack of cleanliness. Overall, worth staying however.

The parking garage is easy to find and right next to hotel. The staff was very nice. Rooms are awesome! There is interesting things to look at all over the hotel. Picture opportunities everywhere. Unique things to do like free bike rental, board games, ect. There is no pool. The hotel is quiet. I had no issues while there. Would stay there again.

It was definitely not a motel where I would stay again. The staff was very kind and friendly. The grounds are lovely and pets are allowed. That's where all the good ends. There are NO amenities. $10 a day for parking, no refrigerator or microwave, no decent TV. The shower is terrible - especially if you are a woman. No way to shave your legs. No food available except at a kiosk which was closed about half the time. Never again!

Pros: good location if you're visiting the university. Convenient parking. Weird but unique decor. Cons: small bathroom, door opens into the shower. No fan. Lack of outlets. Elevators frequently out. Good attempt at a retrofit.

The hotel decor as stated is neat. The location of the hotel to the zoo was nice. Was there 2 nights for mg birthday. Water pressure was much to be desired to say the least. Also, a big cockroach or a bug that looks like that was in the shower. When I say big, I mean BIG. It was the length of my pinky. Bathroom didn’t look like it had been swept. Also, the hallway to our room were dirty and needed to be vacuumed. Ate at the bar/“restaurant” the first night were were there due to being tired and didn’t want to drive to find a place. Waitresses were very nice and helpful with questions about the food and area. Food itself lacked flavor and was really greasy. You have to pay to park. Parking is one word scary. Makes me nervous especially with all the police call phones throughout each level. Loved the location but when we go back to the zoo will have to rethink of where we would stay

Wonderful staff, amazing local artists, decor and theme. Fiona’s was great pizza and hit the spot. Our server Nicole D. was so knowledgeable giving us the history of the hotel and its featured decor. She was very attentive, polite and a joy to dine with. She made our evening! Will definitely be staying at the Graduate Cincinnati again!

Amazing place to stay if you’re visiting the zoo! The decor of this hotel is epic! The ambiance is as well! The restaurant could offer more of a selection of entrees, but overall very cool place to stay! The staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay with them was comfortable. Nice size rooms with comfortable beds. Very clean.

This place was great! The staff, the rooms, decor, location, food, and cost. Easy check in/check out and the rooms were clean with comfortable beds.

First time staying here. Conveniently across the street from the hospital which we were going to the next day. Very unique decoration throughout, rich in Cincinnati history. Very clean and the employees were very nice and helpful. Parking garage underneath. Will definitely stay here again.

The hotel was clean and very unique decor. No in room coffee…this is important stuff to know my friends! The Staff could have been friendlier and more professional but overall I wouldn’t NOT stay here again. They did refuse our request for a late checkout (we only needed 30min) and the hotel was not booked even to half capacity. Being that it was a Sunday we were thinking they could have been more accommodating. Oh well.

We had the most fabulous stay at this hotel! The staff is excellent. Sweet Will checked us in and couldn't have been more helpful, as was Wissa who worked the reception desk. Alexa took care of our coffee needs in such a sweet manner at Fiona's. This is an upscale, whimsical place to stay while visiting The Queen City! Book your room now!

I stayed here one night after pulling off the road. I thought it was a pretty cool hotel, not too expensive, and nice bar inside. Unfortunately, I did have an incident happen during my stay that did end up making me pack up and leave at 3 am. However, the staff (Mark the front desk host and the maintenance man) and even the hire up management (Alicia and Wade) were stellar at making up for the incident. I’d say the best service I’ve had at a hotel, they do care about their guests. So thank you to all of them for helping me out! For sure give the graduate a try!

Mark at the check in counter is the absolute best! He should be employee of the year and receive a raise. He is exactly who you want to be greeted by everywhere you go. He has great energy and explained everything in great detail(parking, etc). Our room was very clean. My only complaint is for some reason the heat could not be adjusted in our room. I texted the front desk and did exactly as they instructed but it did not work.. so our room was a bit chilly for our 2 day stay. Other than that we have no complaints.
