I was a guest the weekend Sweet Adelines Harmony Heartland had their convention. I was there FOR convention ( as I have been years before). I thought the check in and check out went smoother than ever! Marcus, who checked us in was so bright eyed, friendly, and helpful. The man who checked us out was not wearing a name badge, but was also so friendly and helpful. He took time to explain about how to check out of the parking garage; ie, which way to put the tickets in the machine to get out of the garage. He also wrote the balance remaining on the back of our gift cards and was patient with us when we wanted to spend the balances down by buying snacks in the little area near his desk. I miss the fact that we can no longer order breakfast from the menu and have room service as it helped us meet our rehearsal times more efficiently, but do understand why it is no longer in effect. Friendliness of the staff outweighed the fact that the Breakfast Buffet was the only option. Thank You and keep up the caring, friendly service!!!

Stayed here in December. Room 411. The water view was excellent. Besides that the room didn’t have all of what one might expect. There are no drawers to unpack your clothes into. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair in the shower. The room was noisy all day and night. Water can be heard running in bathrooms and showers in rooms all around. I thought the neighbors bathroom was in my closet. One minor missed opportunity: the view of the water was good but breakfast was served in the lobby and not in the rooms on the water. These rooms had tables but we’re not open for use.

This hotel is a newly renovated and rooms are comfortable and clean. Better than most of the Marriotts in Cincinnati. The view from the bedroom is breathtaking. River and Cincinnati skyline. Added a picture taken from the room. My room was close to the elevator and I could hear it all night. The restaurant was crowded and may be there was a party last week and a group was yelling until almost midnight which was surprising and unacceptable. The bathroom is a little small, but thats how the hotel is. I stayed 2 consecutive weeks here and think most bathrooms will be same. There are no drawers to keep my clothes in so everything has to stay in the suitcase. Off course you can hang a few shirts and pants. Good hotel to stay for 1 - 2 nights not for long term stays and would be uncomfortable if traveling with a family.

I was looking forward to my first business trip to Cincinnati and my stay here based on the positive reviews but I was extremely disappointed by the end of it. I booked 3 nights and the hotel system somehow only had me down for 2 nights despite the Marriott app and my initial email confirmation showing 3 nights. After 2 nights, housekeeping and guest services were bombarding my room with door knocks and calls, and after I explained multiple times my booking was for 3 nights, they somehow added a 4th night to my booking which I did not want or need. Due to the confusion around my reservation, my door key stopped working multiple times making it very inconvenient to access my room. I had to make my way down to guest services over 3 times to get my key fixed. At one point I called the front desk from outside my room and they took 10+ minutes to send someone to let me into my room. For the room specifically, the bathroom mirror light was not functioning properly so I had a very dim bathroom lights for my stay. The blankets had mold spots. There was no housekeeping. I raised my concerns to guest services and they did not seem to care. The only positives were good service from the restaurant staff, and the room view was nice. Will not be staying here again.

Rooms are much like other hotel rooms. A/C doesn't work well if you like a cold room...ask for a fan. Mini fridge is extra mini, shower had great water pressure, beds are not memory foam. If you have back issues the bed may not jive. No hot tub. Pool (indoor) is small but you can swim laps. Room was clean and staff is excellent! Don't miss Fendlay Market...get there and be in line for bread 30 minutes prior to opening to score some of the best bread you'll ever have (Blue Oven Bakery). Then hit Makers Bakers for the best banana pudding outside of the deep south. Parking available nextdoor under Embassy Suits is 12.00 a day (over 4 hours) Did I mention the staff?... the best!

Nice, clean and centrally located. Bed was comfy. Bathroom roomy and clean, except there were a few mold spots at the seam where the shower tile and floor met. Unique to me feature was that the lobby was on the 3rd floor. Gorgeous view of the river at the back. Restaurant and Buffet served good food. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed on the top floor and the view of the river was stunning. There was a fireworks show from a barge right outside our room and it was awesome! Rooms are super nice. Breakfast buffet is SO GOOD!

Beautiful hotel right on the riverfront overlooking Cincinnati. Close to shops, food, churches, festivities. Parking structure on sight is very pricey but there are more affordable spots close by. The bar is quaint, lap pool is clean and big. Workout room. No sauna or hot tub. Excellent service

Everything was perfect. Got an upgraded room with a city view!! Spectacular room. Our room was clean and modern. Only negative could be the parking situation. We just paid for valet and pretended like we were sophisticated.

Hugh Moore and the entire staff went above an beyond to make sure my wedding weekend was amazing . Not only the day of but the 18 months leading up to my wedding day ! The staff is amazing , the hotel is super clean and very close to all your needs. I can't recommend them enough. We had 26 rooms blocked off and not one compliant ! We will be giving them our business in any time we are needed to stay the night outside our home locally. Thank you again to the staff for making my wedding weekend perfect me and my entire family and friends who stayed !

Great location but the rooms seem to been updated very hastily and just have some flaws that I wouldn’t have expected in a total this nice. The biggest negative was by far the pool area, there was no seat for families, maybe 5-7 total chairs. The best highlight was by far the service! Every employee we encountered was amazing!

Rooms are nice, people are friendly, food is good. The worse shower head in the industry! Holiday inn Express has much better showers. Please replace all of them!!!!

I wish I could give this place a zero. I arrived at 3am with 2 small children due to flight delays. My stay had been booked in February and I checked in the hotel online before my 5 hr flight prior. The very rude front desk claimed that my reservation was cancelled and " oh well, we are booked, I don't know what to tell you" and proceeded to ignore me like I was invisible. I even had someone call the front desk to at least request a refund and I watched this man pick the phone up and hang it up over and over again. He refused to take the call or even offer me options. The level of disrespect was insane. Me and my children were left stranded at 3am and eventually went back to the airport to sleep there until the morning since every hotel was booked. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worse enemy.

Great hotel. Breakfast buffet has relatively standard items, but it tastes great. Clean modern rooms with great views. The area can be sketchy if you roam into the wrong place. Can get loud at night because of the bar in the middle of the hotel.

Beautiful views from the balcony and very nice staff.. It’s a well maintained place worth the visit for sure. The only bad thing is you have to switch elevators from the garage to the rooms and the room does not have a microwave. Other than that no issues.

The entire staff was awesome! Only one misunderstanding with cleaning service which may have been language barrier. Room view was extraordinary! However, no dresser and a pint-sized fridge. Pool, gym, bar (with some really good eats, but a limited menu), and a ton of business meeting rooms, all sizes. Location outstanding. Quick walks to almost anywhere, including across the bridge to Cincinnati. Only other negative (which is no reflection on overall review) is there are only full glass elevators, which are not too big. Not good for someone who fears heights! (Stayed 8 nights on business.) Overall a really nice hotel.

Hotel has a great location and view across the river to Cincinnati. It is a convention hotel, so it's very huge and valet parking is 38 a night. They do have a restaurant but it's fairly small and we went for dinner. Last night the service was very slow and chaotic. There are restaurants in walking distance, approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Our rooms were clean and bright. We had a beautiful view of the riverfront and such a great sight at night when all the lights come on.

Hotel was nicely located on the river, but be careful of charges. During arrival, there were extra charges on our itinerary. Then they told us no rooms were ready, but asked us to accept a different room. Then they allowed the noise in the lobby to go on until 3am and it was a huge distraction to a good night sleep. Finally, they charged us for valet when we didn’t even have a car there. So we fought the charges and they said it would be removed….well 5 days later and no resolution or response so had to file a claim with CC. They add a bunch of things thinking people will not review the bill and just pay.

The standard of the rooms is what's expected of a Marriott. Beds are comfy, air con works and rooms are clean. The breakfast however is appalling! They serve powdered scrambled eggs. When asked, they were unwilling to fry a couple of eggs. Whilst there is a business lounge, they won't open it on weekends which is pretty poor as well.

Bathtub backed up, showered in ankle deep water. GROSS 😝 😝 😝 Paid double what the room was worth due to it being a weekend with several events happening in Cincinnati. NO FREE COFFEE for what we paid for the room. I feel we should get free coffee. Holiday Inn has free coffee. All we were offered was an apology and a breakfast voucher, which we declined because we were meeting friends elsewhere for breakfast.

I attended a 2 day conference here for work. The hotel was great, the meeting rooms were comfortable, food was delicious, and staff was very friendly.

Huge disappointment. Too many things wrong. Shower dripped all night, only one elevator working, sheets ripped and coming off the bad. Room badly needed a paint job. No onsite parking other than expensive valet. Not worth the $$$

The room was ok. My closet doors didn't close and every time the ac/heat turned on it sounded like someone had opened the door into the room. To top it all off, the computer system changed my room after I checked in and I walked into my room to find an employee in my room "looking for me" who demanded I come to the front desk because I shouldn't be in that room. The staff was very accommodating, but that really put me off. I don't understand what reason they had to be in my room "looking for me" when I clearly was not in the room.

I've stayed at dozens of hotels over the years and generally never give good reviews or even bother reviewing because of an extremely uncomfortable sleep. There is room for some minor tweaks at this Marriott but this hotel is generally solid. Namely the quality of mattresses leading to good sleep, the comfort that rooms provide despite being relatively small and the relaxed but friendly and helpful staff. Our family spent five days here and the proximity to downtown Cincinnati, Covington and Newport was awesome. The evening views of the river were lovely and our kids loved the pool. Great place to stay when visiting the area.

Everything about my stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and modern. And view was amazing. I can honestly say this would be in my top 3 of hotel experiences! I will definitely book here the next time I'm in town.

Good breakfast in lobby, nice view in the room. The cleanliness is not even close to being good and the only good attention was that of the breakfast host. All very plain for a Marriott. You must place the garbage bags yourself in the bins in the room. The bathroom had black mold in the shower. No courtesy tea/coffee area in the hotel. The coffee maker in the room was not clean so I didn't want to use it. The parking is crossing the street, a public parking fee apply, also you can use the Embassy suites public parking for $10 overnight. The rooms doesn’t have microwave but they have one in the lobby area 🙈. I had better experiences at Embassy suites by Hilton and at 3-star hotels like the newly remodeled Holiday Inn.

It worked me that absolutely nobody inside the hotel, neither guests not staff (including waiters it barkeepers,v with whom we are in closer contact) bother to wear a face mask. That said, I found the service to be very good, and the stay was a pleasure as always.

Expensive parking. No bathroom at swimming pool had to take at least 2 elevators to get anywhere. No microwave in room. Employees did not wear masks. No water pressure. Terrible television. Lighting in room poor. Swimming pool cold. Don't stay

Cincinnati Marriott is a beautiful facility for a wedding. The atrium made for a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and the ballroom downstairs was perfect for the reception. We attended a family friend's wedding and it was beautiful. I want to give a shout out to Aisha Wright, she was the pleasant lady that checked us in and out of our room. She just has such a warm and welcoming personality. Loved her. Room 1517 overall was nice but seems like that room was not constructed correctly. TV was unlevel. So was the shower basket. Speaking of the shower, why is the stationary glass of the shower at the back and the moving one is closer to the toilet making you climb over the toilet to get out. Minor things you notice if you have a glass sliding door at home. Overall experience was a positive one. I would recommend for any event you may hold.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any stay. This website will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area. I have been staying here for a very long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down. Everything about my stay was wonderful! The staff was very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean and modern. And view was amazing. I can honestly say this would be in my top 3 of hotel experiences! I will definitely book here the next time I'm in town.

Hotel is very clean, and feels modern. If not a bit quiet even. Hotel room was extremely spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable. Only disappointment was there was no hot-tub with the pool. Gym was big and had everything you could need. Staff was friendly, helpful and personally loved the atrium effect. Good views of Ohio, rivers and bridges. And close enough to walk to downtown - about 23 min over the bridge. Would certainly stay again.

My sister, niece and I were there for an event and stayed 2 nights. The staff was friendly and the room was great. The view was phenomenal. the valet staff was witty and engaging each time we needed them. The event was there in the hotel and I hope it will be again next year as I will be back and look forward to staying with you all again. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was when I checked in the front desk said I had a King room but I had booked a 2 queen room and was told I would have to take the king but then another associate indeed found me the room I booked. I was given complimentary breakfast tickets which I thought was a nice touch. The breakfast buffet was good.

My sister got married this weekend and my entire family and the bridal party stayed here. It was very clean and the staff… where do I start. They were beyond amazing!!! All of them were so friendly and accommodating! They went above and beyond the entire weekend!!! I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will be giving all our business to this hotel! I highly recommend them!

Went on new years Eve for my friends wedding reception. There was four different wedding receptions going on at once they had no trouble pointing me in the correct direction, the DJ was good, they had the countdown, everything that would be at a normal wedding reception. The view was excellent overlooking the river everything was nice and clean services excellent

Love ya Marriott but my room was not as clean as you advertised it to be. Bathroom was clean. While I'm watching on TV the massive cleaning effort Marriott performs I'm looking at the crumbs and hair on the counter space and table. The staff and other amenities more than made up for that deficiency. Great location with a dynamite view of the river and Cincinnati. I'm still recommending this hotel.

There were some hairs on the toilet seat as well as on the bed sheet along with a fresh stain. Rooms are pretty small and minimalistic which makes it a good stay for only a night or two. Has an airplane feel to it. Staff is polite. The location is pretty close to the city with a view of the river and bridge. Overall a good experience but wouldn't stay for more than a night. Rooms are at a good price. Valet parking is extra.

Stayed here during a sales meeting for work. Rooms are beautiful, with comfortable beds and plenty of room to spread out. I appreciate the large bottles of shampoo and conditioner in the shower instead of tiny individual bottles. Service was outstanding and everyone from the check in desk to housekeeping to the valet was friendly and warm. If you're on the river side of the building, the views are spectacular.

This modern hotel is beautiful and in close proximity to a lot of main attractions in downtown Cincinnati. There are also many great restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was decent, but maybe not worth the extra fee. I traveled here for work, but had I been here on my own dime, I’d probably opt for walking to one of restaurants nearby. The gym and pool are very clean and serve their purpose. I would gladly stay here again.

Hotel was perfect. Clean modern rooms and plenty of areas to ‘hang out’ for our wedding guests. Great location! Staff was amazing and so friendly! Never said NO like other hotels. Went out of way to accommodate every request! Ayisha was fantastic!! The most pleasant and personable and helpful person!! Thank you!!

Nice hotel, nice rooms, and clean. The front desk staff are a blast. They made me laugh and smile every time I approached the desk for something. The rest of the service was great all around. As far as some constructive feedback goes; the exterior of the windows were filthy. Trying to take a photo of that amazing downtown view and the windows are covered in dirt and grime that has been there a while. Second; The shower heads are too fancy and in the end weren't that nice. Other than that, full marks.

Pros: -Great location -Clean and nicely decorated -Friendly and attentive staff Cons: -Check-in was a pain. I called to see if my room was ready 1 hour early and was on hold for 20 minutes. I ended up just going to the hotel (while still on hold) and the front desk told me they did not have a room ready for me. The woman said she would send me a text when it was ready but I never got anything. (I did get a free breakfast voucher as an apology.) -No complimentary breakfast or even coffee (other than the machine in each room). -Valet only parking. I found out later that there is a public parking garage attached to the hotel, but when I checked in the front desk didn't mention it, just said valet only. Valet was usually pretty good, but it's still a pain. -Housekeeping is not automatic, you have to request it. I asked the front desk after several days of no housekeeping and they told me I should have been notified about that when I checked in, but no one mentioned it. -In that vein, there was no information in the room (ie. about restaurant hours, room service menu, laundry services, etc.). I did see some handouts at the front desk that looked like they might have had that info, but no one offered it to me when I checked in. -No wipes in the fitness center for a whole week, so no equipment was getting cleaned. I told the front desk twice. -Separate elevators from the main entrance to the lobby/lobby to the rooms. The lobby-entrance elevator is extremely slow and only one was operational the whole week I stayed. (Once I stuck my foot in the door to stop it from closing and it fully closed on my foot. It was very painful but I don't regret it because it was better than waiting for the elevator to come back.) -Weird small things about the bathroom... No hook or rack to hang a hand towel, so I just had to leave it on the side of the sink. Also the shampoo/conditioner were very watered down. -TL/DR: Over $2500 for the week - lots of small issues that make it definitely not worth that.

As an ex valet employee, Hugh Moore, the Convention Services Manager, is one of the nicest individuals I have ever had the privilege to talk to and know. He will do anything to assure everything is going well for the employees working at the Marriott, and anything to assure the guests at the hotel are having the most amazing stay possible. He is truly one of the most amazing people I have ever met.
