Great experience, loved the decor throughout the hotel and in my room, everything was very clean and front desk was awesome and courteous. The 4 things that were an inconvenience was the parking, the garage was very small. Second breakfast was pretty high $21 per person. Third if you have helium balloons you will not be allowed to bring them in as there was an issue with helium balloons accidentally getting lose and flying up into the air causing fire alarms to go off and causing the entire hotel to evacuate! Bummer, but they did say I could leave it in an office until I left or the option of blowing them up by mouth and bagging them up. It's understandable, but it should state that somewhere, lastly the light under the door was too bright as I like my room pretty dark, but I will definitely be back! It was worth it.

This place was amazing. We enjoyed walking around and looking at the art & decor. The room was luxurious and trendy at the same time. We had a corner room with floor-to-ceiling windows on two whole sides. The location is a bit out of the way. Meaning there isn’t anywhere nearby to walk to shops or restaurants but it is close enough to drive or Uber. We didn’t leave the hotel actually, we had a good meal in the lounge. The bartender was a neat guy to talk to, a good conversationalist. Not to mention a true professional, you could see how passionate he was about his work. The parking was free and the attached garage is nice and clean. It felt very safe. There was no valet but it’s not needed, the parking was convenient. I was very impressed all around, it is worth the money for a nice hotel. The Summit has the feel of a big city downtown four-star hotel. I have recommended it a couple of times already.

The reviews are very deceiving! Rooms were nice and clean. The food options in the hotel wasn’t good at all for high prices, highly recommend to eat out. The hotel atmosphere was nice but doesn’t offer basic essentials nor have microwaves in the rooms. The parking is a little weird so be careful! 3 stars over all

Nice hotel. Staff was super friendly and competent. Room was spacious, clean and the bed was really comfortable. The room art is different... But that was ok because we had a great conversation surrounding it. We enjoyed the public spaces including the library with pool table and shuffle board. The only potential challenge: they had limited parking in the parking garage. Otherwise you're parking on the street or in a lot down the hill and across the street. We got lucky both times and found spots but clearly, many did not. We will happily stay here again.

There for a one-day meeting. Parking is not adequate for hotel and a large conference. Room has huge pillars that block sight lines. Positives: excellent service, polite and friendly and attentive staff, delicious food, very clean, easy access to the hotel.

I’ve been coming to this hotel for 3 years on a consistent basis, the hotel is nice and clean has a good feel. The restaurant used to be really good but the quality has slowly declined.. too much to say here. The bar is great and Kyle is a pro bartender! Chef bring back the cheese plate and mashed potatoes with the Salmon.

Love this campus. As a Realtor with clients coming for weekend trips r see the area, this hotel and their amenities are excellent. The price is reasonable and the hotel is very new. Such a good location to so much to see and do, easy access to the highway. Great food court and bar areas.

Our room was fantastic, and the staff was amazing! Went out of there way to make sure we had everything we needed, and did a great job with the wedding that was held there. Everything from the rooms for the bride and groom and party to get ready, to the ceremony space, to the reception in the gallery. Restaurant and bar pricing was decent, and the food and drinks were great! Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel stay was an overall disappointment. I actually came into town to visit Cincinnati for business and was originally booked at another hotel. I left the original hotel because of the poor condition of the room, and I booked the Summit last minute, so I could get some much needed rest. Upon check-in, there was a birthday party going on downstairs. I was not bothered by this, until I got to my room and realized that the noise from the party traveled all the way up from the atrium into the room. All I could hear was yelling and screaming all night. I called down to the front desk to ask when the party would end, and I was told that it would be over at midnight. MIDNIGHT? I literally came to the hotel just to get a full night's sleep for a long drive the next day. If I was told that I would have to endure that noise all night, I would have found another hotel. Very disappointing. Then on top of this, the fire alarm went off at 2AM, forcing all the guests to evacuate the building. There was little to no communication about the incident and the fire department came for all of 2 seconds and left. No explanation until the next morning when I woke up and saw that there was a letter under the door, claiming that the alarm went off appropriately in response to some unidentified "trigger." There was no effort to rectify the situation by offering guests a later check out or a breakfast voucher or some partial refund. I left the hotel with no rest and so disappointed. I booked this hotel based on the good reviews but I would give this hotel no more than 2 stars. The 2 stars are for the modern rooms, lobby, complimentary garage parking available, but that's it. Customer service is lacking. Bare bones; no help at check in to tell you where to find amenities or direct you to the elevator even. The way the sound transmits from the atrium makes it very noisy, and if you want sleep, this is not the place to go. Clearly, they are not up front about when they have events and how that might affect your stay. No effort to make things right for guests. Won't come back.

Really disappointed with my experience here. The rooms were modern and clean, and that's why I'm giving it two stars. The bed wasn't comfortable and I could hear partying from events going on in the hotel late at night. The walls were thin and we could hear talking in other rooms. There wasn't enough parking for guests, and we had to park in a sketchy vacant lot near by. We were supposed to get a free chef's choice dessert and free breakfast with our reservation as part of an anniversary deal. I asked in advance if the dessert could be vegan, and if there were vegan options at breakfast. They assured me that this could be done. When we got there, I asked again about the dessert and breakfast at the front desk and they assured us that everything we requested would be waiting in our room. Nothing was there when we got into the room. We gave them the benefit of the doubt thinking it would come later. We left for the evening and returned late. Nothing was there when we returned. In the morning I called the front desk asking about breakfast and the dessert. They said nothing about the dessert, and told us the breakfast wasn't free, that it cost $22 per person. I stated again that part of what we paid for was dessert and breakfast. They put me on hold, and after a while came on and said someone was supposed to give us breakfast vouchers the previous night, and I would need to come down to the desk to get them. We got our vouchers and went to breakfast, which for $22 per person should have been amazing. It wasn't. It was the typical hotel breakfast buffet. The only vegan options were oatmeal, a plain bagel with nothing to put on it, and fruit. This is a pricy hotel, and I really expected more for the money. You can get better service and the same options from a Holiday Inn or something similar. You're basically paying for a few modern aesthetics.

The rooms are beautiful and the service is wonderful. However, for the price of this hotel the amenities are pretty boring and the location is unimpressive. It's disappointing that there is no pool at this hotel. The outdoor terraces which are a big selling point by the bar, are entirely unusable in the winter season. They need to have heat lamps and fire pits readily available to make this amenity worth the heavy marketing hype they have on their website. I don't know if I would stay here again unless the amenities were upgraded or something was added to make the stay more interesting at this price range. The rooms are genuinely beautiful, quiet, showers are great, beds are comfortable. I just can't confidently rate this hotel next to others in its price range. I can stay at resorts in Orlando, Huntington Beach, Chicago for this price range that offer way more for my stay. It's a shame because the property is beautiful, it's just lacking something meaningful. Our view is of fields, Rally's fast food, and a hospital -- which is just sort of strange for a property / luxury construction like this.

A very interestingly designed and appointed hotel. The room we stayed in, as I presume all to be, was decorated in a kind of a Scandinavian modern, at least that's how it appeared to my untrained eye. Regardless, my wife and I liked the room.

My daughter and I stayed for two nights at the Hotel. It was large, clean and the beds were comfortable. It lacked warmth and creature comfort. When I got home I found out that an additional $100.00 was taken from my credit card and I still have no explanation for it...I will never stay there again. UR

Rooms were very nice and clean. Housekeeping did not do very much besides in terms of cleaning (looked like just a wipe down and took the trash, didn’t replenish towels or facial tissues or replace water glasses, which is ok). Staff are all very nice. Room was very quiet.

I stayed at the Summit Hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel was great. Rooms beautiful and the hotel gets A plus for cleanliness. The staff is also excellent and very professional and helpful I enjoyed my stay very much.

Business trip, 2 nights. Guestrooms are modern, good size, large TV, big shower. Meeting room large with stage and two screens, refreshment room nearby. Premise food for lunch wasn't bad, breakfast buffet was average, dinner was really good, especially the brisket. Solo breakfast is $22, an iPhone charger $26, a bit steep.

My husband and I just celebrated our wedding at The Summit Hotel and we couldn't have picked a better spot for all of our guests. The rooms alone were so unique and all the local art was so fun to look at! Everything that you could want in a hotel was there: a cafe, a game room, and Overlook Bar + Kitchen had the best view. The Front Desk Staff (Alycen was wonderful!) and the Sales Team (Jen and Brent were on it!) were amazing and we will definitely be back to enjoy the hotel again!

The hotel itself was beautiful, the suite we stayed in was amazing and spacious we only stayed one night to be closer to our kids but for one night the price was high but other than that the employees were super nice and helpful I enjoyed looking at the art on the walls we didn’t get to try the food area due to it being closed but we did try the bar and one of the places on site which was really good we had the pizza everyone was friendly.

Really nice location just outside downtown Cincinnati. They have some really nice offerings on room selections if you want something just a little nicer. Newer hotel with an incredible design. Lots of open spaces to hang out in if you're traveling with a group. Very comfortable sleep. Nice TV tech options if you want to enjoy a movie. Plenty of snacks to purchase if needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative I would say would be the breakfast buffet. The selection is just crazy and the pastries were amazing. However, the eggs, potatoes and a few other things were just okay. Seemed to be a standard Aramark style breakfast. It was just fine, but again for the price and what the selection was, it was more than adequate. I would 1000 percent stay here again.

Trendy, eclectic, and modern facility. Extremely clean and fresh. Every aspect of our stay has been outstanding. Live music in the bar on Friday. The outdoor patio space wasn't open yet but looked very inviting. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Super quiet so we slept great! The night clerk with the dog was unfriendly but everyone else was nice.

This Hotel was a last minute pick-up. The original hotel that we where going to stay at was disgusting. This room was very big. My wife absolutely loved it. Could have been a little cleaner. Especially for the price. Didn't realize til I got home that room service double dipped and my room credit never got used. Plan to reach out to them and hopefully won't be to much of headache to correct this mistake. I do recommend this place.

Thus is definitely a hidden 💎, I have no complaints what so ever. Nice classy hotel, very clean, the decor was nice, you don't really have to go outside the hotel for anything! Loved it will be back! Staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

I am giving this hotel 5 star because of the staff, particularly Rodney (Guest Services) brought a smile to my face. After a long day of dealing with personal matters and coming back to a requested room service that was omitted. I was visibly upset and disappointed to say the least when I walked into my room. Rodney provided towels and a complimentary breakfast voucher. His thoughtfulness and attention to customer needs did not go unnoticed. Any hotel can be nice but the employees make the hotel even nicer! Thanks for great customer service.

Beautiful hotel but we drive a Ford f450 dually and this hotel only has parking garages and no parking lot, the parking garages can only accommodate smaller vehicles. Definitely could not accommodate our diesel truck with four tires on the rear end. Th8s was a very unwelcoming experience and i feel it should have been mentioned somewhere in the fine print that I was reading before booking. We Definitely will not be back since they can not safely provide parking for people who drive pickup trucks!

From the moment you walk in you can tell the place is clean and well attended to. The rooms are very comfortable. Fitness room is not like most in that it is not an after thought. It is full of equipment and space. Definitely worth the value. Appreciate that parking is free but don't drive a large vehicle because it is tricky to park. Only wish is they had a hot tub.

This is a great place to stay. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pillows could have been a little softer. Very clean. Room service was where they lost my last star. They made a mistake on my order and then came back with my original order and part of the order was missing from the order. A hotel of such grandeur has to fix this. Definitely a sub par experience. Conference facilities are great. Bar on-site closes very early (9pm i think).

We recently stayed here while visiting Cincinnati. It's a beautiful hotel with very cool artwork and a grand lobby. The specific reasons this hotel gets 2 stars are as follows:. 1. The noise from the atrium travels up to ALL the rooms since it has a tall open atrium. The hotel could improve this by adding door seals to the bottom of the hotel doors. 2. The opening at the bottom of the doors brings in a lot of light, reducing the darkness in the rooms when you're trying to sleep. 3. The computer (only 1 in the hotel) had a non-functioning keyboard, making it worthless. 3. While we were walking across the lobby, we overheard the custodian staff complaining to the front desk staff (across the lobby) about having to clean up a mess. Isn't that his job? 4. The restaurant was uninspiring, had a limited menu, and terrible service. 5. The parking garage is tight especially for larger vehicles. At a budget hotel I wouldn't care about these items, but the Summit is not a budget priced hotel.

Greeted by Isabella at the front desk her kind demeanor and bright personality instantly made us feel like this stay was the right choice. The room was cool and clean, with nice amenities. We loved the gym which we used in the morning and the breakfast restaurant was absolutely delicious! The parking garage is nice...but no one knows how to park and it fills up super fast. really my only negative! if you go there please park in the lines so we all have a parking spot, do not be rude!

I'm so happy I got the chance to stay at this amazing hotel! So close to the famous market, lots of stores and museums. The hotel alone is loaded with many amenities for their guests to enjoy. There is a restaurant on the top floor. The library on the lower level is a chill spot with a relaxing vibe for their guests. The gym is loaded with cycle bikes, weights and a yoga studio, what more could one want? Don't forget to grab a Starbucks coffee on the first floor and walk through the art museum!

Wow we ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE. The beds were beyond comfy. The rooftop garden was a great place to chill. The lounge and common areas were so nicely equipped with comfy seating and great aesthetics for photo ops. Great for business trips and meetings or just to stay. Everything was up to date and well taken care of. The food was great and the service was excellent. We would love to come back next time we are in town.

Very nice hotel. The art gallery was constantly booked so I wasn't able to go in, which was disappointing (this is one of the reasons I chose to stay here). Their library is also described as "extensive," which is a far reach - it was more like a glorified meeting room. Other than that the rooms were top notch - I'd definitely stay here again.

  • 4/5 Azra H. 2 years ago on Google
Nice clean and comfortable. However, I don't see the value of the place unless I needed to be near that area and couldn't find a more affordable place. The parking garage is strange but it is free, it appears as if people wreck their cars often into the concrete columns. I enjoyed having dinner there. The only thing that would have made up for anything I didn't like would probably be a free breakfast. Usually there are only four criteria for a hotel for me: free breakfast, comfortable bed, clean, and fairly affordable.

  • 5/5 Jessica M. 2 years ago on Google
Phenomenal customer service, clean & fresh rooms, lots of on-site food options including Starbucks in the lobby and grill/bar and breakfast spot on 4th floor. The parking here is exactly what you expect from a high-quality hotel. Well ventilated and brightly lit garage with 3 floors. Lovely bathrooms in rooms and dreamy luxurious showers. Convenience store in lobby, and the ALWAYS available and friendly staff put the cherry on top of this superior hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay here🤩

This hotel does not offer a complimentary breakfast. It does have a restaurant. The restaurant buffet is $21 on weekends for example. So it’s bit pricey. It’s a nice hotel with some nice amenities (library room and exercise room are very nice and there is some decent artwork.) But no swimming pool, no laundry room etc) Rooms are comparable to a Holiday Inn or Drury. There are also no microwaves in the rooms which is almost a must for a lot of guests(like me). So I brought a microwave into my room, and then was told by the manager that they are not allowed because they are a fire hazard due to the way the building is electrically wired. What!?? The wiring in a supposedly upscale hotel is not safe enough to support a small electrical appliance?!! Really? I’m not sure if I believe this. A thought in my head is that the hotel may be trying to drive extra traffic to the overpriced restaurant. Either way, doesn’t matter. Unsafe building or price gouging… I’m not very impressed.
