Took my 5yr old grandson here. It's actually 3 Museums and they have an Omni theater. There is so many hands on things to do. The Nada Museum is so visually stunning. You can even drive a Mars Land Rover, go on a space mission or simply enjoy some astronaut ice cream sold at the gift shop. Real life tornados and lots of animal taxidermy in the Museum of Natural History. We spent 3 hours and will need to back. Museum is located at the union station originally built in 1933. It's been restored to original design.

Great experience for the whole family! They have updated recently and included self service dining options, bigger bathrooms, more elevator access, new exhibits, learning centers, and more local history. It can get really hot while you are inside but there are plenty of places to rest and sit down through the exhibits. There is always plenty of parking but you do have to pay for it. One ticket will get you into three different areas. You pay separately got IMAX movies, the special exhibit which is currently a Lego exhibit, and the Holocaust exhibit. Food and drinks are very expensive. It was about $10 for two 6 oz milks. There is really cool imaginary play options for kids in the Children’s Museum area. It is like a whole little town with a grocery store? Car mechanic, vet office, nursing, diner, house, ice cream cart, lemonade stand and a bus. There is also a large water table area and a crafting area. The Treehouse area is dark and can be hard to find your kid if they climb to the top. Parents can climb to top with kids by using a set of stairs though. The science and history museum feature dinosaur bones and interactive gravity and air simulations. Next, there is a space area with opportunities to drive a robot, prepare a spaceship for liftoff, a full dome-like projection as if you are in space, and learn how to pack for a trip to space. The next parts involve learning about prehistoric animals. Mammoths and sloths and such. You journey to a cave which you walk through and learn about cave stuff. There is also a local history exhibit which is featured in my photos. Someone rebuilt Cincinnati and they have it displayed here at the museum. This part talks about the major influential companies and products that came from Cincinnati. There is a really cool set up at the end of an old timer town and steamboat that you can walk through. I recently went through the holocaust exhibit. It is a heavy experience but justifiably so. The exhibit features local survivors and their stories. There are some artifacts and many videos to watch.

The Children's Museum was better than I remember it being when I was a kid. My son had a blast! Would highly recommend. Can't wait to take him there again. Also the rest of the museum blew me away. We were last here 6 years, before the renovations, and they've definitely upped their game in that time. The renovations were worth it.

Visiting from GA! Great experience....very interesting museum. I loved how they remodeled the old train station into this museum (3 in 1). Lots to see and do. Kids were very enthusiastic about everything! The food was pricey, so we took a trip to Skyline Chili for lunch.

This was a great place to stop with our toddler and spend a few hours burning off energy from a long car ride. It was easy to get to even while towing a RV trailer. Parking was great also. There were so many activities for kids of all ages. I wish we had a full day to explore all there was to offer. I think this place has something for everyone.

Great! We took my 2 year old son and 6 year old nephew and they had a blast! The interactive exhibits and learning centers make learning fun and fun learning. And the dinosaur hall is a hit.

Located in the beautiful Union Station. It had lots of great exhibits across a wide range of topics. Hands on Science stations let the kids learn concepts by doing things. Worth the price.

We were in from Missouri and this place is amazing. My toddler was able to run around in their toddler area and they had so many different stations for kids of all ages. Additionally, they offer lower entrance fee for low income folks. We can't wait to come back.

We have passes here and it’s been a lot of fun. Things we’ve enjoyed: The children’s museum has lots of fun things for kids of younger ages. I would say if your kids are 10+ there probably won’t be much for them besides the wooded area. But the rest of the museum is fun for adults and older kids! I love the baby area for our one year old. They have a nursing room and a little part just for infants. There’s not too much for her to do yet because she isn’t walking. Plenty to do for our 6yo, 4yo, and 2yo. The museum of history and science has so much to see. You just have to walk around to figure out where things are, it’s very spaced out! The cave is our favorite exhibit. Reminds me of a real cave we went to in Tennessee. Lots of stairs though, just to be aware. The ice age exhibit is really neat and a ton of fun for my kids. Things that could be better: they hyped up the science show, we waited for probably ten minutes and it lasted around 20 seconds, it was two small puffs of fire after they kept staying it would be a fireball explosion. The bathroom back by where the fossils are is SO HOT. There are no signs in the ice age exhibit that say “no touching” or “no climbing” it becomes very confusing what can and can’t be touched. There was an employee literally following everyone around saying “don’t touch that, don’t walk there, don’t step on that, stay on the path.” When the areas look okay to climb on. The family behind me was getting frustrated too and complaining that the areas that can’t be touched should be roped off, especially when it seems aimed towards children. In the photo I uploaded of the mounds and the wolves, that area is okay to climb on, and just a couple feet away where my son stood the employee told him not to stand there. When it’s RIGHT NEXT to an area that’s kid friendly and meant to be played on. There’s an area where the only thing in the room is a fake lake with color changing lights, it looks like it’s meant for play, and he told my kids they couldn’t be there. I will post a video of this specific area. Things to be aware of: it’s a far walk from the parking lot, up hill. The ramps in the museum of history and science are very steep. They have strollers you can rent, and I saw somebody there with an electric scooter that had a “rented” sign on it. It can get very busy. Our first two times it was packed. Like every time we turned around we almost bumped into somebody. The price of omnimax, Holocaust exhibit, and special exhibits like the Lego Exhibit are extra. All-in-all we’ve had a lot of fun here and come regularly. I emailed the company over the employee who was following people around and how it was confusing what was okay to touch, will update if they reply.

My family loved it here we didn't get to see all the exhibits. But what we had a chance to see was great. Will definitely return in the future and plan on getting passes so we can have more family days here.

It's okay. The kids like to play here. Some kids, however, are very rude and will take things from other kids. I watch very closely because I will not allow my children to be the victim of this. We like to go here on rainy days, but I would not consider getting a pass since we don't go that often. It's definitely nice when the weather is not so good, which is the only time we go. I also don't understand as to why both entrances to the museum exhibits are on the same floor and both exits are on the same floor. So if you want to see both, you have to go back up to get into the other one, and then you will end back on the bottom floor. Seems there could be a better way to do this.

Amazing. We used our reciprocal membership and purchased entry to the bricktionary. Bricktionary was worth the extra cost. Informative and interactive. My kids (2 abd 4) loved it. We then went to the museum portion. We visited almost every area. So many great imaginary play areas and so well planned. The diner, grocery, auto repair, nursery, vet, post office, ice cream cart. Giant teeth to brush. A dance stage with play silks and lights. Water table area, little kid’s space (4 and under), and a bigger kid area (8 and up).

Great experience....Would highly recommend. Very interesting museum. There were so many activities for kids of all ages. Kids were very enthusiastic about everything! Parking was great also. They have an agreement with Center of Science and Industry (COSI) in Columbus, so if you have a membership with either entrance is free with the other.

Had an absolute blast here with the kids. Lots of interesting exhibits to see. The imax theater was available to see on this trip but we didn't make it. There are more then plenty of learning stations that keep kids engaged and active. We ended up buying passes because we just couldn't fit everything in, in one day.

So far, there were too many unknowns to start (where is parking--East in paid lot, FYI) & now that we're here & bought our way into the Children's Museum, we apparently also get into a cpl other museums we didn't want to access. There is a kids' village, but this floor feels cramped and anxiety-inducing where a number of kids are milling around if I try to join my daughter (age 2) in play. Tried to use the restroom & got walked in on because the door wouldn't lock. So far, NOT impressed. Looking for the little kids' area soon.

I went there on a play date the price for the Lego thing really isn't worth it, it's to short. The kids play area kids are running everywhere being to rough parents not watching they're kids and kids taking over everything and being rude to others my daughter and her friends couldn't play with anything because these kids had took everything literally my daughter couldn't even get on the play bus because the kids was yelling this my bus this our stuff and no one said anything to them. It was a complete mess in there as well. The museum part was cool but the rest I was over it.

Love it will go all the time it is AMAZING for children, my only complaint is how expensive it is and that to see the special exhibits you have to pay extra, other than that love it 100/10 experience. Ps if you have an ebt card its only 2 dollars a person for up to 7 people which i think is cool.

First time coming here with our 2 yrs old! It was fun. There is a water area for them to play with so next time we will bring him something for water play since we know he is messy. They do have little aprons. When you come out there is a couple food shops but not a lot of options. There is a cafe upstairs but I do not know what they have. Wish the cafe had more gifts for younger kids. 🥺

The staff are so knowledgeable, professional and engaged. There is so much to do here that I think it's safe to say you'll need more than one visit to see everything. Really enjoyed the Lego exhibit!

Although I got in for free, this place is more than just a museum! The science and history museums are unlike no other and are enjoyed by all ages young or old. The staff are all very kind and respectful. The view of the skyline is unlike no other.
