Bookstore with a coffee shop in a great area just off the Covington side of the Roebling Bridge. In addition to beverages, they also have muffins and stuff. I stopped by for a quick cup to go and browsed a little first. Books are pretty well organized in three rooms, including a small nook with childrens books.

Roebling Books and Coffee has become an essential stop for locals in search of a cozy space to enjoy a hot cup of coffee and a good book. This establishment has established itself as an essential part of the community, offering a convenient spot for residents to walk to and take a break from the daily grind. One of the highlights of Roebling Books and Coffee is the ability to not only enjoy a warm beverage but also to browse and purchase a wide selection of books. This aspect allows customers to support local businesses and cultivate a rich reading culture within the community. However, despite the charming atmosphere and valuable offerings, the experience at Roebling Books and Coffee is tarnished by a few unfortunate shortcomings. The coffee, while generally satisfactory, suffers from inconsistency. Customers may notice that the taste and quality of their preferred beverages can vary greatly, even when prepared by the same barista. Furthermore, the staff's unfriendly demeanor casts a shadow over the overall experience at this local gem. As a regular patron, I have often felt as though I was interrupting or inconveniencing the employees when placing my order. This sentiment has been echoed by friends who have joined me for coffee dates at Roebling Books and Coffee. Just yesterday, I met a couple there who shared similar complaints about the lackluster service. While I will continue to frequent Roebling Books and Coffee to support local business and enjoy the convenience it offers, it is disappointing to see such potential marred by poor service. I sincerely hope that the management takes notice of these concerns and works to address them, ultimately elevating the experience for all who visit this cherished neighborhood spot.

I ordered a dirty turmeric and ginger latte which had a unique, distinct flavor. It was a hair sweet for me, but still a delicious way to start the day. My daughter had an iced honey lavender latte with half the syrup and it's flavor was sublime. The honey added just enough flavor without making it taste over-honeyed. The lavender added a wonder soft aroma and complemented the honey perfectly. There is street parking and a few tables out front. Be sure to check out the book store as well. Wonderful, sometimes eclectic selection.

This is a carefully curated progressive bookstore that sells full price books. If that interests you, you'll really enjoy it! The coffee and homemade treats are tasty.

The cutest little place in a beautiful neighborhood. Very large book selection and a community room, too. Walk from the Cinci riverfront over here for a nice little reward!

A diamond in the rough, I walked across the bridge to seek this gem. I'd only heard of the cafe, so on a lazy Sat afternoon, I managed to catch a mild day for a walk and found it. It's as if you went over your favorite Auntie's house, and they happened to also be a retired professor. That faint smell of used books and strong coffee permeates the air. Though compact, the space is larger than it seems. And while I enjoyed the atmosphere, I would not recommend wanting to stay and carry on too deep of a conversation. Once several voices get going, it can be difficult to pay attention to the conversation you're supposed to be focusing on!😅 All in all, it was well worth the walk. And the service of the baristas was top notch. I just listened to them take an order and give a suggestion to someone, and I wanted to tip them! Good people, a great spot. You'll feel right at home.

Great little book store. Nice selection. Cafe was really good. Hot Cocoa was perfect! Owner was super nice and her dog was even nicer! I wear my Roebling beanie with pride.

The first time I stepped into this bookstore, I was immediately greeted at the front door where they were serving coffee and tea. I was impressed by the open spaces and the spacious rooms with desks for reading and writing. Each desk comes equipped with plugs for your laptop, if needed. I would highly suggest going on a Saturday morning when it's calm and there are a lot of spaces available. Enjoy!

Great drink selection, from coffee, to matcha & more. Pastries too. Or if you want to chill for a bit & get out of the heat or cold there are places for indoors seating. I tried a pastry that had goat cheese w/caramelized onions , I'm not a fan but maybe you are. Make sure you read the chalkboard offerings before ordering, I'm not too sure you will get what you want if you ask. Give this place a shot.

I fell back in love with books a while ago, and in the process of giving myself a little bit of love I took myself on a date to this shop and I'm so glad I did. I got an amazing latte and browsed. The book selection is phenomenal. I asked questions and chit chatted with the staff and they made me feel so welcome. I was so comfortable reading in one of the back rooms for a good hour or so. I'm happy to say I bought two books while there, and pre-ordered two which I will be picking up tomorrow with my husband. Best believe we'll be getting some of that amazing coffee and I will be back on more dates with myself 💕 what an amazing little comfortable spot.

Cool funky little book store and coffee shop. Easy to walk up to on your way to Cincinnati from Covington. Drinks are always served with kindness and their super speedy. I want to find a book and hang outside at a table once the weather levels out a bit!

the coffee is great. but the staff is so rude every single time i step foot in this establishment. i’ve lived in covington for 4 years so i’ve been here plenty of times, they often do not acknowledge you at all when you enter. i’ve even been the first speak and say hi and they just glare at me. only thing the barista says to me is “what do you want?” it’s the male barista with long hair especially. it’s so bad that i only come here when i have no other option and i literally dread having to do so because i feel so unwelcome. mind you, i tip very well everywhere i go regardless of the service and i don’t place complicated orders. i’m not sure what their issue is. it’s odd. i’ve never left a review in my life but after 4 years of attitude from these folks i had to say something. i’ve seen other reviews saying the same and i’ve had friends tell me they get the same vibes from the staff.

Really cool place. Never new it existed. Definitely coming back. It's a little hidden treasure and it looks completely different on the inside than the outside. Great coffee, great book selection, great atmosphere

Adorable!!! So cozy and inviting. The coffee was good but the ambiance was incredible. Their staff was so kind and helpful and we got to spend a rainy morning sipping coffee and reading books. Nothing better.

Outstanding bookstore right across the Roebling bridge. They have consistently served me perfect cortados since the first time I visited. They have some great rooms for reading, or for chatting about literature with other patrons. It's just a really welcoming place.

Absolutely love this space and the community it creates. The baristas are kind and welcoming, and they make a great cup of coffee. This spot is open almost year-round because the crew want to be available for those who don't have family during the holidays. AND THE BOOKSTORE! I'm always able to find books in my favorite genres, as well as some gems that stretch my mind and outlook on the world. Roebling also makes ordering books incredibly easy if a title I'm looking for isn't immediately available in store.

Amazing place. Super friendly small shop. Amazing coffee (try the iced redlegs with oat milk 🖤) amazing staff and amazing book selection. I picked up a super cool novel and while checking out the person helping me recommended another book by my author they thought I'd like. Thank you Roebling! We will be back!

Lots and lots of books! I had a great double shot of espresso and sat outside at one of their three outdoor tables on a rather quiet street (at least at 9am). A cute little dog took a look at me when I walked inside. They have a masks required indoor policy which I totally agree with.

Hard to beat this long-time local bookstore! Generally friendly staff, good coffee (not in a to-go cup - love to see mugs!!), nice to have some options for treats (personally enjoy the morning glory muffin) and outdoor seating when the weather is nice, and good display of popular books along the front wall, as well as many more of course in the back rooms! I have personally stopped by multiple times.

A real find in what might be the grooviest little neighborhood in all of Kentucky, just an historic bridge away from downtown Cincinnati. Expertly curated selection of books new and old plus a decent Flat White. Who could ask for more?

This local treasure is full of joy. Great book offerings, amazing programming like book clubs and more. Hard to beat their barista made drinks. Especially considering how cool and kind all the staff are. Get the world's best made turmeric latte from Joe!
