👍👍 My friend kept telling me to try this coffee place and I’m so glad I did. The baristas immediately greeted me and talked me through their favorite drinks! I had a seasonal latte, and I literally drank it in five minutes. It was the bomb. Will definitely be back to try their signature honey bear next... Honestly, was disappointed with our orders. Had to bring my iced coffee home (I asked for liquid cane sugar and they added simple syrup which i think made the coffee taste so horrible) and add creamer to make it taste better and even then it wasn’t very good. My wife had their iced vanilla latte with oatmilk and that probably the worst latte I’ve ever had. Absolutely hate to write such bad reviews but being very candid here, just like all of my reviews on Google Maps. However, the staff was very friendly, the ambiance was pretty cool, and the pastries looked delicious. Might have to give them another shot but not sure how stoked I’ll be for that ☹️

If you’re looking for a great neighborhood coffee shop, this is it. The service is friendly and the shop itself is spacious. The chai latte was a little on the weak side if you prefer stronger chai flavor, but the lattes are very tasty. The pastries are fresh as well. We’ll definitely be back!

Some of the best nitro cold brew I have had in Cincinnati! Brewed with a balance of earthiness and subtle flavor, I appreciate how beautifully the “nitro” part of the coffee is steadily e corporates into the cold brew. The texture ends up being perfectly luxurious and comforting. Staff was INCREDIBLY personable and professional! While I am just a visitor passing through, I was greeted and treated with excellent service and care. As I sipped me drunk I watched dozens of others receive the same kindness. The staff also knows their regulars and welcomes them in like family, which is a warming sight to see in any community.

The coffee shop, coffee, baristas all fantastic. The customers who was in there while we was not so much but that’s no reflection on the shop. The shop and staff was wonderful as well as the coffee.

If you’ve had coffee in cincinnati, there’s a good chance the beans are from deeper roots! Consistently so good!! I usually get an iced oat milk latte year round and this morning was no different Exocet I added a ham and cheese crosstant to my order! They even wanted it up for me🤗 Wouldn’t have a cincy coffee scene without deeper roots! If you’re visiting and traveling through would highly recommend grabbing coffee from them or any coffee store that uses their beans 🫶🏻

We love this coffee shop. The people are always friendly and most importantly, the espresso drinks are on point. Flavorful, great foam on the cappuccino and with some latte art to boot.

This is cozy place to plug in, with good WiFi, or just relax and enjoy a coffee with a friend. It is a smaller place, though. I'm a basic guy, so I've only had oat milk lattes/cappucinnos. Nonetheless, they have great quality espresso and skilled baristas to get that much foam out of oat milk! Their signature drinks do sound amazing, so I'm sure I'll eventually dive more into the menu. Definitely a fan of DRC!

great coffee! I like that they have a nice little outdoor seating area and I have always had friendly and quick service It gets pretty crowded in here quickly because the building is pretty small and feels a bit crammed with stuff. which is my only small complaint. they also have a nice selection of coffee beans ground (or whole) however you want and some coffee supplies. Pour over, filters, chemex etc. the baked goods I've had here have also been good,

    • Very tasty coffee, nice place and decent area, free 1hr parking • The shop is neat and clean, it's simply decorated and has decent prices. I've tried the nitro cold brew, which was very good. It came in a nice glass and looked just like beer with the little foam and had and interesting taste. It tastes like a good coffee (nothing too strong or bitter) with a little tingle on your tongue from the bubbles. • One thing that was a little weird was the seating. There were two larger tables that were taken, and smaller high tops with people working on their laptops. Which is fine, it's a coffee shop, but there was only one table for two and it was taken. We sat on awkward chairs next to each other to someone else got up and we could sit at a table.

Great local shop and roaster. High quality product. Slightly higher prices. No cold brew :( iced coffee though! Pour over station, excellent espresso and milk steaming. Friendly and clean. Good Wi-Fi and different sitting areas.

My besty is obsessed with the Honey Bear lattes, iced with oatmilk. She recommended I try it and now I am obsessed too. Highly recommend this spot! Friendly service. High quality coffee.

The coffee here packs a punch of flavor. If you like flavorful coffee (not flavored artificially) then this place will be sure to shock your taste buds. I got the Guatamala pour over and it was very good. Like the atmosphere although not too much seating available. Service was good. My wife got the drip of the day which was just OK. Would return again

Dude this coffee is some of the best any city has to offer. The Cortado and Latte we tried were both stellar!! The staff is super nice too. The seating and decor inside is a little bit bland, is my only criticism.

Went here a few weeks ago to get some work done for a few hours and buy some coffee for fathers day. From their social media I knew they sold bags of coffee beans, so I chose Deeper Roots to do both these things. The first two baristas I interacted with were kind and timely. I had a good cappuccino. Most of the tables are in-between the bar and storage room/bathroom, so staff is walking past you frequently. Not a deal breaker but not the most comfortable environment to work in. Before I left I took a brief look at their whole bean coffee selection. Then I asked the barista (best described as a tall man with a gap between his teeth. sorry I don't know his name) for his recommendation, based on the brand of coffee my dad usually drinks. He told me I should just buy him that brand. I don't know if he was trying to be funny or snarky, either way I was taken aback. I grabbed the coffee he recommended, and started paying for it. Barista asks me(with a rather condescending tone) "does your -dad- have a coffee grinder?" I told him yes, and then he asked "Why?" I said something along the lines of "idk dude maybe he's tried other coffee before?" My dad enjoyed the coffee but unfortunately I won't be buying it for him again. I don't know if the barista was trying to be funny/helpful or rude. Regardless it felt like the latter option. I know this is a rather petty reaction for one short conversation, but on my first visit to this shop it was enough to turn me away indefinitely.

The WiFi is fast, the mochas are nice, and the seating is comfortable. What more could you ask for? It's a solid coffee shop.

Great espresso made with love by well-trained baristas. Good study space, though a tad cramped on the weekends.

I love Deeper Roots Coffee! This shop in Oakley is pretty small. Met a friend here at 9:00 and within the hour it was so crowded and loud that I felt I was practically shouting to be heard across this table. I guess in a way this is a good thing -- it means the place is popular! However, if you're looking for a place to study or meet up with someone, this may not be the best option, especially on weekends. I often buy my beans from them though and love to drink the coffee at home ❤️☕

Super chill coffee shop. Parking lot right next door and the best toy store in town a few doors down.

So yummy! I love their specialty coffees, and appreciate that their chai isn’t the super sweetened syrupy stuff of some places.

This is a great little coffee shop! I had a winterberry nitro iced coffee and hung out while working outside of the office. It was pretty lively and the batista were really nice. I'll definitely go back when I need a place to work!

A great cup of coffee. Coffee of the day is always flavorful, and it's nice to try a different blend almost every time I stop in.

Deeper Roots is a great independent coffee ☕ shop. One of my favorite things is a unique coffee drink. And I really love their honey 🐻 bear latte.

Super disappointed. I live close to Deeper Roots and was very excited to try it out. I went this weekend to get some work done. I was deciding what to order and the person checking me out was less than helpful when I was asking a few questions about the menu. There was only 1 food option left. There was a sign with the wifi, when my computer wouldn’t connect I asked the 2 employees behind the counter for help or if there was another wifi I could use — there were 3 Wi-Fi’s that had some version of Deeper Roots in the name. They responded dismissively that the wifi frequently didn’t work and if they got some time they would try to fix it. After 40 minutes, that time still hadn’t come, and I still had no wifi (or even acknowledgement from the staff) and so I left.

Coffee was really great. Got the honey and cinnamon latte and I liked it so much that I make it that way at home now. Atmosphere was relaxing.

I tried the iced vanilla latte. It was subpar and the vanilla tasted artificial. I’m more concerned about the lack of customer service when I went into this establishment. I was standing and waiting for about 5 minutes before anyone greeted me or asked me what I wanted. The two baristas were more concerned with laughing and trying coffee with one another, instead of servicing a paying customer. I don’t think I’ll be back.
