Upon walking in I was pleasantly surprised at the size and the feel of the place. There are plenty of places to sit and work or to just spend some time catching up with a friend. Anything from a quiet table in a separate room, to a comfy couch, to a large table for a group. The atmosphere is very nice and the staff was friendly. There is a shelf with several board games and some local art. The coffee was good. Small assortment of pre-wrapped pastries.

I would of given the original Rohs 5 stars. “Rohs” now has new management and it took away all of the charm it originally had. Coffee is not as good anymore, the employees are volunteers so you don’t get the lovely interactions with the previous employees (who literally made the place what it was). Decor looks cheap and uninviting. They cut off the large room so it’s now much smaller. Overall, way less genuine and I’m so sad to see my favorite coffee shop turn into this charmless and unfriendly place. Will not be going to “Rohs” as much as I did when it was Rohs.

Really cool atmosphere! Huge space so we had no problem finding a place to sit and chat. I got a cappuccino with macadamia nut milk (never had that before) and it was good! I like my coffee strong and it definitely met those needs. They also offer oat milk as a non-dairy/vegan milk option.

It's the type of place where... ... they do latte art even though they give the drink to you (during Covid times) with a lid on it. ... the staff ask for your name if you come often. ... the staff make their own music playlists. ... the sun floods in through windows past plants and onto old wooden floors. ... you can make new friends or hide away in the corner and get work done. ... the drinks can be customized with single origin beans. ...where a coffee can also be "just a coffee." ... local baked goods tempt you or treat you after turning in that paper. This is many peoples' "other living room" in Cincinnati. Regulars and newcomers alike, all seem to feel welcome. I know I do! A sign hangs above the coffee grinder... " We filter coffee, not people." Try the cortado, find your favorite spot, check out local artists work, enjoy the vibes. Started in 2003, used to be just pots of coffee in mugs in the basement. Different than other coffee shops (as of March 2021): local baked goods but no food (means you can bring in take out).

Cute and bright place. The rose tea is phenomenal. Went there for poem readings. Great venue.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Cincy! I alternate between lattes, cold brew, house sodas and Italian sodas. Never had a bad drink here. I also love the chocolate cream cheese muffin.

Really good coffee for a very reasonable price. It's a really cool spot but it can get a little hot in there in the summer. (probably because it is an old building)

Really good vibe. Open fairly late, the staff was promt, everyone was polite, and the atmosphere was conducive to studying. Tough to find parking and drive around though

Coffee Emporium may have the best drips but Rohs has the best cappuccino. Very reliable environment which flows with the college kids. Empty in the mornings, pretty reliably packed most afternoons. Great people watching, great location. They have space you can reserve for meetings and the whole op supports a church the cafe is attached to.

Little hard to get to with parking, but once you're there it's worth it. Locally roasted coffee and plenty of seating.

This is literally the best coffee place in the entire world! So #1 the vibes are amazing, it's super comfy and chill and there's about a million different places to sit. #2 literally every single staff member we've met so far has been very sweet, within 2 months we've already become regulars and they treat us like friends, it's great! #3 this coffee is like, close your eyes and pause kinda good lol the lattes are always perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter, and the amount of flavor options is amazing. 1000/10 recommend everyday 😁

Honestly. I wasn’t impressed from top to bottom. Busy. Loud. Service was subpar. Burnt the espresso. I had a mocha. Which. I have no idea about most things coffee other than espresso tasting like dirt bc it’s been burnt. I asked for a hot chocolate with espresso. I was corrected to a mocha. Which is fine. But then heard other drinks that weren’t on the menu called out that sounded great like the s’more idk. Maybe one day I’ll try again. For not three stars.

No exaggeration, this is the best cafe in America - the Matcha here is absolutely sensational + an amazing atmosphere + super kind staff. 100% must visit when in Cincinnati - really a national landmark at this point
