Quaint shop hidden down an alley. Excellent coffee, great bean selection, and unique drinks. Baristas were low key and friendly. Knew their stuff. Worth a visit!

This little hidden secret of North Side has to be the most peaceful coffee shop I have ever been to. Tucked back in, basically, an alley way (completely safe) I honestly thought I was following a sign from 1875 to an abandoned building. It is THAT hidden. You have to know about the place to find it...which is why I’m writing this review. SO MORE PEOPLE CAN FIND IT!!! I absolutely love that characteristic. Very community driven home type of atmosphere. Very chill. The coffee is roasted fresh DAILY. That’s unbeatable. And honestly, is WORTHY of being priced at $4.50 for a large Red Eye. Competitors in the industry DO NOT roast their coffee daily. Which makes the cost they charge illegitimate. I didn’t realize all that until I tasted FRESHLY ROASTED coffee beans ground and brewed for the first time in my life. Thank you! This experience meant a lot to me. I have just moved back to Cincinnati and sort of needed a reminder of why our town is awesome. Thank you

What a spot! Me and my wife stopped here during our week long breakfast and coffee "crawl" to different locations each day. First off, it is very easy to walk past and miss the entrance to this incredible coffee shop. It's a small sign up high "Collective Espresso" and a an alleyway type path back that will have you second guessing if you should enter or not. Do enter! It opens up into an awesome landscape of outdoor seating, and an indoor area with a glass roof pulling in the natural sun light, and full of plants. Serenity! Me and my wife had a latte, cortado, and the pistachio Croissant. The coffee and pastries are unreal! The gentleman working this location was very friendly, talkative to each person that walked in, and we just absolutely loved the vibes here. We will definitely be back! Please do yourself a favor and stop here!

Cozy environment and very good coffee. The baristas are super nice and friendly. Though the shop locates in a small alley, you may miss it when passing by. Will come again.

This place uses local milk. If you've ever worked in the industry, you know how big of a difference local organic milk can provide. Very rich, full tasting milk drinks. They also have a kind and informed staff. Willing to go beyond mere convenience and help you understand things about how they make coffee. I got a cappuccino, and then their iced brew coffee. Very much so enjoyed both. It is a tiny shop, so there is a chance you won't find a seat. They have an outdoor area now a days that helps. Also, this shop is a bit away from downtown Cincy. So you get to avoid a little bit of the traffic associated with visiting a shop in the city. Overall, would certainly recommend. Some of Cincy's best coffee for sure.

Northside location of one of my favorite coffee shop companies (also in OTR and at Findlay Market). Same great coffee, same good vibes. Popular with the locals, when there's a line, it moves fast. I tried the iced 'Spro (espresso) Lemonade, which was different in a good way (your mileage may vary). Cozy, limited seating inside + a few tables outdoors. Access from both Hamilton and Cluxton avenues. Good prices.

I'm not one for cafes but this place is an exception. Beautiful private outdoor seating area and really elegant small interior.

Honestly might be my favorite coffee place I’ve been to. Visited yesterday from out of town and had some great drinks. The vibes are through the roof and out barista was super friendly.

I love this place and the petite location! Drinks are exceptional and unique. Please schedule more staff on Friday to help your poor barista! One person cannot handle all the traffic around 9am and they are working as hard as they can.

Amazing coffee! The barista was kind and helpful. It was also synchronized an interesting spot but I loved it. Very much felt like you stumbled upon a unique experience. The all windows and seating inside and out was fun. Loved loved loved it!

My wife and I are in Cincinnati picking up a friend from Northern Ireland. We like to frequent coffee shops and bookstores in our travels. I had a honey latte with oat and my wife had a strawberry latte. They were both amazing. We, also, had a cruffin which is a mix between a croissant and a muffin. It was delectable. The staff were great and the music selection is on point. Nick Drake, Heatmiser (Elliott Smiths previous band,) and Jeff Buckley were the songs I heard. This is a must stop while in Cincinnati.

My favorite coffee shop in Cincinnati! Friendly staff and an excellent matcha latte. The location is also very cute and feels like a greenhouse. Thankful that we have them in Northside to fuel everyone!

This is my new favorite coffee shop. So cozy, tucked back away from the road with a cute patio. The baristas are always friendly, genuinely so, and it lifts my mood each time I visit. I highly recommend their lavender latte!

I wouldnt consider myself an expert in coffee & espresso by any means, but I strongly put this as the best coffee shop in the area. My drinks are absolutely perfect everytime I stop by, and the environment and atmosphere everyone creates is just wonderful. I absolutely adore this place and always look forward to coming in for a drink.

I’ve been coming to collective since it’s founding and it has consistently delivered the highest caliber cafe drinks in Cincinnati. As fads come and go in coffee culture, collective maintains its steadfast commitment to the delivering classic cafe drinks in the way that made a cappuccino a world known delight. Nice courtyard.

Get your local hippie on with a stroll through Northside. Collective is hidden in an alley way, so keep your eyes open and check the address. Great coffee, thoughtfully roasted. The space is very small and seats about 12 at one time, so you may have to take it on the patio in warm months or to go in the winter.

The smallest little coffee shop, with nice patio seating for the warmer days. Dog and human friendly. :)
